Very happy with our barn door for our master bathroom. We got a latch for it to lock the door for privacy and added a soft close. The soft close is a really nice extra touch but honestly the door closes fine without it. Candi is easy to work with and contact. Initial plan was that everything will be ready in 8 weeks. But we got our door in 5 weeks. I am looking forward to working with her again in the future to do some wall designs. read more

Look no further than Urban Wall Design!!! I got a few quotes from barn door companies in OC but they were so expensive and the customer service was lacking from the moment I called for a quote. Candi and her husband will absolutely exceed your expectations and design the most perfect custom barn door to fit your home and style. Her doors are handmade with so much love and attention to detail. The process was super easy. Candi came to our house to meet us, measured the space, showed us her past work, allowed us to choose a door style that we loved and gave us all the details on next steps. She kept us informed every step of the way. We also follow her on Instagram so we got to watch her Instastories and see our door being built from start to finish. Side note: follow her on Instagram. She's hilarious and you get a peek inside her fun life! I loved every second working with this girl boss! She gave us other fun ideas to do next in our house so we'll be calling her after summer to help us with some ceiling shiplap. Thanks again Candi! read more

Heres an updated review for everyone wondering about the chargeback outcome and I wanted to address Candi's response. Chase just sent us copies of everything Candi sent them... to make it short: She sent over a "new" invoice that we had never seen - luckily we had kept copies of the actual invoices she sent us. I would say I was surprised, but after our dealings with this girl... I am not in the least. Nothing is beneath her. They also sent over what looked like a warranty/terms and conditions agreement - you guessed it! We never received a copy of that either - good thing she left the date on when it was created on it!!! LOL. If you are going to be dishonest and create false documents - you may want to make sure that the sequence matches (invoice) and you remove the date so that it shows a date before our case started, not after. The truth always comes out. A word of advice to Candi: Next time this happens, and it will - small businesses are always going to have little issues that need attention. Just be honest. Say sorry, and ask what it's going to take to fix the issue. Had you done that from the beginning - we wouldn't be here on social media talking about all this lying, its embarrassing, and totally unnecessary. If you had just fixed the door or refunded our money and responded to our text - we would have been more than satisfied and probably been referring you to the rest of our neighbors. It's not worth it to save a couple of bucks when you are trying to grow your business... you lose integrity, and word of mouth is everything. read more

I was so excited to get our master bedroom wall done. I wish I had done more homework on the companies before choosing Urban Wall Design. I only saw Candi once and that was the initial visit to look at the job and give me an estimate. If I had a question, it would take at least two attempts for me to contact her to get a response. A few months after the wall was installed, the seams started showing. Candi washed her hands of the job once she was paid. I now own a wall with seams down it and no one to fix it. The original painter that painted it won't return my texts. I am extremely unhappy. Customer service is a zero!! Do your homework! Make sure the company you choose stands behind their product. The wall was expensive! I expected much more! read more

Had a custom barn door made for my last home with Candi and couldn't be happier about it! Color of the door fit and function was all top notch! My mom loved it so much and got jealous she order three custom barn door windows for her home! I would recommend to anyone looking for a great feature piece in their home. Transition was smooth from start too finish! I will be ordering a new door once we are settled in our new home. Thanks Candi! read more

Urban Wall Design - Here she is in all her glory! - Door Sales/Installation Near Me - Laguna Hills, California

Candi, owner, was amazing to work with! She came out to our home and made suggestions of what type of barn door would look the the best with our color scheme. We felt like her prices were fair for a fully custom built design. It took her about 2 weeks from the consultation to install. She was very easy to get a hold of during the build time to answer any questions we had. She came on the install day along with her installer, Ralph (who took almost 2 hours to install because he was so precise- he was great!). We absolutely love our door and are so happy we found Urban Wood off of Yelp. I highly recommend Candi and her company! read more

I hired urban walls to check out my new home and give me a suggestion to what I should do. Candi made me feel completely comfortable in being I was new to this and suggested I do an accent wall on my staircase. She helped me pick out a great Quartz and had it up in a day!!!! So impressed how quick she worked and how professional she was. I am already planing on having her do some more work done in my home for future project! All my guest and family love my wall and always comment on it. I have already referred her to 3 clients and they loved her as well! Defiantly a 5 star review and I would recommend urban walls! read more

Urban wall designs made a beautiful door for our office. All was on-time and great craftsmanship.

Contacted Candi while our new home was being built. We gave her the specs measured from the model home, and sure enough, our house was not built to those specs (they relocated an air vent which ended up being in the way of the track for the barn door). The builder did absolutely nothing to help us, but Candi and her installer came through and gave us a beautiful barn door! The husband and I absolutely love it and every time our friends come over, they're in awe at the door! Candi also ended up building us a custom coffee table to match our barn door and it's perfect! read more

These guys are GREAT! Candi built the backdrop for our wedding and it waaaaaaay exceeded our expectations. We gave her a few photos of what we were looking for and she went above and beyond to create a masterpiece! We are currently working out the design for a bed frame and can not wait to see what they come up with! Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I were looking to put a barn door on the entry to our bathroom, we had a specific idea in mind and wanted to make sure we were involved with the design process. After doing a lot of research we found Urban Wall Design. I called and spoke to Candi and immediately I felt like she understood exactly what I was looking to to. She had me send her some pictures of doors that I liked and also wood colors. Once we had decided upon the design I sent her videos of the bedroom so she could make sure that the colors matched. We live in Los Angeles so we are quite far away from Candi so this made it easy for her to see our room and furniture. She kept us updated as she was making progress and we spoke several times to finalize. Candi also did our installation which she did an amazing job at and we are so happy. I highly recommend Urban Wall Design to anyone looking to add a unique touch to their home or space. read more

I absolutely love Urban Wall Design! Candi creates the most beautiful barn doors. I commissioned her for a door in my house and when she showed up for installation it blew me away. I love the rustic look and no one in the Orange County area can recreate that look except for Urban Wall. She spent so much time with me to make sure the color and the look of the door was up to my expectations. I was so happy with my door that I am commissioning her to create a triangle wood installation to sit behind us when we say "I do". I am so excited! I know it is going to look so beautiful for our big day. I highly recommend this company!!! read more

Terrible attitude. Submitted for a quote on their website, followed up with a call and email, a week later, as there was no reply, I called to find out the status and Candy said that she is waiting for a quote (this is a week later). I commented that it must be nice to be in a business so busy that they cannot get a quote back to the customer even a week later, especially during tough economic conditions. She rudely said, we are not good fit and I should go somewhere else for my business and I am known to be a nice and patient person. Candy, if you are having a bad day, don't take it on your customer. Wow...... read more

Got a great deal on a door from Candi as it was a return from another customer. Love the look of the weathered finish she created. Unfortunately the door was crooked and caused issues with the glide. Had to remove the crown molding on the floor on one side of the wall in order for the door to glide across the wall opening. I brought it to her attention and she said the door may have been stored wrong and that I got a killer deal anyway. Wrong Answer Candi!! The door was stored inside flat in a spare bedroom and as I told her .... I would of paid top dollar for an even door! Ironically I have found someone else that bought a crooked door from her and she seem to handle it better. Sadly not my case. read more
