I was very disappointed with my recent experience at Restaurant Depot. I've shopped here many times using a day pass and have always been able to bring my two children with me. However, during my most recent visit, I was told that because I was using a day pass, no one under 18 years old is allowed to enter. What makes this even more confusing is that they have a waiver posted at the entrance regarding children, but I was told that it doesn't apply to day pass holders--only to members. If that's the case, the policy should be clearly stated so customers don't make the trip only to be turned away. I'm not sure if this is due to new management or a recent policy change, but it's very unfortunate. I understand businesses have the right to change their policies, but clearer communication would save customers a lot of time and frustration. read more

Everytime I go in here I feel like I'm at a swap meet. Looks like store standards don't matter either.

I had such a great experience today that I had to share! The employees were incredibly patient and helpful, and I especially want to shout out my cashier, Christopher. I tend to overthink my purchases, but he was so kind and supportive throughout the process. He even helped me save some money! Christopher truly seemed to enjoy his job and genuinely cared about helping people. If he's not already a manager, he absolutely deserves to be! Thank you to the management team for putting together such an amazing staff. Please give Christopher a raise--he's a star! read more

Fair warning: if you are NOT A MEMBER, you are not allowed to bring in a minor. No where is this stated when walking in, we were told this when walking in with a 5 month old baby in our arms. Came in to find flour storage containers only to be turned away. read more

Never buy the food or marked down price for 25% or 60% off. They are spoiled really bad. I bought a whole slab of brisket, and when I open it sink like rotten. Also bought a whole case of bacon. It was spoiled also. What a dirty business. The policy says no return read more

I love that this place have everything that I need for my small business, however, I'm only here for one thing and one thing only. Only reason why I'm here for that particular item, is because this store is the only store that carries that item. Yes, I would continue to get all my produce, perishables, and other materials from this store but one employee (Cara) throws the whole vibe off with me every time I enter the store. So yes, it takes one person to ruin it for me. I just wish that upper management or whoever is responsible to take their time and walk things through again with Cara and train her once again on customer service and her duties at the register. Here are some examples of why I believe that she needs better training on customer service, (no greetings, never a smile, seems to be very angry most of the time, over scanning items, and just bad communication skills). Please take this into consideration and take the time to re-train Cara. Maybe that'll bring me to get a membership here and bring business to this establishment. read more

Service, everyone was friendly. Prices are very reasonable.. always has great deals.

The employees are helpful and friendly. The prices for things I'm looking for are fair.

November 12, 2023 / Sunday / at 3:17pm Store #665 Manager / Supervisor - was very unprofessional. Name - Ariana, I think, (Hispanic Lady), printed on my receipt. Management is extremely at fault for this experience. Rude Supervisor/ Manager just do not communicate well with its customers, even if you are trying to be professional. I kept my cool down regardless of how I was treated. A misunderstanding on the posted information on the shelf. Poor Customer service is tolerated by its management. Other staffs are extremely nice to its customers, 5 stars for them. But the supervisor bosses them around. I don't have any proof, just experience it for yourself. read more

Got something in the morning and it was the wrong size cups 2oz to be exact and I have to call and exchange for a smaller one 1oz. What makes it easy is that the lady (forgot first name) was able to do an exchange without any hassle read more

I'd like to say the manager, Shelley, is amazingly helpful. I shop often for Instacart in this store, and there has been numerous times I've needed help either finding something, understanding something, and getting an order field. She always provides good service with a smile and I couldn't be more appreciative of her. read more

It's frustrating--there seems to be a new policy every time we visit, and it often feels like they're specifically targeting day pass users. Honestly, it sometimes seems like they're just making things up on the spot. On top of that, the staff tends to be older and not particularly welcoming. read more

Came here for the first time on Tuesday just to check out the seafood and was impressed with the selection and offerings of various types of seafood. We were able to get 4 lbs of mussels and sushi grade tuna for only $40 a pretty good bargain for the amount of seafood we got. When we were checking out one of the bag of mussels wasn't vacuum sealed and the cashier aurora brought it to our attention and informed us on the safety of checking for the bag to see if it was compromised which was super important especially when buying seafood. Overall pleasant experience and would be willing to go back read more

They kicked my son out because I didn't have a membership and said kids are not allowed to come in

The lady at the front desk. So rude. The email that was emailed to me to activate my membership says nothing about "hardcopy". Nothing. She told me the email states that! Nope. Read again lady!! Know your own rules! And then the email says "friendly receptionist" !?! What a lie!! She was not friendly at all. She was rude. No greeting. No smile. She yelled from across the damn store... "do you have a hardcopy"?! I don't understand why people can't be so kind as a person! Not an employee but a person! If you're having a bad day, call in sick! Don't come to work! Great character goes along way! read more

I've been to this location several times before and have never had an issue until today. I do not own a business, but I have always been able to shop here with no problems. Today, I brought my 9-year-old daughter to shop for a big upcoming party and was turned away. No where does it say there are no minors allowed. In addition, I have seen minors in the store before, perhaps around upper elementary or middle school age. Moreover, several people came in at the same time that my daughter and I did, and this Asian lady with glasses at the check out specifically asked me if I had a business membership. I am not sure why she only asked me. Perhaps because I had my daughter with me. Also, she proceeds to tell me that if I am not a member I am not allowed to use a blue cart. This is absurd to me. Does she or the business expect people to carry all their items and make multiple trips? I had planned to buy boxes of 50lb. chicken wings and condiments. Management needs to do a better job at posting these rules somewhere. read more
