A nice place to shop, great deals you will not get out the regular grocery stores, and the owners are nice people. You do have to be careful with some of their items please look at the expired date to make sure that they have not pass. A discount shop for groceriesthis place is not meant to be passed up

$15 total. Prob would've cost at least $40 elsewhere. Half of this stuff is organic, and almost everything else is non-GMO certified.

I used to absolutely love shopping at Grocery Outlet in Oakdale. It was one of my favorite places…read moreto take my kids because there was always a fun selection of toys, gifts, seasonal items, and unique home décor. Walking in and seeing all the seasonal displays at the front of the store made shopping exciting, and I could almost always find something special for birthdays, holidays, or little surprises. Over the past year or so, it feels like the store has changed quite a bit. The kids' section is much smaller, there are fewer home and gift items, and it just doesn't seem to have the same treasure-hunt feeling it once had. I've noticed the selection isn't as unique as it used to be, and several of my mom friends have mentioned the same thing. One friend even stopped shopping there altogether because she felt they no longer carry the kinds of products that made Grocery Outlet so fun and different. Another thing many of us really miss is the monthly receipt drawing they used to do. You could write your name and phone number on your receipt, and at the end of the month they would draw a winner who received a gift card for the amount of their receipt. It was such a fun promotion that got the community excited and made shopping there feel a little more special. People genuinely looked forward to it. When the new owners took over, that promotion disappeared, and it feels like a lot of the little things that made this Grocery Outlet unique disappeared too. The staff has always been friendly, and I truly want to see the store succeed. I just miss the variety, the seasonal displays, the fun promotions, and the family-friendly shopping experience that made it such a special place to visit. It used to feel like every trip was an adventure... now it feels more like just another grocery store. I hope they consider bringing back more of the fun finds, gift items, home décor, toys, seasonal products, and community-focused promotions that so many of us loved.

Ive been a long time customer at this location until recently…read more..... This location is an example of THE NEW OWNERS TOOK OVER AND MADE IT THE WAY THEY WANTED IT . NOW AFTER A " remodel " THE NEW LAYOUT SEEMS INCONSISTENT, random , it seems to have been designed by AI ........ random and inconsistent.... Not enough to make a complete meal you will stop at another store to get the last of your ingredients because this place don't have regular items it has discounted randomly placed ingredients. Kinda like AI MADE SOME FLOOR PLANS UP AND THE NEW OWNERS THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA IDK , after years of shopping here I told myself yesterday this is ridiculous and enough for me to just buy at any other store with a regular floor plan .

Delicious locally made Gouda cheese!…read more We were driving by and caught a glimpse of a sign for a cheese factory but we didn't see it until we passed it. So, we turned around and then, even though looking for it now, we passed it again. This time, after turning around once more, we saw it in time to turn into the driveway. -- They need a more visible sign... Outside, there is a picnic area by a pond and covered porch. There are picnic tables to eat what you will purchase in the store. Inside there is a store with cheese for sale, along with samples so that you can taste the cheese. There are many varieties that are made here. Most are forms of Gouda (pronounced khow-da (with a guttural H sound as the first syllable)). We really enjoyed the Gouda with Fenugreek ($8.47 for a wedge). They can also make a grilled cheese sandwich ($4.50) and a cup of soup ($4.00). We got several kinds of their delicious cheese and consumed it over the next many days of our trip. We live in Los Gatos and were delighted to learn that they sell their cheese at the Sunday Farmers' Market in Mountain View. So after returning home, we phoned them a few days before a Sunday with our order to pick up at the Mountain View Farmers' Market . The advance order is advisable since at the market it is first-come-first-served and you favorites may sell out before you get to their booth. When we got to the Farmers' Market around noon and picked up our order, we were told that it was good that we pre-ordered since several of the cheeses we ordered were already sold out (except for our reserved order).

I can only assume that the owners are very generous and animal loving people. Everything seems so farmhousey and inviting. Although our visit there was brief, I felt renewed and it was one of the highlights of our snow trip. Food (5 stars) + Grilled cheese sandwiches for about $5. Each bite had that Gouda flavor. I got the salami and I thought it's a perfect combination. + Store full of goodies for your pantry and of course Gouda galore Service/Ambiance (5 stars) + One woman was manning the store and she also made our sandwich. Kudos to her! + Facility is so organized and clean. + Serene view of a little pond and the cats make it even more special!
