This is my designated UPS place,so they know me and my routine as soon as I come in and the light banter is always appreciated! I mainly go here to process packages for work, but also I like the personalities of the staff here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful ( need multiple receipts? just ask, nicely ). This is the distribution warehouse, so once the packages are dropped they are sorted and loaded into the trucks. This also means they don't provide retail services like printing and amazon returns stuff. ( NOTE April 2020: the staff is still working normally, but PLEASE follow the signs posted and keep a 6 feet distance within the receiving room, UPS staff are doing the best they can, the computers are stationary, so customers need to be aware and work around them as best you can. ) read more

This is for UPS in general, but it's been incredibly frustrating waiting on delivery of a package that should have arrived days ago. It was set on the delivery truck all day yesterday (Saturday) with initial expected delivery from 2pm to 6pm, so I made sure to be home at that time, only for 6pm to pass and the status get updated to be delivered by 9pm...sure enough, 9pm passes and nothing, and now my status says I will be updated "as soon as possible". Since it's Sunday I can't reach a human on the phone and their website is this circular nonsense that isn't helpful at all. I highly doubt UPS has anyone monitor this page but just posting to vent. read more

If I could give absolutely no stars I would. Ups deliver how they want when they want, personally I'm a truck driver so I already know what it takes to do the job. They don't come by my apartment complex at all and just say the package was undeliverable even while your right at home. I paid for a certain day way in advance and still we are 5 days in and my package still has not made it to the pickup location even though it's marked delivered. I've repeatedly called the store they still don't have it. The quality of service is horrible they don't even leave notices because they don't come to your home. I have paid good money for my items and it's just riding around America. I hope it's not stolen. I've contacted Amazon with which whom I'm getting ready to cancel because delivery suck with them as well. The apartment complex has lock boxes in the mailroom to put our packages and they refuse to deliver properly. I'm getting ready to save a whole lot of money. But any package moving out of this kansas location is going to be late every time not just during the holidays they always hold the packages there for days for no reason. Absolutely horrible. So we were supposed to have a package delivered Jan 3rd between 2-4 pm. We were home ALL day. The delivery driver tried to say no one was home so the package didn't get delivered. Except no UPS truck ever showed up and no one knocked on our door. Besides the drive to get to a place that is inches off the highway (you have to take outer roads around) and the amount of traffic on those streets, my experience here was fine. I was greeted by a friendly face who found my package for me pretty quickly. The person who put the package away put it on the wrong shelf, but she still found it and brought it out pretty fast. I never have had them hold a package for me in the past, but I think I'll do it again instead of risking the packages getting stolen from my doorstep since I'm never home when the drivers come. read more

Had to send a package today. Love that I can print out the shipping label, pay and then drop it off. The first few times I've done this there was someone in brown to hold my had through the process. Even during the holiday rush! They've even opened the doors for me at 7:02 when I miss the deadline. I can say enough about how helpful brown can be. read more

I am still waiting on an next day air delivery that was scheduled for delivery on Wednesday 12/18/2019. Needing a signature i rescheduled and paid the fee for delivery on 12/19/2019. UPS miss sorted and sent to Wichita KS. Customer service assured me that I would still get the delivery today, Now I receive an update that it will be 12/20/2019. Why did I pay an additional fee to not receive as scheduled. I will not be home now for the next several days. Cannot talk to anyone in customer service at the facility because all calls are outsourced to another country. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Had a delivery of wine so I had to be there to sign for it (which I missed them). I went to the hub to pick it up and it being Christmas, I figured it was going to be insane, which it was. The two workers there had a huge line but continued to smile and help every person to the best of their ability. Some of the packages were there, some were not as drivers were still on the road. Through the meanness of some of the customers, they stayed helpful and happy. The man working actually ran out and got my package off the truck as soon as they pulled in since I'd been waiting awhile. They impressed me when they could easily have been grumpy, they were nice and went the extra mile. read more

