Chicken Pita after already eating 3 pieces of chicken!
Allegra A.

I did not experience unfriendly service or bad food as others have mentioned. In fact I very much enjoyed the chicken pita with fries. Have realistic expectations that it's airport food and not an award winning Mediterranean restaurant and you won't be disappointed. Generous portions and reasonable prices given the airport. Located in terminal 5 food court area.

I want a refund!

I spent $37 for two pitas and found out AFTER I ordered that they were out of hummus!! Hummus comes standard on all of the pitas, it says so on the menu. This woman in the photo needs to be fired! She doesn't speak English at all well enough to be taking orders and is stupid and lazy! She had multiple opportunities to tell me there was no hummus, and we would have ordered something else! My daughter wanted no cucumber salad and no tzatziki sauce on hers, and I kept repeating, "but she DOES want hummus." Then a few minutes later they asked again and I clarified again "no cucumber salad or Tzatziki sauce but yes hummus. I talked slowly and repeated so she could understand. Then she said something on another language to the other lady making it. My daughter's pita sat there with just tomatoes on it and I asked why there was no hummus on it and THEN they said they didn't have any! I told her she should have told me that. The man in the photo came out and asked what was wrong and I told him that she didn't tell us there was no hummus and he offered to put chickpeas in. I said yes I definitely want chickpeas then on mine. There were NO CHICKPEAS! Also THERE is no cucumber salad, which I very clearly said I wanted!!! I got a plain, dry pita, with an inch of mushy vegetable mix, and that was it! How can you screw up BOTH sandwiches?? Also, the vegetable mix either has way too much salt in it today, or they sabotaged mine and dumped a ton of salt on it. It was absolutely inedible! Not a little too salty. Like absolutely inedible. I had to throw it away! So for $37 I ate dry bread and French fries heading into a 9 hour ordeal where food will be closed at my next layover. Of course, we had walked 10 minutes to our gate before sitting down to eat and there was nothing we could do. This place and its people ripped me off and should be punished for their incompetence and abhorrent customer service!. I want a refund!!! Look at my receipt and take it outing their paychecks!

Yucky steak pita with fries

This was the worse airport food, I have ever eaten. I really did not eat just tasted it. Sounded good steak pita, fries, hummus, taatziki and cucumber salad. Steak was cold tough and tasteless. Fries greasy and pita was old crumbled and cold. It look like some one threw up on my plate. For the $17.00 one of the worse meals I could not eat. Asked the man behind counter and was told that it is what it is. Gave one point for the taatziki sauce had some flavor. O'Hara in Chicago how just about some of your famous pizza ? So few food choices with Wow Bao staying closed at lunch. Line around building for 51 only full service.

Very small menu and not much for salad options. Wanted the Mediterranean salad but once I saw the old wilted nasty looking leaves and browned up cauliflower and unidentifiable brown stuff that the staff couldn't tell what it was either, I told him to scratch the Mediterranean and get me the Greek since the romaine lettuce at least looked a bit more lively than the wilted and left out too long Mediterranean salad. The tomatoes are huge chunks, not bite sized, forgot and didn't think I would need a knife. Ate the tomato like an big Apple slice. The herb feta tastes decent and some of the yellow peppers were fresh and tasty, some were older and darker in color and didn't have the fresh bite of the brighter yellow peppers. At least the romaine lettuce looked crisp and green, much more so than their Mediterranean salad. Their plated display dishes looked old and nasty and doesn't nothing to make any of their dishes look appetizing at all.

Unfriendly staff. I ordered a falafel platter with French fries. The guy at the register tried to charge an extra $2.00 for rice that I didn't even order. When I told him that i had the wrong total he played it down. I asked the staff if they could fill up my water bottle. The guy just looked at me and pointed into the direction of the restroom. The food was ok.. tasting. Wouldn't go back.

Recently, I moved up to a plate because the portions in the bowl seemed to have gotten smaller. Now the portions of the plate have gotten ridiculous. Just shy of $17 for rice and couscous, cucumber, red, cabbage, and hardly any meat! $17 for a whole lot of water from vegetables and rice. How greedy does a place have to be? I know things are getting expensive but when you shrink the portions and raise the prices, you're just begging for people to just stop spending their money there. And like I said, it all depends on who's serving you. This meal is worth $13 - $14 at best total after taxes for what you get!

I would definitely still go back to try some other stuff in the menu. But definitely will have to try the meat kabob instead of the shawarmas next time. Happy eating!

The staff is warm and welcoming, and we were seated quickly upon arriving. Love the ambiance! It is very cozy and inviting. We were served a complimentary appetizer: pita bread strips, pickled veggies, and what I believe to be an eggplant dip. We also ordered the Bawadi wing appetizer. It was delicious, and those wings! It came with a sauce, but I cannot comment on that because none of us tried it. The wings by themselves are delicious! My friends both ordered the lamb chops, and I ordered the Al Bawadi mixed grill with hummus and bread. Everything was good, and the portions are generous. The meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned well. We all enjoyed our meals. We plan on coming back in the Fall to celebrate another birthday. The meal was served family style so don't go when you're not hungry. I loved it all! It was amazing to share a meal family style, make new friends, and eat really delicious food. I'll definitely go back and bring friends to this great venue. The party room was more than enough space for our in group and when I got done I shopped for a kosher candy bar in the adjacent grocery store! I looked them all up and was pleased with so many amazing options and started to kick off our weekend of fun at Mizrahi Grill. We placed our orders and then waited at a table for them to bring us our food. While they were super friendly, it wasn't the fastest service and we were waiting for quite a while. Finally i went up to confirm they were working on our order and it appeared a few minutes later. It was worth the wait because we all agreed it was delicious! I had ordered a kebab sandwich on a laffa, which was stuffed with israeli salad, hummus, tehina, pickles and french fries (the best part). It was all so tasty, especially the laffa which i'm pretty sure they make in house. It was also ginormous. I ended up taking half home and eating it for dinner. The rest of my party enjoyed their sandwiches as much as I did. Before leaving we shopped for some treats at the market, including a $20 dubai chocolate bar that my kids have been dying to try thanks to tiktok. They split it for dessert later that evening and all 3 of them agreed it lived up to the hype. This is a great food option if looking for kosher food...or if you just want really tasty food!

I had the Beef Shawarma Plate, falafels, and lentil soup. Ordering at the counter was easy. The shawarma plate comes with rice, house salad, hummus, red cabbage, pickles, and tahini sauce which is great. There are other possible sauce and topping additions or substitutions, but I went with those. It was delicious and filling. The lentil soup was tasty and freshly made, and the falafels had the perfect balance of crunch and softness. I took half of those home with me. Although size prevents it from being a complete dine-in experience, I was quite comfortable eating at one of the small tables available for those eating there. A gentleman who worked at the 7-11 in the same plaza, stopped in to eat as well. He had a tasty looking wrap. The guys behind the counter spoke back and forth with him, so it was obvious that he is a regular customer. It's nice that he can grab a nice, quality lunch so nearby his workplace. The service was quick, the food terrific, and the prices reasonable. I highly recommend.
