This store has much more square footage than the other two stores in Modesto. The prices on some items are insanely low! They even list the going price at other stores, along with the price one will pay at the register. It is usually several dollars cheaper per item at the Grocery Outlet. I was here again today & realized that the photo area of Yelp's Business' Listings showed less than 20 photos I believe. I took a count once returning home to get settled in & began to transfer this shops' photography's to my desktop computer... I counted 70 photo's, but I think I may have been downloading them swiftly, unbenounced to me, as I noted some double prints uploaded, which I removed swiftly... And I noticed several photo's didn't download and "stick" to the download area of the Businesses Business Profile... I'll be working on that, here-and-there until I get it corrected but for now, there are plenty of photos showcasing this SUPERIOR DOLLAR TREE Shop Storefront location... I was introduced to this storefront, in late 2018, after I was released from an inpatient stay for greater than 70 days & nights. I was introduced, by my devoted Mother aka: Momma to me, as she's a Penny-Pinching-Queen & has taught me much about how to successfully manage & allocate money/funds/resources... They were charging per tomato rather than per pound. We called Instacart and they refused to pay back the overcharge. We looked back at our orders and noticed this was an issue for over a year of orders. I believe this is an intentional way of stealing from the customers. Beware of any products priced by the pound. Food4less is marking the products per pound price to each, so if a $2.00/pound turns into $2.00 each. What a scam!

BEWARE of FAKE REVIEWS! My two teenagers told me that at…read morecheckout, they are being asked for their phones. My children are kind, polite and follow directions, so they hand over their phones. What's happening is, the checkout clerk is going onto the phone's internet browser and to whatever site, the clerk is posting a review for a positive rating. I called the Dollar General in Ceres in the Richland Shopping Center and supposedly spoke with the Manager. When I explained my concern, all she said was, "Ok" in a demeaning manner. There was no offer of apology. Either way, I am looking to take this to their corporate office, because for one; my children are minors, the fake ratings are FRAUDULENT, and nobody should be taking anybody's phone for liability purposes. My son explained that his friends are also told to hand over their phones. This is not acceptable.
