I knew they carried Torani syrups, but I was so excited to see they also have Monin syrups! They sell for $11 online. They're only $7.89 a bottle at US Foods!

Firstly, the store is open to the public. I looked for some signs, but there was nothing posted,…read morebut ask and the answer was a resounding yes. I give five stars to any place that convinces me I need that bit of kitchen equipment. Not just replacements or duplicates, I mean stuff that does not exist in my kitchen. I have limited space in my kitchen and I do my best to avoid nonessentials. And there are not too many holes in my kitchen inventory. Since this is a restaurant supply store, I figured most of the equipment would be inappropriate for a home kitchen. And mostly it was. I really don't need paper napkins 5000 at a time. But every now and then I saw something that you don't normally see for the home cook. Now the restaurant size woks and pots were to be expected. What I didn't expect was the equipment that's clearly meant to cook individual size portions. Literally these were the cutest little woks I've ever seen. These were also the only woks where I had even the faintest chance of executing that professional chefs flip. I gave it a whirl and no luck. It's still too heavy for me. They did have some items that were on clearance. Now these prices are perfectly in line with other stores, possibly even lower. But way too late, I already have those. What a bummer. There's some stuff that automatically incited lust. But I already know this type of equipment should never be installed in a residential kitchen. For example, they had gas burners for restaurants. I seriously doubt anyone would run the gas pipes that you need to fuel these burners. I think they would violate most residential building codes. Nevertheless, they're awesome kitchen porn. I found the mix of kitchen equipment very interesting. The percentage of items that were clearly of Asian origin was very large. Here are all the missing doodads that *some* Asian markets should be stocking... Have you ever been frustrated purchasing equipment, where the plastic bits like the lids keep breaking and you can't find the replacements? Take a look at this place, the containers are standardized and so are the lids. Finally. I ran across some truly unexpected items. A lot of them were things you never think of like replacement knobs for pots, replacement wooden handles for woks. And you know those traditional brushes that your mom insist is the only way to clean a wok properly? They had it. They had it in the extra extra extra large size, but they had it. And sometimes it was just little things like the kitchen gloves that look like they would survive a tornado. Unfortunately, they were all latex and I'm allergic to latex. Oh well. Of course, there are the bits of equipment that are only useful in the home kitchen and obviously they are completely missing. Sometimes professionalism is too big of price to pay for giving up traditional cookware. If you're just glancing at the prices, they seem awfully high. But take the time to pull out the item and hold it in your hands. There is no doubt it will be heavier and probably has some interesting features that you won't find for the home version. Let's just say the wire racks will hold your cookies even if they're made of lead. And just to make my point, there was no nonstick anything anywhere that I could spot. For those of you who are looking for kitchen items that are a little bit out of the way or need something heavier duty than average. This is a great place to shop. On the other hand, many of these items are going to be too large to store easily or even to use if the dimensions of your kitchen equipment don't match. The Customer Service in the store was simply fantastic. They left you alone if you wanted to browse, and there was certainly plenty to browse. If you had questions or if you were getting serious about a purchase, they were happy to answer questions and make recommendations. 100% recommend if you are a kitchen equipment geek. You'll have fun even if you can't use any of it. 50-50 if you are looking for something unusual. Most items are only stocked if they are used in a restaurant kitchen. There's nothing that specifically aimed at home kitchens. For example, there are no kitchen appliances. Inventory fluctuates. I was delighted to find a silicone baking mat, but it only came in the half sheet size. My hopes for a domed wok cover rose high when I saw the display of Asian kitchen utensils. But the only wok covers I saw were clearly meant for the industrial size version and not for my puny home kitchen. I would say the store is not for everyone. If you love kitchen equipment, you'll enjoy browsing here and snagging cookware that you can't find anywhere else. For everyone else, most likely you find it disappointing since most of the equipment can be found in your regular department store except these are heavy duty. you may not want to pay the higher expense for an item that's going to outlive you. Or maybe we should all buy here instead of caving to our culture of consumption.

