For those looking for clothes that can be dressed up or dressed down for work and casual wear, I highly recommend Athleta. I had gone in looking for some pants for a clinical rotation requiring business casual allowing for movement with patients. I ended up leaving the store with 4 pairs of pants that I absolutely adore. Tara made sure to make me feel confident in my purchase with several different styles, sizes, and colors. It's been a little challenging finding pants as an individual with some curves and changing sizes. Tara did a WONDERFUL job making me feel confident in my body and the clothes I choose to wear. I have nothing but good vibes with the location out at village point and I can't wait to go back for another sale. As athleisure goes, this isn't the most expensive I've seen but they do run occasional sales! This is 100% worth every penny and allows me to move during physical therapy sessions with patients. I decided to visit Athleta for my first time after hearing how some of their pants can work as pants for work. I was immediately greeted upon entering and a friendly salesperson took me to the parts of the store that had these pants. The store looked like it had wide selection of athletic clothing, though I did not browse extensively. In the fitting room, another person was incredibly friendly and helpful, finding me another size as the initial size was too big. What makes their pricey sportswear SO worth it: 1. The staff at this store go above and beyond to make sure you get everything you need from grabbing you certain sizes and styles, to ordering items they don't have in stock online for you (with free 3-5 day shipping if you spend over $50). Allie specifically went out of her way to provide me with premier customer service during my last visit. 2. They have a great rewards program (including their sister stores: gap, banana republic + athleta) (that doesn't send you 63882529 emails - only 1 per month with your point balance) so you can rack up points with every purchase and get coupons for $$ off your next purchase. 3. Although Athleta may be pricey for lounge/sports wear (around $90 for a pair of leggings full price) they often have LOTS of sale items and if you do pay full price, it's truly worth every penny because their clothing is quality and will last years before it starts to pill or show signs of wear and tear. Also, their prices are more competitive than their competitor, Lululemon. 4. This brand is more than just the clothing; it supports important causes too. Two examples: Athleta supports an amazing girl power-type campaign called "The Power of She" that enhances body positivity and unites women and girls everywhere with a shared pledge of sisterhood. The other day I had noticed that they got some really great colors in and wanted to try a few items on. I got helped right away from the new store manager who was so very kind and another lady who was also very helpful. This was my first time purchasing from Athleta and the associates all knew how things fit and gave very honest opinions once I had tried the clothes on. I didn't feel rushed or overly approached. Although Athleta is a bit pricey, the brand offers such a variety of items and often has sales, so it is worth checking out from time to time. Shipping is always free and often there are free 2-day shipping coupons. I am in Omaha for a few days visiting family so I came over to Village Pointe tonight to enjoy the amazing weather and walk around the shops. Previously, I struggled to fit into any workout tops and swimwear at Athleta, sticking to pants, capris, and jackets. However, tonight I had a turnaround - I found a swim top that made me feel sexy and confident enough to wear a 2 piece, and I also found a really cute workout top without the dreaded built-in bra, and it fit me in a size lower than I expected! I left floating on a cloud with my new purchases and cannot wait to sport these soon. The staff is very friendly here and it is fun to browse a store that has swim, exercise, lounge, travel, and general clothing options. Athleta is owned by Gap. read more

Some of the store associates are exceptionally nice. However, the employees are poorly trained. They will not give you truthful answers as to how to order or anything dealing with rewards or other accounts. Also returns are extremely difficult. read more

The clothing is a little pricey. But I have been doing yoga for 6 months and the difference between Athleta leggings and cheaper ones is HUGE. It's worth paying a little extra. Plus it is very easy to wash compared to lululemon's leggings. read more

