The available options went as far as the backing music to the scent of the oils. What made it over the top for me was my masseuse Sarah. She listened intently and as she began to work on me I immediately noticed how intuitively she found and relieved every spot perfectly. I've had lots of sports injuries through the years and have done lots of physical therapy and massage as a result. Until Sarah I had never really been so impressed with the outcomes. Oh, how I wish I had this spa where I live! The ambiance is so relaxing and soothing. The locker room is inviting and there is a nice relaxation room where you wait for your treatment. You are offered tea or water, and given a robe and slippers. There are heated neck pillows to drape around your neck which feel great! My facial (the 60 minute Age Defense facial) was amazing and the arm/hand/neck massage that accompanied it was wonderful. My esthetician was Amber and she was so friendly! She asked my permission to do extractions and was very attentive in making sure I was comfortable. My skin looked and felt great. My massage was good, I would prefer more hands to straight forearms. I did ask for a specific spot and I don't feel he listen to me. As far as my boyfriend massage, we booked a deep tissue, but in the 80 min he didn't even start deep tissue, I could hear he stating can you go deeper and directing him on what spot need attention the therapist all but ignored him. I tried to call to reschedule an appointment. I had two appointments, and was feeling sick. I ended up canceling my brow appointment online because I tested positive for Covid. I didn't think I needed to call about that brow appointment since I canceled online and put Covid as the reason. When I called back asking to reschedule the massage due to Covid Tina told me I needed to come in anyway or I'd be charged. I asked her if the massage therapist would mind if I got them sick...and she just told me they don't care if I have Covid I have to show up or I'll be charged. Just really odd. my fist visit to Spavia the as great. this would've been my second visit but I had to cancel. I got charged $119.00 (the full cost of the facial I had scheduled to come in for). I woke that morning with a fever, cold chills, body aches a terrible sore throat. I called first thing in the morning to cancel my 1:30pm appointment. Spavia will not reverse the charge & said that it is in the agreement that less than a 24 hour cancellation you will get charged for the whole service. First of all I only made the appointment the day before at 4pm. So it was less than 24 hours even when I made the appointment. Second I was never sent an agreement or told of this policy. Third, I do understand that a company looses money with late cancellations but to charge the full amount (instead of a cancellation fee) especially when I wasn't about to expose the technician, who was going to be close to my face, to the flu symptoms I was obviously contagious with. needless to say I will not ever schedule an appointment with Spavia again! read more

I booked a 60 minute couples massage at 11:10 am, we came in at 11:13 am. Their iPad check in process wasn't working, so I filled out a paper form. The massage therapist said they're running tight on time so it would only be a 30 minute massage. OK, fair enough. The male massage therapist who did my massage was a very loud breather and I couldn't relax hearing it. I was a bit uncomfortable. After the 30 minute massage, we went back to the front desk to check out. They wanted to charge us for the full 60 minutes! I then spoke up and said no, we only got 30 minute massages. The receptionist's retort was that we came in late. I don't see how a 3 minute tardy equates 30 minutes. What ultimately made us run late was the terrible check in process. The iPad didn't work, so it took longer for the receptionist to attempt to get it to work and then resort to the paper form. Of course, she didn't want to admit that's what ate up the time. What also baffles me is how they made us fill out that form just to pay 0 attention to it! I indicated on my form that I did not want any conversation during my session. My massage therapist kept trying to ask me questions like "so, have you been up to park city yet?" They should have their customers fill out the form PRIOR to the appointment, and they should tell customers to come in 10 minutes before to afford the time. When I booked the appointment, it would've been smart for them to tell me to come in at 11, not 11:10. Maybe then their employees would also get ample time to read the forms and understand the customer preferences. After I had to then speak up again, they agreed to only charge us for 30 minute massages. I found it very unprofessional. I thought the spa itself was clean and nicely decorated. I was disappointed that we didn't get the robe and slippers due to the time constraints. I didn't feel like we got the full experience we were looking forward to when we booked the couples massage. I appreciate the business owner for responding to my review and I would just like to clarify that I never received a confirmation text or email. I never had an opportunity to click any link and fill out the new customer form. I did get a phone call/voicemail the night before the appointment but the voicemail doesn't mention this intake form at all. read more

