However, around this time of year every year, my wife and I try to think of new ways to be better and healthier into the new year. when she booked me a massage and sauna appointment and told me to show up here at 1 PM today, I was pleasantly surprised! upon walking in I would've never known there was all of this in such a quaint building. It really is a relaxation spa at its finest. The massage was one of a kind and probably the best Therapist I've had in this area. She ran over my our 1 hr window because she noticed a few areas that needed just a little extra work. This is something that never really happens in all the massages that I've had. She spent time discussing problem areas and giving me methods of Treatment to continue at home. She even mentioned shoulder issues that she noticed my body flinching and recommended reaching out to a physical therapist, which is something I'll be looking into in 2025. Upon wrapping up the massage she brought me for a quick tour of the facility and again I was shocked by everything they had to offer. This massage included a 30 minute sunlighten infrared sauna session. I do not have much experience with sauna however this was quite the experience and I look forward to many more sauna sessions as we look forward to a healthier 2025. I cannot recommend this spot enough and I look forward to more appointments in the very near future. If you haven't booked an appointment for a massage and/ or are simply looking for a new therapist. Unfortunately, in the Charlestown/Westerly area Yelp hasn't really taken off on anything but restaurants, and even that's debatable. So, I finally stumbled on some older reviews on FourSquare and decided to make an appointment with Paula. Paula is great! She's super friendly and makes you feel very comfortable during a situation which could be considered rather awkward. This wasn't my first Brazilian, however I can see how Paula would be great at helping you feel comfortable and walking you through the process if you are debating getting your first. I was also happy to find out that by rebooking (she suggests every 3 weeks) you're entitled to a reduced rate since it's considered maintenance versus a full on Brazilian. (I do enjoy saving money, however I also know not to go cheapo when it comes to Brazilians. My first experience was horrific, but I guess that's what I get for going to a salon that only charges $29...) I've already booked my next appointment with Paula and highly recommend you do the same!

Within my first visit to Jacki she was able to create immediate relief in my neck, shoulders, and back/spine to a degree I had never felt from those other interventions. Not only that but it lasted well beyond my FIRST appointment with her - about 2 weeks, with no other interventions during that time. She also had knowledge I've never learned in all this time of trying to get pain relief and had some simple suggestions I could easily incorporate that no other practitioner/therapist/specialist had ever mentioned to me before that had immediate positive results in relation to my pain.