Personally, I do not want to have equipment that does everything for me. I enjoy filling my own pots, and cooking real burgers, using a grill etc. It reminded me of an "air fryer" kitchen. High tech German Equipment that is designed for "lazy cooks". I understand precision cooking. But typically if you are a good cook, you use your skills to achieve this. Additionally, I spent over $200 to prepare the owner food as he said he needed to try my food first. I am not running my business yet and that really hurt my wallet. Naturally, I wanted to provide them with exceptional food. They were blown away by my recipes and they were polite. However, I was not comfortable with the idea of being rushed into signing a contract and paying a $500 membership fee. $3500 a month for only 100 hours of kitchen time with multiple people. Additionally, I was not offered any form of monetary assistance or even food to prepare for them. This is one of the very few kitchens recommended by the Health Department in Sacramento and unfortunately they are not in business to help entrepreneurs get started. Eddy is in business to make a lump sum profit. Speaking of Health Department, he stated multiple times that he had connections in the health department and could guarantee getting my permits pushed through. I did not understand why he thought I needed that. He implied there was a lot of hoops to get over. I suppose that was his pitch to try to get me to sign up. The location is tucked away far from visibility in an office complex. They encourage you to use delivery apps and they do not offer commissary services for equipment. After a long and unsuccessful search in this area I found a true blue 24 hour kitchen in Livermore run by Michelle called New Tradition Artisan Kitchen. She blew me away with her customer service. She is working with me and the rates are the most reasonable I have found. The rates and accommodations make up for the trip there and back.

It offered different types of cuisines: Italian , German , pizza , dim sum , Japanese , Vietnamese, French , etc . It was Monday morning , there was a summer vacation camp class going on and it lasted 2.5 hours . The prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed looking at their cookware . One is the Nora Fleming mini . They are so cute and it has many styles : pearl in a clam shelf , elf , flower basket , love and engagement ring , flamingo, champagne , etc They are made with great details and vibrant colors . I also was amazed at a glass jar for crushing garlic , paired with a small video on the shelf . The aprons designs are pretty and prices are fair . They aren't designed for making baby food, almond butter from almonds or grinding frozen meat into paste for making cha lua or hotdogs. Can smell the burning electric motor smell from home appliances. This smell is toxic and emits cancer causing chemicals. The commercial appliances here don't have that problem. Costs more but you have equipment which fits the task. 2) The home pizza ovens which are popular require peels to get the pizze in and out of the 800 degree oven. They sell both metal and wood versions. The pizza stones for home ovens are much cheaper here than Amazon because it costs more to ship heavy items and AMZN adjusts the price to reflect that even though shipping is "free". Prices better than online and you can see the quality of the product. They have both 16 and 12 inch sizes for peels, etc.. The newer lower cost electric/gas home pizza ovens are 12. They have bread baking pans and detroit pizza pans in stock! No need to go online to get them. The long handles for pizza peels make them unattractive for shipping. If they are shipped then price is 2x of what you see here. 3) Cutting boards, they have the fancy John Boos wood cutting board considered by many to be the best made to cheaper and lighter bamboo boards and poly ones. All come in larger sizes. Not the smaller sizes sold in costco. Much better variety here. Same comment as above for pizza stones. Cheaper than online because heavy items are expensive to ship. Will never get a sub $50 price for a large cutting board online but you can here. 4) Kitchen utensils, heat proof spatulas, long handled stainless steel soup spoons, slotted spoons; stainless steel serving tongs, thermometers, everthing 1/3 - 1/4 the cost of williams sonoma with more useful design like longer handles for deep stock pots. WS doesn't sell long handled spoons. spatulas, because most home cooks have cheaper small pots and skillets. 5) steamers, they have larger sized bamboo and stainless steel steamers for making dimsum. The Asian markets have a limited selection of steamers and WS or costco will never sell steamers. Designed for Asian cuisine. Steaming much healthier then other forms of cooking. 6) Glassware, they have the larger Picardie, 16oz+ in stock! They don't break. Most RS stores only sell cheaper imitations but they are the same price and the Picardie glasses here and lousy quality. 7) Plastic serverware; they sell larger dimension plastic serving platters; good for parties or home use. The larger ones made of porcelain are too heavy and difficult to store. They only go up to a certain size because of cost. Recently most serverware is more than 100-300 each because of inflation. They see reduced sales because of the increased prices and most places are transitioning to not carrying these higher cost items.
