I have been a loyal customer of Ashleigh's for many years now. I was thrilled when I found out she did hair and makeup (airbrush) for weddings and was available for my winter wedding 12/12/21. She arrived promptly at 7am to start working on my bridal party and kept on schedule so we were done on time to start getting dressed and taking pictures. In total she did 5 hairstyles and 4 girls for makeup. We tweaked a few things from my trial and ended up with exactly what I was looking for - a winter mermaid bride. My bridal party also looked stunning and we all photographed so well! Ashleigh is a true artist and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her whether it's for your every day hair appointment (cut, color, etc) or for your wedding day. Salon Sante moved to a new location in Wakefield a year or so ago. I have difficult hair to cut but have been a happy customer now for a little over ten years, and have been going to the same stylist (Keri) for almost the entire time. Part of the reason for the salon's success is the the owner, Keri, treats her stylists well by providing them with benefits like partially paid for health insurance which is a rarity in the salon business. If you treat your employees well, you will have great employees who will treat their clients well. read more

I brought in a photo of me (not a super model, expecting to look like one after) with the haircut I wanted. I have very curly hair and it gets bushy when all at one length. The stylist had curly hair in a nice cut so I trusted her. I've waited a couple of months after the cut to see if it would grow out better, but no. I brought in a photo of a loose shag, lots of layers and angles from my face. I ended up with a Roseann Rosannadanna. read more

Erin is smart, sassy and stylish...and so is my hair now that she has wielded her magic scissors, paintbrush and power tools on it. I have been growing my hair out and it looked droopy and bland, despite a recent cut back home in California. Erin knew what it needed and I wanted even if I didn't...I love the cut and the color and you will love yours too if you put yourself in her hands. My cousin just got married this past weekend in Narragansett at Point Judith, and she chose this place to get her hair done. We did a test run for her earlier in the week and everyone was pleasant and accomodating to what she wanted. Her hair came out great the day of, but the bridesmaid's (her sister and me) weren't so happy. We ended up taking parts of it out and having someone at home fixing it. My cousin hated the Laura Ingels braids in the front, and I had explained that I wanted a loose bun. What I got was a slicked back prom bun. Although the staff is great to talk to, their work is so so. Next time I'd be more picky. read more

Lucille C. Manhattan, NY 6/20/2012 Salon Sante is one of the BEST salon's in the Rhode Island area. My daughter recently married a gentleman from RI and we selected Newport as the reception venue. Although my daughter was excited about Newport and the wonderful landscape, she was worried about being 400 miles away from her favorite hair salon. My daughter's mother-in-law recommended Salon Sante for makeup and hair and it was one of the BEST recommendations for hair, makeup and pre-wedding jitters! We arrived at the Salon at 7:00a.m. on a Saturday morning. We were all sluggish from the night before, however the Salon had fresh muffins, juice and coffee waiting for us. Champagne was also on ice! My younger daughter was worried about the makeup session as she has very oily skin. The artist, Cherella, did a wonderful job with the cosmetics. She not only listened to our preferences, but also gave us a mini-lesson on makeup application! We all loved the makeup and it stayed on until 11:00 PM. in the evening. In fact, we purchased the wonderful creme blush in Hyacinth (stays on all day isn't oily and is brightening) and the mascara. In terms of the hair styles, my daughter left the Salon looking like an absolute princess. Her hair looked exactly like the photo she shared with her stylist! It was amazing. The entire bridal party and I were also pleased with our hair styles. We were all shocked that the styles stayed in place throughout the wedding night. Last week I called the Salon and asked to speak to the manager to thank her for the services. The owner of the Salon thanked ME for sharing our special day with her and her staff members.
