But there were several things wrong that I'm just not used to. First, they massage over the blanket. Normally, the massage is skin to skin. Second, I wasn't asked to turn. Not once. I was on my belly the whole time. Third, the music was so low that I could hear my own breathing and the massage therapist's breathing; the room has a weird light to it, making the light yellowish and feels more like an old house. Lastly, I normally don't care about gender but why assign my husband a male? I think they should ask for preference like other places. All in all, they were quick to get us out to pay. They didn't offer any water or tea afterwards and before paying, we were asked if we wanted to schedule for a future date. Just feels like the opposite of what the experience usually is. I also didn't notice they were a chain. I would highly recommend getting massages at Basalt Day Spa in sugar house. It's the best.

The top half is rented out for ski season. He met me at the door and asked about my issues and explained how he would approach them. The hour and 30 minutes flew by. I had another commitment or I would have stayed longer, but the pain was gone. As I write this I am actually content and pain free for the first time in several weeks. I have seen Annie and Judy there before and they were great, but for some reason on one of my visits they assigned me to a person that couldn't understand anything I said. I would be a regular customer here if they had high standards, but it is clear in my case that they do not. During my last visit the therapist had to speak with me with the phone translator and used too much pressure even when I told her not to. That is disappointing and also dangerous from a health standpoint. The point of a massage is to relax not risk injury because of poor communication.