On 9/10/17 I had my first, and last, experience with Athleta. I am an active early-thirties woman and always in search of quality athletic gear. Price is relatively important to me; I would spend more than $100 on quality running compression tights. Atheta was strongly recommended to me by a close friend and my sister. My sister gave me a pair of capris for Christmas, and a GC for my birthday. The location in Omaha is not convenient, so I went to Village Pointe solely to visit Athleta. I was excited because of the recommendations. I like compression tights, because I don't like it when my legs jiggle. I heard they have excellent customer service-they would exchange workout pants for the full price if you were unsatisfied with the fit and workout for any reason. My friend exchanged running pants more than a year after purchasing them without issue. I shop at higher-end retailers for this type of service. I had similar experiences at Burberry, Coach, Tiffany and Louis Vuitton. Imagine my surprise when I visited Athleta to exchange the pants my sister gave me for Christmas, and the employee helping me told me they could only give me in store credit of $32.09! The pants were originally $79.00. She tried to sell it as a positive thing that she was giving me less than half of the purchase price. At the time I entered the store, I believed the gift receipt was in the zippered pocket, along with the tags. I never wore the pants for a workout. I only tried on the pants once, and realized that they were too big. I explained this to the employee, that is when she told me she would give me the "final sale pricing". Essentially, I have lied, that I had worked out in the pants and was dissatisfied with them. Silly me, for being honest. I told the employee that this was my first experience with the brand, and that I did not know much about Athleta. I did not know what I was looking for, so, I did not know how to answer: "What can I help you find?" I told her I wanted compression running tights, and that I would like winter lined running tights. She said that they have not received any "winter inventory" because it was too early in the season. So, I asked for the most compressive running tight they had. I'm not sure what pant it was, because to be honest, I wasn't looking at the tags for information other than price. They were $98.00. When I tried them on, I expected them to be difficult to put on because they are supposed to be compression tights; they were not difficult to get on, at all. In fact, they were easier to get on than Under Armour's compression tights. (Note: UA's compression tights are $54.00 for the winter lined version). I was disappointed in Athleta's "compression" tights. I workout often and run out of sports bras. I am not "well endowed." Again, I do not like jiggle, of any kind, when I work out. I figured that I was in a women's athletic specialty store, and that their sports bras should be better quality than other retail stores. I quickly learned that was not accurate. I asked for the highest support Athleta had in their sports bras, and tried on 4 different styles. Of those, only one had potential-the Gigi. The bras are priced $69-$79. I would have gladly paid the price if the bras fit. The other styles I tried on were supposed to be high support for cup sizes B-H; not sure how that works. When I tried on the style allegedly for cup sizes B-H, it fit around the band, but the cup area was loose and gappy. (Note:I wear a 32D/34C.) The Gigi style, this style has the necessary support; but, it did not fit over my shoulders. Seeing the irony here, Athleta is a women's athletic specialty store-their target demographic is an active woman, dare I say an athletic woman? I have been told that I have an athletic build, because of that I might have broader shoulders than other women, but no so broad that bras don't fit. I wear a size small shirt; there is no explanation for why Athleta's 32D did not fit. I was frustrated with with their bras. Other than workout pants and sports bras, there is not I need for workouts. At this point in my experience at Athleta, I was stuck. I had a gift card and in-store credit. Obviously, I had to spend the money at the store. I found one sweatshirt that I decided to try on. It costs $79. I liked it, so I bought it. Remember, I had asked for winter lined running tights and the employee said they had no winter inventory? I asked about sweatshirts, she told me about a new one from the winter training line! I could do nothing but roll my eyes at this juncture. How can you say you don't have winter inventory, then 15mins later tell me this is from the new winter line. I like the sweatshirt and paid $84 for the shirt (after tax), I will not recommend Athleta and will not go back. Please draw your own conclusions about my review, and make whatever justifications you want; for me there is, no excuse for the substandard customer service and deficient product for a specialty store. read more

Went here for the first time looking for quality sports wear and the first time I wore a sports bra I purchased from there, I freaked out in the mall because I forgot I was even wearing a bra. Super comfortable leisure wear and very supportive for the active stuff! I'm excited to visit again and check out more of the selection. read more

I was so excited to visit this store and yet, my experience was lacking. Unfriendly, unwelcoming. Answers to questions were unfriendly. Why would I spend extra money to shop at a place that feels like a Lululemon knock-off? It's looks and feels like Lululemon without the customer service. Two thumbs down.
