Dip powder on natural nail by Leo
Lauren S.

Leo absolutely crushes it with both builder gel and dip powder! Always look forward to a fresh set.

Not thrilled with my manicure, I wanted a milky pink color and it came out pure white. I'm not sure why? The man had the correct number of the nail polish, but it was not looking like the sample. I don't know if it was supposed to be a gel or what? Anyway, wasn't thrilled. My husband ended up getting a pedicure and he's gone to places that were much better for that as well. Sorry to be a Debbie downer.

Hard to take my own picture but they are very nice

I love my nails, im super happy, definitely worth it and they are kind and the vibe was a little awkward but its still nice, and very nice interior

I was in town visiting family during the holiday week and went in to get a gel manicure. Nothing crazy to note during the experience, staff was polite and was no wait time, but the results of the manicure were extremely sub-par. In less than 72 hours many of my nails had the polish lifting at the tips and was chipping significantly. Unfortunately I was unable to return do to the holiday weekend before leaving town. My sister and mom are regulars here so I hate to leave a poor review, but this manicure is just not it. (Pictures attached to show chipping, lifting, and the polish not down to the cuticles. These photos are 72 hours after getting a gel manicure. I typically go 7-10 days before my first chip or any lifting.)

top coat isn't even covering the entire nail

I got the #1 mani pedi combo and my pedicure was less than 10 minutes, then the manicure was extremely rushed and paint job was the worst I've ever seen! She didn't even coat the entire nail with top coat, as seen in my pictures. I will never be back. Do not come here and ESPECIALLY do not have Eva do your manicure or pedicure !!!!!!! :(

I do not recommend this place if you're just looking for a regular manicure. Take a look at my pictures, you can see the poorly painted nails. The nail polish is messy all along my cuticles, and some are even painted on top of my cuticles! The person totally rushed through the job, I also think she may have had poor eye sight. I would have just done my own nails if I knew this was going to be the turn out.

Love this salon so much! Sam and Tina are great, my go to's. Rachel and Bee are also great. LOVE Jordan and Olivia at the front, miss Beth. Fast paced service, but still a lot fun of personality at the front desk

The ladies here were very arrogant and had a lot of attitude. I asked for a wine red and the lady kept selecting purple . I told her it wasn't it and she was getting frustrated and threw the board of colors at me then left. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. You're paying for a service and tipping for a reason. It's not to deal with someone else's frustrations. Not only this, she also "cleaned my cuticles " to where most of my fingers cuticle beds were bleeding. Highly would not recommend this place.

I love US nails! They do the best work in Chico! They always have time to squeeze me in and never leave me waiting super long. Staff is very attentive and super nice. They go above and beyond here. Most salons in Chico cannot do the designs that I request but US Nails never disappoints.

Before you read this post; yes, I know I should have just gotten up and left, but I didn't and I have learned. For starters, I walked in and sat at a corner table that was clearly not an established station. Clipped my nails with a pair of clippers that he pulled out of a drawer, and slipped them out of one of the blue bags, so no way to tell if they were sterilized or disinfected The file was old and had white scuffs all over it He used a the power sanding drill on my bare nail and it was not new He glued the acrylic tips on and then hand filed them with the old and used nail file to an Almond shape, tugging so hard at my nails that had just had the tips glued on. He was so rough that the one glued to my pinkie nail flew off across the, not clean, table into white powder and then picked it up and glued it back on to my nail!!! (Again, I'm an idiot for not walking out, and deserve whatever comes.) The rest of the process was fairly smooth until he got to smoothing out the acrylic powder and he straight cut two of my cuticles and irritated the skin around my nails. He never asked me to wash! He kept looking over my shoulder at the front like he was waiting to get caught for something?! He also started rushing around this time. Another person, assuming someone who works there but is on break, comes over and starts talking to him under his breath and it was creepy as hell. He tried to give me gel even though I had said regular polish from the start, and then made the creepy person who came over earlier go get it. He put on the top coat after the two color layers, dried and you can see the line between top coat and color coats. There was no base coat. Honestly, the only good thing is the shape and how they look. Never going back again.

