As I was passing through town, I was not able to seek an appointment with any of my normal massage therapists. Fortunately, I managed to find a same day appointment at Cascade Massage Spa. The entire operation was located in a rather nondescript stretch of storefronts in Sandy, but I was incredibly pleased with the service and price. The therapist took me early, and he was in constant communication about my needs. I would very happily return to Cascade Massage for additional care in the future. American Express is not accepted here, and there is a small fee for using credit cards, so costumers should consider bringing cash to make any necessary payments. read more

Massages were great, however it wasn't very relaxing. We booked a couples massage for two hours. The massages were very through but during them we were walked in on by a small child (while our bottom cheeks were out). We could hear them playing in the lobby. There's a dog groomer right next door and we could hear a dog barking nearly the entire time, which I understand is out of their control. My partner's masseuse was using her phone during our service and buzzed a few times. The massage table was also not long though for my partner. He's 5'11. Five stars, I could make it six. I received the most relaxing, albeit energizing, massage from Angel at Cascade in Sandy, Utah. Quiet, gentle surroundings , spotless. Angel is very skillful in her occupation. I am a senior (over 60) and highly recommend her. read more

Pretty good! They got me in immediately as soon as I arrived, pricing was good, and the staff were friendly. It was a sort of last minute appointment because my body was hurting so badly I needed a massage ASAP. The spa was pretty clean and the massage was good. However, I likely won't come back just because I am I guess more of a needy person when it comes to massage. I get massages frequently and like to try new places from time to time, and wasn't 100% impressed here unfortunately. I would however recommend this spot to people who just want a nice massage and don't have specific ailments they need tended to! My only major criticisms are the following; 1. I prefer when I am asked what I'd like worked on to address what's hurting, which did not happen here. Had I of gotten the opportunity to express my needs, maybe I'd return. 2. The massage itself was very simple, as in the same repetitive motions over the same spots over and over, and he barely touched my neck which was what I needed most. All in all, decent spot to get a relaxing massage in for most people I would think. I have been to this Spa multiple times now & the masseuse always does a good job. I usually just get the $45 one hour foot massage. I stand all day for work so this massage really does the trick. Today I had Leo & he did a great job at feeling which parts of my body were more tight/sore that needed extra work. My friend and I wanted a last-minute massage and they had an opening for a couples massage, so we booked it. They were NOT masseuses and we did NOT get a massage. It was akin to a "massage" you would get for a manicure or pedicure but at real massage prices. They did not ask if we had any injuries or if there were places we wanted to avoid. They didn't ask what places we wanted to focus on or the pressure we wanted. I laid on the bed and spent the first ten minutes under the covers with the guy pressing on me with his entire body weight. My massage was just a rub down, and they did not adjust the covers appropriately when transitioning to our legs or arms. They just yanked them out of the covers. The lady giving my friend a massage, tucked the blanket into her butt crack to massage her leg! They also left without a word for about 5 minutes in the middle of the massage and came back with hot, rough towels and scrubbed our skin for a minute. At the end, they didn't offer water or tell us the usual instructions on what to expect and what to do after. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

My wife and I purchased the 90 minute couples massage at Palm Massage Spa. Neither of us had a good experience. The bed warmers had not been turned on until we entered the room, so our beds were cold to climb into them. This was January 3rd, 2022. I was convinced the gentleman doing my massage was either the janitor or the roommate of the one massaging my wife because he was so bad. He spent the vast, vast majority on my back...with his elbow. There was no warm-up time he just started shoving me in the back. He may want to go to chiropractic school, because I think he kept hoping to crack my back? He would put his elbow in between my shoulder blades and press his body weight into me then run that up and down my spine. He spent some time on my shoulders, then to my back. Some time on my arms, but not actually massaging just kind of rubbing, like maybe trying to warm them. Then back to my back. He spent a little time on my legs, but like my arms not massaging, almost as though he was afraid to rub to hard. This after trying to crack and dig his elbow into my back. My feet didn't even get touched. When I was asked to turn over, He lifted the sheet where he could see my body so I had to grab the sheet. He rubbed on my hands even massage-like, but only on my thumb and pinky. He tried to pop all my knuckles and then went to my knees. My knees. Again not massaging, but rather rubbing as though to try to warm. When they were finished and stepped out, after about 75-80 minutes, we got dressed, paid and left. That's when I learned that my wife's was just as awful as mine. read more

Found this location on Google while searching for a foot massage place. I called ahead and made an appointment for a 90-minute massage at 6:30pm. When I arrived at 6:25 the therapist that came out was obviously in the middle of massaging someone else. I was informed she was the only one there, that another employee had not shown up for work and she had another appointment at 7 pm. Since the other appointment was made before mine they could not honor my appointment. Of course, she gave the standard suggestion of "come back tomorrow". read more

$112 plus tip. Looked at clock at 3:20 when massage started. Ended at 4:30 exactly. They switched therapist from female to male 30 mins into session, which wasn't ideal. Was then charged for 90 min rate. Explained to therapist that it was a no more than a 70 min massage plus delays from therapists switching and leaving to manage the lobby multiple times. Was then told by therapist that I was wrong and they had video proof of when I arrived, which he failed to show me. And i know for a fact is not correct. Rather than work with me they wanted to insist that I was wrong. Rather than argue I paid and tipped and left. I feel the need to leave a honest review. Hopefully management can address these issues properly. Advice to other people; confirm start time with therapists and expect therapist to leave multiple times during session. For $112 plus tip this business is in the highest end of a price point for this type of massage... IMHO this should be a much more professional and relaxing massage. read more
