Not sure I've ever yelped a retail store, but three times is enough for me…read more I'm tall. I wear a size the store carries. Unfortunately, not every shirt is manufactured the same, and small variances exist. I must try on every shirt first. The only place this is a problem is this particular Brooks Brothers location, and only with a gentleman named Ajit. He insists you try on a sample shirt for your size. When you ask to try on the actual shirt you are buying he gets visibly agitated. If you have 2-3 shirts, watch out. It is the craziest thing. Today was my third time with him. I had left one prior time after arguing with him (no purchase), and was saved by another employee the second time (purchase). I bought nothing this time. I asked him why we have to have this conflict every time!?!? I'm done. I told him I'm sorry he has to refold the shirts. What else can it be? I'm not rude about it and try to explain the differences in production. He won't hear it. We don't have a full Brooks Brothers store close by. I can easily pay to have my shirts custom made. I like how well BB shirts fit, and the minor tailoring I need done. So, I'd put up with it. No more. I kept trying this store, hoping I would get an experience at least close to a full store. It's clear to me that will never happen here...and if I have to call the store to see who is working before I come, it is a little silly continue my brand patronage.