I wanted my nails to look like the stone Labradorite...and she did an amazing job!

I was immediately offered a glass of water and was taken to my appointment within minutes. I love being about to book things online since I hardly have time to call to book appointments. My facialist was Julian and she was very kind and experienced. She listened to my skin concerns and did an amazing job exfoliating off my blackheads. I left feeling relaxed, hydrated and beautiful. The facial also included a hand and arm massage and soooo many warm towels. I truly loved it. I'm excited to come back and hopefully book with Julian again! Please note this review is not a reflection of the staff, just my personal opinion of the overall experience. The masseuse and esthetician were good however I had a few issues with the location. Located in a business park and very close to a main road right across from a high school. Upon entering the clean waiting room I was greeted and given paperwork to complete. There was a diffuser on, with a pleasant smell however the scent was extremely overwhelming...like hit you in the back of the throat, coughing overwhelming. While I waiting I noted there are two treatment rooms directly off of the waiting room, odd as I've always been to places where the check in/waiting area is separate from any treatment rooms. So close in-fact I could hear another guest talking to her masseuse. I was praying I wouldn't get the other room off the waiting area, but just my luck that was my room. My masseuse was very pleasant and did a good job. I had no issue with the service but the environment was so far from relaxing. Upon entering my room I noticed how bright it was. No overhead light but a lamp on and a large window with sheer drapes which let in a lot of light. This window also received direct sun which made the room very warm on a 100+ degree day. The massage started and I was trying to relax when there was conversation in the waiting room, a man was checking out and speaking very loud, he then excited the spa. There is a literal bell on the door handle which goes off every time someone enter or exits, if that wasn't enough there is an electronic chime that ALSO goes off every time the front door is used. I understand the purpose but it is far from relaxing hearing multiple chimes/bells when the front door is used. The bell/chimes went off multiple times during my service, very distracting. My treatment room shared the front wall of the business which has parking spots a sidewalks length away. I had the joy of hearing every car door open/close, honks from doors being locked and someone's very loud stereo, don't forget the motorcycle rev. The business is close to the road so you hear the traffic going by. I was there on a weekend so the traffic from the high school wasn't bad and most if not all businesses in the business park were closed. I can't imagine how loud it would be during the week. Following my service I was instructed to put on a robe and wait in the waiting area for my next service. I found it uncomfortable siting in my robe in a public waiting area while I held my clothes in my arms. I was then escorted to my next service, I was optimistic as I was taken back into the spa. Just my luck my next room was located with the main wall against the roadway. Thankfully I had a head wrap on and the facial steamer helped mask the sound of the passing traffic. But again, I could still hear the electronic chime every time someone used the from door. My service was good and the esthetician was pleasant and knowledgeable. I booked my appointment the night before and received multiple "reminder" texts the day of which was nice I'm on the fence if I will return or not, if I did it would only be for a facial as the environment is not relaxing for a massage in my opinion. .

This place is amazing and Sandra gives the best facial I have ever had. The spa has the most calm, entrancing environment. Complete relaxation can be found at this little gem. I look forward to these visits each year and wish I could come in for more treatments if I lived closer. The room is so cozy and warm. The table that she works on is one of the most comfortable tables I have ever laid on. The music playing always puts me into a zen zone. The facial is the ultimate way to relaxation. I love every product that Sandra uses during the session. The feel, texture, smell, and after effects feel like my skin is getting an amazing rejuvenating treatment. There is some type of steam machine that I could feel during the first part of the facial. I LOVED this feature! It just seemed to make all the massaging and lotions really penetrate deep into the skin. Some light microderm abrasion was done to help clear the pores. I think this helps to really clear the skin of clogged pores and dead skin. I can't say enough how much I truly enjoy my experience each and every time I come here. It is such a treat! I can't wait to go back.
