The owners are amazing, genuinely warm and kind people. There was no awkwardness that there sometimes is-- I felt like we were staying at my aunt and uncle's place. I find myself actually longing for an excuse to go back to Cody (I was there on business with a colleague) so I can stay here again. The B&B itself is completely refurbished-- everything is new and clean and nice. The rooms don't have individual bathrooms, but there's a shared one down the hall that is very nice. It's not a huge place (4 rooms), so you're not competing with a lot of people for bathroom space. And best part is, you're walking distance from downtown Cody. Breakfast... let's discuss BREAKFAST. There are so many B&Bs where breakfast is a small, modest affair. Not here. Despite the fact that we had a 7:30 am flight and would be leaving for the airport at 6:30 am, Sondra INSISTED that she would be up to make us breakfast. I can't remember it all now, but it felt like there were umpteen courses.... fresh fruit, fresh waffles, baked goods, etc. All home cooked and all delicious. And then a week or so after we stayed there, they sent us each a postcard, thanking us for our stay and asking us to come back the next time we found ourselves in Cody. Which is exactly what I'm planning to do.

The Old Faithful room used to be the garage so it had it's own little driveway and patio..........it was just perfect and it was a bit more private than the other rooms. Although we had our own little patio we chose to use the bigger and more public patio in the back of the house. It was overrun with flowers and birds.....our stay was just a little noisy with all the birds, but it was amazing. Robin and Bob were both very welcoming and filled with knowledge (that they shared) about the area. The stay included 3 dogs that were very friendly and fun to be around. The breakfasts were great! One morning we had eggs, they were steamed and perfect. We also had sausage patties, homemade gingerbread muffins, fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee. Everything was very well presented and served. We were offered a couple of muffins for the road. On the morning that we had to leave early to go horseback riding Robin made us breakfast burritos for the road. They were very good. This is probably the best place to stay while in Cody. The price was right, the location was great and it was very clean and comfortable.

We actually stayed up late talking to the owner about life. It was one of those nights that you'll remember forever. :) The rooms are extremely clean, the house is SO quaint. The garden is spectacular. And, maybe the best part? They have 3 amazing dogs who were my besties for the weekend: Sophie, Ginger and Coco. I was in LOVE with them. Honestly? If you're going to Yellowstone, why would you stay at a hotel? The Robin;s Nest is the same rate or cheaper, and you get an incredible breakfast in the morning. Speaking of breakfast.... I'm still trying to figure out what was in those pancakes because I was in pancake heaven. We will definitely be back here!

My wife and I brought our three teenagers and stayed in the room with a comfortable queen bed, bunk beds and a comfy pull out sofa. Room was very clean, had its own tv, large bathroom with a double sink and a large shower. Room has its own out door access n parking that was very convenient. The cabin is basically a hunters paradise with some of the wildest taxidermy (including the 4 bears) I've laid eyes on. Our hosts George took great care of us, making a unique breakfast all 3 days we were there. Coffee was on every morning before I woke which was not quite early enough to see the 530am sun rise but not much after. The breakfast's were served with care and accompanied with amazing views each morning. We ended up enjoying George's company as much as we enjoyed our vacation of Wyoming. We saw as much wild life around the bnb as in the nearby parks, including dear, antelope, and elk. Definitely planning a return trip!

And a beautiful neighborhood it is (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jakeys-fork-homestead-bed-and-breakfast-dubois?select=cdxVgsY55c2Vsi86mS07gg#cdxVgsY55c2Vsi86mS07gg). I'd come here even it weren't close to the Tetons or the Wind Rivers, simply because of Louise Lake, which one of those picturesque and slightly remote locations that tell you, yes, you're in Wyoming, and yes, it is this scenic in real life, too (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jakeys-fork-homestead-bed-and-breakfast-dubois?select=cdxVgsY55c2Vsi86mS07gg#N357UsP_mWPjj7n0U5RgVg). But the location doesn't speak for itself. Carolyn does that, based on years of NOLS backcountry guiding and decades of Wyoming homesteading with her daughters. She's one of those pathfinding polymaths for whom running a B&B is simply one act of many. But it's a really virtuoso performance, and while her clientele may be select, they are immensely appreciative of the red-carpet welcome she offers. And if the red carpet isn't enough, ask for the USGS map of Louise Lake and the walking guide to the petroglyphs. Your tired feet will thank you, in the sauna, afterward.

Our trip to Montana was amazing, and the first evening started with stay here. Ms Nance and Richard are such warm hosts. At breakfast they are a fountain of information about Gardiner and the Park. Breakfast was a wide array of delicious choices, and Ms Nance is quick to adapt to your tastes if you stayed multiple nights. But Pro-Tip, tell her ahead of time if you have a particular want. We had a private room with a bathroom. It was very comfortable and warm. Especially considering it was below zero at the time. They also leave out tea and snacks downstairs, so We enjoyed a cup of hot tea as we warmed up from our walk. Location! This wonderful home couldn't be closer to the park entrance. As well, they are walking distance to the local restaurants. It was the start of winter so I didn't get a chance to take advantage of fly fishing, but Richard owns Parks Fly Shop, just around the corner. Book a stay here! You will love it!
