I walk in and the two guys working there are having a conversation, I ask if there are any scarves and I'm told "ya over there and over there" and back to the conversation. Must have been important!! I then ask if there are any holiday sales? "no the price is the price we don't put things on sale for the holidays" and back to the important conversation with the co worker. It looked like they had a lot of nice stuff but the staff didn't seem to care that much. And considering I was the only customer in the store it didn't make much sense? It must have been a really important conversation. I've been here one time, Ryan was outstanding, he knows what he is doing when putting together not only an outfit, but also a business. The concept is beautifully executed: Boutique clothing for men who know that they want to pay proper attention to how they presented themselves. I came here looking for an outfit in which I could interview at a VA Hospital, and I felt that the clothing out did what I needed. And yet, over a glass of wine and conversations ranging from topics such as the television business to the finer points of breweries in the Pacific Northwest, I found myself making personal connections and finding clothing with which I am eminently thrilled. I'm not an easy target for a salesperson. We walked around Village Point and went into some shops and Banana Republic was one of them. This Banana was very clean, and very comfortable to walk around in. We walked in and immediately were greeted by Jerry, our salesman. To say he is knowledgeable about his job is an understatement. He looked at my husband, walked us over to the room of suits, picked the one he thought would work and it fit like a glove. No measuring needed. They offered us a drink and small bites while we shopped, which was such a kind gesture that helped make it feel more like family than a business. My husband completely customized his Samuelsohn suit, they have so many fabric types and Charlie is great about suggesting what patterns and colors to mix. Anything you want to know about good men's clothing, go ask Charlie. The price is high, we paid around $2000 for a 2 piece suit and tie, but for a custom suit (custom lining, name embroidered inside, custom pockets, everything) you should expect to pay more. We certainly got what we paid for, a beautiful custom suit that he can wear for years to come. We can't wait to return!
