The space: The space is conveniently located, but immediately upon entering my husband asked if I was sure I wanted to get my hair cut there (and our kids), but I couldn't imagine just walking straight out as we were the only people there. It is an uninspired place, full of beige, completely empty except the one hair dresser. There are little chotchskies around, a drop ceiling, and large overstuffed leather couches. The music was good but cut out halfway through leaving us mostly in silence. The cut I thought it was ok in the chair and when she dried it. I also wasn't too concerned bc longer hair can hide a lot, it doesn't have to be perfect, just some basic layering skills. However when I got home my husband pointed out that on me and my son there are places where it's just chopped straight and not graded. After a day or two when I washed and restyled it, it just kept looking like a 90's suburban cut the way it would flip inward. The service: She was very nice and affordable, but conversation was tough. Even though I prefer to not talk much in the chair, it felt sort of lonely and uncomfortable. When I came home both my mother and husband (separately), and kind of looked at me and paused and said, "yeah, it's not bad." She may have offered to refund me if I had asked but I didn't want to fool with it on my vacation or possibly have her try to fix it. So I paid another $80 to go down the street and got an amazing cut after. The stylist there combed out my hair and said "what is this?!" I said I didn't know and so he took a picture and showed me the very uneven layering job. The picture isn't great, but you can see. I really hate to leave this review and negatively affect the nice lady that runs this place but hopefully it's helpful in some way.
