From the minute I sat down, she had an attitude. Like I was inconveniencing her by being there. She rushed the fill and filed my nails so aggressively that I just sat there in disbelief. Then at the end, I saw here barely wipe the cuticle cutters and put them back in her drawer. At that moment I realized that she never took clean tools out of the sanitizing box thingie. She was using tools that she used on previous customers. Nasty. When I mentioned it when paying, he just said 'have a nice day'. Maria is the owner and takes running her salon seriously. She is often there when I get my hair cut and is overseeing all that goes on there, and cuts hair as well. Michelle, has been my hairdresser for years. I have had a couple of hair styles and color changes, and have been satisfied with each one (Not easy to find someone like that). There is a steam room in the bathroom and that is where it ends. It is a lovely steam room and but I wish they would invest in updating the facility with a sauna and hot tub to add value. There is a relaxation room which has a nice view of ocean (with some parking lot) but it would be nice to have more wellness options when you're having a $200-$600 spa afternoon. Actual services: 4-5 stars The folks providing the services are professional and hardworking. I went with a large group and everyone was pleased with their services.
