Each of the hair dressers have at least 10 years experience. All are super friendly! I go there for hair cuts and coloring my entire head. Costs around $80 for both + tip. They do a solid job every time. Keep in mind that they only accept cash and that the parking lot is a little small but when I go on weekdays I don't have an issue. read more

The only positive from this salon was their price. My hair length is a little over the shoulder, got a full hair trim, and spent only $20 not including tip. They're walk in only (red flag #1). I prefer booking in advance so I can plan my day accordingly. Then my hairdresser spoke to me in Vietnamese, and when I didn't understand she asked me why my mother didn't teach me Viet (red flag #2). Ma'am my mom didn't teach me Viet because she can't speak it herself haha. I can speak my mother tongue well enough if that's your concern. I showed her a picture and asked for curtain bangs. I liked the light effortless look to it and requested that. The bangs I ended up with was too thick and rigid in shape. I asked her to make it thinner. The owner then said something in Viet and my hairdresser scolded me, saying "I tried telling you this was thin enough but you asked for your bangs to be even thinner". I assumed she didn't want to take the blame so she had to show that I was the one who requested it to save face (red flag #3). Overall, I didn't like the cut, didn't like the service. Even bought a hair growth serum so I could go to another salon to quickly fix it. read more

She said to ask for a lady named Hue. It was easy to make the appointment. I read the reviews online and figured it was worth the try! What I liked most about this place, that it's family oriented, they practice social distancing, everyone wears a mask , and very affordable! Every time I needed a haircut for an important life event (wedding, interview, photo shoot) I always come here since it's so close to my home. The lines here are never too long. I went to this salon hoping for a fresh look. It was not my first time getting a haircut there. Prior to covid, stylists took their time regardless of the service you requested. They are experienced and they can do a good job if they want to. However, something happened during covid. Now, if you are just going there for a haircut, don't expect too much out of the style you'll get. The quality of the service you received is proportional to the price of the service you requested. The less you are willing to spend, the less attention you haircut style will receive. Once you realize your disappointment, you may end up spending more money at another salon to fix whatever cheap service you received. I refuse to get my hair cut anywhere else other than uptight! Prior to meeting Lucy, all the barbers I had gave me the same typical undercut, but the people here really know what they're doing. Hue is literally the best lady to go to for your hair color needs. I had black (kind of) virgin hair. I dyed it 8 years ago but basically it's been a while. And she made my hair a beautiful ash Smokey blonde. She did it in 5 hours! She was so patient and kind with me. Thanks to her it turned out beautifully. Came here for a hair wash and haircut for myself and a haircut for my brother. Brother wasn't satisfied at all because I had asked the lady for a line up and fade for him and she literally just shaved his head and lined him up with no fade at all and I even showed her a couple of pics on google for reference and when I saw his hair I was like wtf??? As for me, my hair wash was so rough. It felt like she was literally about to rip my scalp off from scratching so hard. I don't know about other salons but I think most salons usually give you a little massage to make your head feel good but I felt like my head was about to come off lol. My haircut was alright; I noticed it was uneven when I got home and I didn't bother going back to fix it so I just cut it at home. Since I moved nearby, I've been in twice and got Lee for a haircut. Her speed is probably a bit above-average for the typical Asian stylist, in my experience, especially for the sides & blend/fade. If you get a shampoo, it's pretty awesome but remind her if her nails start becoming too much during the longer conditioner massage... zZzz.... She also is mindful of the hair effort. I.e., my 2nd trip, I left the top alone and she deducted $2 from the base price. Not many folks do that, I think. It's a fairly decent shop. It's been around but also is quite nice for what it is, actually. The shampoo station is closer up front than other places so a bit more noise. There's a few chairs, a TV on/off and parking in the small lot or the back street. Note: The early week it's pretty slow she said but come Friday-Saturday, they can literally be slammed (she said people would sit around the workstations o_O). read more

I've always gone to this salon and there were some times when my haircut turned out nice.. years ago. The problem is, they only cut it the way they want or the way they know HOW to. The last 2 times that I went there, I wanted an A line cut and the both times, they cut it STRAIGHT across and all the way up to my chin when I wanted it just above the shoulder. The 2 times, I noticed they made an accident and the second lady said my hair was "too thick". I have very fine hair.. it's just the way the other lady cut it the first time. Didn't they go to school for this? I couldn't complain because they looked very irritated at me for reminding them how I wanted my hair. And for my sister, she wanted her hair shorter so the lady went so short that she looked bald inside and just a thin layer of hair on the outside covering the gigantic bald looking spot... just what the hell you guys... read more

Came here for a balayage again a year after I get my first balayage in my life. I hair grew a lot so I wanted to touch up to the root with the same balayage. She did not ask me anything about my hair condition and barely looked into my hair carefully but I trusted her since she is the hair designer and I am not. That was a horrible mistake. After she bleached and shampoo my hair, I came back to my seat and saw some kind of jelly strings around my shoulder. I started to comb my hair with fingers and realized that was my hair and I started to freak out. Everytime I comb it, my hair was falling down literally like some jelly..... I exactly asked her I just want to bleach the part I havent done for a year but she put chemicals on the bottom part which they bleached last year the only time in my life. Her excuse was "sometimes it just can accidentally go all over". The worst thing was that another hair designer I have never met before and didnt even look at my hair since I got there came to me and started to argue with me. She said if I bleach my hair a few times(which is wrong, it was my second time at that hair salon and I never bleached my hair other than this place) it can happen. I do believe it is their responsibility to figure out those side effects after they do the service on customers hair. I think I need to cut over half of my hair to remove that melted hair out. Think carefully if you want to bleach/color your hair at this place. They will not check your hair condition and put the chemical cream for a long time until the hair is melted away and blame your hair about that. read more
