The deep tissue massage itself was great. I was able to make an appointment a few hours ahead of time. They have you strip down and lay under a sheet on the table, pretty standard. There's a bit of language barrier and not much communication before getting started, but she was skilled enough to find the problem areas and work them out. She asked multiple times about the pressure and made adjustments, concentrating on areas I pointed out. The main issue I experienced was the constant interruptions. When the phone rang or another customer walked in, she would leave to answer without saying anything. She also stepped out for a few minutes to discuss something with her coworker. There were probably 5-6 separate incidents so it completely disrupted the flow, yet the massage still finished on the hour. I paid in cash to avoid the credit card charge, but it was awkward. I had to ask for change back and instead of just giving me the correct amount, she asked how much - as in, what's the tip? read more

I was in need of a massage so I tried out Fang's since it was close by and decently priced. I went to the Riverton location on 12600 S and Redwood. They also have one on 13400 S off of Bangerter. The Riverton location is clean and quiet. Lucy was the only person working in the Riverton location, but I wish that there were more employees at least to answer the front desk/door when walk-ins come in because Lucy had to leave my session a couple times. Overall, the massage was great and it was affordable. I told Lucy that I don't like foot massages because I am ticklish. She spent a lot of time on my back and neck. She was gentle in very sore areas on my legs (due to leg day at the gym), and she does a great scalp massage. Also, they do charge a $3 fee for cards so keep that in mind. That seems to be the case with a lot of small shops. For a 90 minute massage and 20% tip + $3 card fee, I spent $117. I would definitely come back again. read more

I had a day off stand needed a good deep tissue massage to get all the tension out of my body. I was able to get an appointment the same day, which was much appreciated. I was greeted with a warm smile by my masseuse and she guided me to my room, which is clean, efficient, and calming in decor. The massage itself was genuinely one of the best I've had. My masseuse asked what pressure level in my deep tissue massage (I chose hard) and she did not disappoint. Fantastic, relaxing spa day. I have needed breaks from work and this was a perfect way to relax. The entire massage therapist team has been very skilled and professional. The therapists frequently asked about pressure and adjusted appropriately. I have had deep tissue, medium pressure, hot rock and walk-on-back experts at different times and they have all been incredible leaving me feeling relaxed for days after my appointment. I have had spa days at fancy resorts, but Fang's is hands down better than any. I had the best massage ever at Fang's Massage. It was like I was a piece of dough being rolled and molded by a master baker. I have bad shoulder and neck pain and have been to various chiropractors, osteopaths, and massage therapists, but I'm so glad I found this place as it's really helping me to manage the pain. I was so pleasantly surprised coming to Fang's Massage. I have a prior injury that flares up and I needed attention to it ASAP I called ahead to make an appointment and they had an opening immediately. I drove over ASAP and saw Nancy. She was a little quiet and I told her where I needed extra attention. In some massages I feel as though they go by so fast but with her it felt like a 2 hour massage. I don't even know how she does that. It was great her pressure and flow was great. I highly recommend coming here over the chain massage spots in the areas that are booked weeks in ahead. My husband and I went here on Valentine's Day for a couples massage. The massages were great and the staff was very kind. Seemed to be a little understaffed as our therapists had to walk away for a few minutes to take a phone call and attend to a walk/in customer but we both enjoyed our massage. read more

That was the best massage I have ever had!!! I have been going to Massage Envy for 3 years and none of the massages I've had there ever came close to this 90 minute massage. April 6th, 2023 I decided that I treat myself to "ME" day. I walked into Fang's Massage -- Eva did a great job. One hour I felt that my body needs more wake-ups. I just made another appointment. I do not regret one bit that I walked into Fang's Massage Parlor. The atmosphere is soothing. Easy on the eyes. Gentle music. I scheduled a 90 minute session and it started five minutes late. Then during my scheduled appointment, the masseuse left the room about six times to greet customers at the door. She also ended the session five minutes early. And when it was time to pay, she hussled me for a larger tip demanding 20%. That's not how tips work. Horrible experience. read more