Tonight I had one of the best deep muscle massages I've ever had. Usually the massage therapist does not go deep enough and I'm left wanting. Ryan asked what target areas I had and then proceeded to work that area and the rest! After, he gave recommendations on how to continue to see improvement in my target area and showed me stretches to do. I feel AMAZING! Thanks Ryan! My massage with Cameron was great. However, my problem is with the management at this place. I am from out of town and I called in advance to book a spa day for my best friend and I during our vacation. I booked the Rejuvenate package (the $450 package per person) for the both of us. However, we were informed once we were about to get our massages that there would be no facial and no body wrap today. I talked to the front desk and the nice lady said she did not know what happened because we were not even booked for those things. We only got booked for the massages and the scalp treatment which did not make sense because we called and booked the Rejuvenate package, not the massages individually. I was informed that the manager made a mistake and could not even be held accountable because she was off that day. I am very disappointed with this place. If you want to book here, make sure you triple check what you have been booked for because there is a good chance they will mess that up. read more

When muscle relaxers and chiropractors aren't working, I turned to yelp to find the best massage therapy money can buy. Spavia was on the top of the list with an available appointment on New Year's Day so of course, your girl snagged it. As a first time client, you get $30 off you first visit Monday-Thursday. Any other first day visit can be $20 off if you check into yelp. I was greeted at the door with smiles! Since I filled the questionnaires online, I was able to enjoy the amenities Spavia offered. Hot or cold teas, showers, warm neck wrap and books to read while you wait. Meanwhile I'm just writing this review. *winks* The showers has towels for you to use along with a blowdryer, hairspray and comb if needed before and/or after your massage. My appointment was at 1:10pm and the nice lady told me the session starts exactly at 1:10pm. I was sitting in the lounge area for an additional 20 minutes before my therapist was ready. (I felt like I was waiting for a doctor appt). Anyways. The massage was good. I told my massage therapist to focus mainly on my back since I have the most problems there. He started massaging my limbs and I didn't realize I had knots all over this! All thissssss! (Talking about my body Lol!) I wasn't sure about tell you guys this, but I will! There was a moment when you can hear the guy's stomach growl, then suddenly you smell something funky. And yes, I asked if he farted and he calmly said no, but the smell may come from the work room and men's bathroom which is on the other side of the wall. Yelp friends. I'm. It sure what to believe, but it was funky. After the session was over, he was supposed to wait outside the room with water, but he wasn't. Surprise surprise. I got changed and went out to the lobby to pay. The ladies up front brought me water instead. Pricing. If you sign up with their 3 month membership, you can get massages at $1 per minute. Be aware the clock starts as soon as you get PICKED UP from the waiting area. So the actual treatment time could be up to 15 minutes LESS than what you signed up for. I've had therapists get me past the time I'm scheduled for. So that plus walking to the room, leaving to get undressed and coming back, has taken up to 15 min. This is the first spa that practices this rule and it misrepresents what you signed up for and paying. Please consider starting the treatment time when the therapist begins the work, NOT at pick up. Otherwise all the staff and the atmosphere have been pleasant. read more

Receptionist called an hour before mine and my cousins appointment, trying to cancel her appointment because the technician had a "medical emergency" when I told her that was unacceptable as it was Mother's Day, and she needed to find somebody else. She called me back within five minutes, saying that the same technician was all better now to do the massage. It honestly just sounded like the technician was trying to leave early and wanted to see if we can cancel so she can leave early. Also, my massage therapist was trembling, shaking the entire time during my massage. I don't know if it was her first time or she was brand new, but it was very uncomfortable. I am all about supporting a local business, but after joining their membership program and constantly having problems for a good year, I can not recommend their services. DEFINETLY, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE, they will charge whatever they want. There has been a recent change of ownership, and although I tried to support their local business thru their transition process, having literally only 2 therapists for several months, plenty of cancelled services. The final straw, I had scheduled my daughter for a massage using a gift card I had just purchased (scheduled service same time I purchased g.c.) When I made the appt. I confirmed the massage scheduled would be covered with the gift card. I also confirmed the day of the appt. her services would be covered, nothing would be charged to my credit card. (I had to take these precautions because of previous issues of them charging my card without permission) However, when I received my credit card statement there was an additional charge of $20. I contacted the manager April to figure out why I was charged $40. She insisted I was not charged that amount. I even offered to send a copy of my cc statement but she said, no there was no need because her system only shows $20 for the tip and that disputing it thru my credit card company would be best. Meanwhile I received a call a couple hours later from April, that they did in fact charge my card an additional $20 (funny how her story changed, but not surprised) and that the service was a Premier service and put the blame back on me. I am unsure what other steps I could have taken to prevent this and verified before I left the day of service that no addtl. charges were due, but April definitely took no accountability and changed her position and justified the charge. She even thru back in my face that we had previous issues, (which the owner had taken full accountability for and apologized for the lack of training on their end) In the end, I cancelled my membership and will definitely not recommend or be back. read more
