It was very busy, so we were able to just put our name on the list and they called our room when a table was ready. Food was decent. This is the closest gateway town to the Eastern entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It's a good hour drive west to the gate with not a lot in between, so be sure to gas up in town. Can honestly say it was as close to perfect as possible. If I had to critique the small things, a bit more water pressure in shower, a soft topper on bed, distracting smoke detector flashing light. My stay was super quiet, that's always welcome. The coffee was surprisingly good, not like other hotels. The breakfast food was well presented and looked appetizing. This will be my hotel if I should visit Cody again.

Although we had our own little patio we chose to use the bigger and more public patio in the back of the house. Robin and Bob were both very welcoming and filled with knowledge (that they shared) about the area. The stay included 3 dogs that were very friendly and fun to be around. The breakfasts were great! One morning we had eggs, they were steamed and perfect. We also had sausage patties, homemade gingerbread muffins, fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee. Everything was very well presented and served. We were offered a couple of muffins for the road. On the morning that we had to leave early to go horseback riding Robin made us breakfast burritos for the road. They were very good. This is probably the best place to stay while in Cody.
