As a former merchandise manager for an emcommerce site, I love to see people get a good deal on furniture because I know the margins can be huge! Rush Market has done a good job of cutting prices and displaying beautiful merchandise from overstocked suppliers. For us, we've purchased couches, recliners, rugs, and decor from Rush at both of their locations. All have stood the test of time, despite their low prices. While it's expand a bit and they have an online store, it is good to see stuff in person. It's really hit or miss depending on what you want and when you want it. We've def had struggled getting 4 barstools, matching etc. And of course things I don't need always stand out lol but their rug prices are amazing, highly recommend checking them out, just for that! read more

I supplied merchandise in good faith that was received and sold, yet they have kept the money owed to me for over a year and have shown no intention of paying what's due. BUYER BEWARE - Item not received in stated condition Item not tested and arrived DOA Warranty period enforced for profit Purchased a "like new" condition ceiling fan from their online store. The fan I received was in exceedingly poor, used condition. (See pictures). To their credit once I brought this to their attention and provided pictures, I received a price adjustment. When I installed the ceiling fan it would not operate at all. I worked with the fan manufacturer Monte Carlo to troubleshoot, tried an alternative controller unit they sent out, but after some weeks and several calls, the fan manufacturer concluded it was a Dead On Arrival defective unit. I brought this to Rush market's attention and was told there was nothing they could do for me as I was out of their 30 day warranty period. Their exact quote via email, "we must respectfully stand behind the policy we have in place to ensure we are honoring the same policy for all of our customers as outlined on our website at the time of purchase." In other words it's their policy to uniformly screw over all customers after 30 days. On their website they claim that all units are tested. Either this is not true or they are deliberately shipping known defective units. Bottom Line, I am out my full purchase price and the proud owner of a DOA fan. read more

I love the idea of a furniture store in the Oakview mall but this store wasn't it! The store is even more dead than the rest of the mall and they only give you access to one of the big floors in this building. The building is huge and could have so much potential and honestly if done right could bring more life into the mall. The place is usually beyond understaffed because they have almost no customers and I really can see why there is a lack of customers. Open up the bottom floor,stop selling open box items,allow for returns,keep the store staffed,and market this place better and you could have an amazing store. This is a cool concept- sample sale type furniture at pop-up events throughout the year. Each of the pop-ups have various different themes (like currently it's the end of July and the theme is back to school). Right now they are inside the old bag and save at miracle hills, and I think they plan to call this home for a good while. Items here seem more discounted than NFM, or online retailers like Wayfair or Joss and Main. In fact, the first time I went into the Rush Market, I found the exact same rug as I had recently purchased at wayfair, for -$90 off the price I paid. It's a fun place to browse and they have an ever shifting inventory and a lot of one-of-ones. I normally don't go full-blown Karen... but I feel like this case is completely justified. I recently purchased a dining room table set for around $850 at The Rush Market - Omaha. We purchased a new home and were eager to furnish it with all the great deals at The Rush Market. Fast forward a little over a month... a summer day with a cold cup of water on the table. 30 minutes go by and I lift the glass up and the condensation from the glass left some water on the table. The very small amount of water caused the table to swell and bubble in that short amount of time. I called Friday (8/14) and spoke with a very sweet employee who said we could return it with no issues and that no table should do that. Today, my boyfriend loads the table up to return and we were informed they will not take it because it's damaged (like we took an ax to it instead of it being damaged by a tiny amount of WATER), even though it's within the return time window. I spoke with Brandy (who said she was the owner of the store), and she had zero compassion and pretty much told me tough luck. Brandy must own a dining room table used for decoration purposes only. ‍ The Rush Market will not back up their own products. Their return information is NOT printed on your receipt, on their website, or any social media for a reason. All of their negative reviews mention horrible customer service and horrible quality products. This company is just after a quick buck at the expense of their customers. You literally can not even eat or drink on a DINING room table. ANY other furniture store (or even just Walmart) would happily exchange out a low quality product that did not even do its job. I ordered a chair that arrived with a lot of damage. The back of the chair had two huge gouges in the wood and one of the legs had the veneer missing. This did not happen in the shipping process but obviously it had been packed this way. Did they think this chair was usable? Did they think I wouldn't care? It was trash. I had to pack it, send it back, a huge nuisance, its a big package. Still have not received a refund and I suspect they will charge me for this shipping and restocking. I wouldn't buy online from them again. I live in oregon and ordered a desk to arrive within 2wks. Desk did not come within that time. Tried to cancel shipment several times, but Rush Market never git back to me until after desk finally arrived. Now in order to return desk I have to pay for shipping and will only get back $190 out of the original $460 charged for the desk. I am a single mother with children and feel every dollar counts. OMG...the savings! Sure we have Mrs B's and NFM down on 72nd Street, but having access to quality furniture at super reasonable prices at Oakview Mall is a BLESSING! The styles change, the inventory changes, the one of a kind concept keeps that ball rolling and makes coming in a fun experience every time. I have to give Rush Market credit for having gifted, helpful staff as well. The furniture is set up in tasteful vignettes, and they will gladly dismantle anything if you would like them to...there are times you almost hate to ask them to take away a piece of furniture that fits so perfectly in the display, but mama needs what mama needs. I ordered a swedish bakers rack from their site which said that they sold open box items which had been returned. But they sent me a completely useless broken rack which had been rewrapped which has a broken metal bar which is essential to holding the rack together. You could easily see where it had been broken off. Repairing it would involve straightening out a metal rod and welding it back on to the frame. When I contacted the seller, they requested photos and subsequently refunded the price of the rack but refused to refund the $5 shipping charge, citing a "policy" that prohibits them from doing so. They would pay for return shipping costs for items returned to them; however they did not need the piece of worthless junk they had sold me returned. So apparently my $5 which they are keeping was the cost of doing business with a company that is disreputable enough to send out obviously defective merchandise and hope no one will complain about it. I asked to see one of the items i wanted to purchase before it was delivered and they said that they couldn't let me see it (a policy of some sort) - so instead they delivered it (broken ) and I had to load it back up and being it back in. Waste of time - on both ends. They do take the products back without difficulty but i would not purchase the online items again- and would recommend looking at each piece of furniture carefully. I loved the store! I found an Uttermost armchair (Amazon currently sells it for just over $1000) for only $167! Granted, it had slight staining on it- no doubt that led to the much lower cost, but I think the stain just added to its character. I found another (different but matching) armchair for about a third of the retail cost (when I searched for the same model online). I'm very happy with my purchases. The ones I bought were clearly well made, but at cheaply-made-chair prices. When I am in the market for more furniture, I will definitely go there to see if I can find a steal.