If you can have all your packages shipped via FedEx! The Ups customer center and it's employees are a challenge to deal with. Their online services and automated phone services DO NOT work. You have to speak directly with a customer service representative which takes 30 minutes to get connected with one. Then out of the 3 reps I dealt with a majority of them were rude. One even hung up in the middle of me asking a question. FedEx is the future for shipping! Ups is up and out due to poor or lack there of customer service skills. read more

I had 2 packages that were supposed to be delivered on Wednesday that were guaranteed 2nd day air. It's now Saturday and have not been delivered all they say when I call is it is out for delivery. I asked to have the specific location call me on 11 different occasions and again they still have yet to call or deliver my packages and can't provide any info. Everyday is just another email that they have changed the delivery to the next day but never deliver. This is a horrible company. Poor ability to indicate what time they are actually open. First, refused to leave my package with a neighbor. Second, I rescheduled to pick up and then I get a notice the package is ready. The email sent indicates theyre open until 9 pm on Friday. I show up and the doors are locked. It's 7:30 pm. I see the sign says they're open until 9, but closed from 7-8 pm for some reason. Saw the UPS driver throw three packages out the back of his truck onto the street. Confronted him and he yelled at me stating I would never have another package delivered by UPS. Since then my first package was CANCELLED DUE TO CUSTOMER REFUSAL TO ACCEPT. My second package was CANCELLED DUE TO CUSTOMER REFUSAL TO ACCEPT. His supervisor told me they were friends and had worked together for a long time. I've been shipping UPS for almost 20 years and have NEVER experienced an issue like the one I have with this service center. Shipped from GA to KS - a two day zone - on a Monday during the holidays. During the holidays the service guarantee is waived and ground packages routinely take an extra day to deliver - no problem. We expect that. This package should have delivered (counting the extra day) last Thursday. It was at the facility and "out for delivery" 4 of the past 5 business days for a total of 7 business days (in a 2 business day zone) and still has not delivered. I was promised by phone support FOUR TIMES over the past two days that a representative from this center would call me regarding the issue and never received a call. I was finally able to convince a call center rep (all of whom barely speak English) to three-way me into the service center since they don't have published phone numbers. An apologetic gentleman at the hub could not explain why the package has not been delivered, especially since our customer has received OTHER deliveries during the past week. I have been told by various phone reps that it was just because they were busy but that's simply not possible that all packages are delayed more than a week or it would have made national news. Someone somewhere is screwing up and loading this package on the wrong truck or it's in a closet somewhere at that facility - there's an issue somewhere and they refuse to investigate and deliver this package to my customer. I'm going to lose a customer and several hundred dollars and at least 8 hours of my time dealing with this incompetence. UPS should really investigate why this hub is run so poorly compared to the rest of their network and make personnel changes accordingly. read more

I needed a package delivered to me that was a belated birthday gift. I first set my apartment as the delivery address but was not home to pick it up. I grabbed the exception notice and changed the delivery address to my workplace. The next day rolled around and they did not deliver due to another exception. When inquiring, the website stated that the signature for the package was refused. After talking to everybody in the office, they saw no delivery person. When I called the customer service number to inquire, the representative stated that I did not give enough information for the delivery. I did put the suite number for the company on the delivery update, which she confirmed. She then stated that drivers do not have the time to research where the package goes at buildings. I stated that the directory was right next to the elevator. I went ahead and scheduled a pickup for Friday because I have no faith in their delivery methods. FedEx can figure it out, why can't UPS? UPDATE: July 1, 2009 11:00 PM So when I got home the delivery exception from UPS was on my front door. Yes, that's right, the lady over the phone somewhat scolded me for not having the right information down but the real issue was they didn't get their updates correct. I updated the delivery status before the package was checked back in. Apparently Brown can't keep each other in the loop. So yeah, I'm picking up the package. Delivery delayed with no information. 3 days UPS says my package is at their facility and when asked first time what is up with my package I was lied to by some indian sounding lady - she said it's on the truck and they have to 8:00 to deliver. She was lying, the package is still at the facility, I hope. Next day I call and get told that some times they forget to scan the package so maybe it was delivered. It was not delivered. UPS Choice vemail said my package was delivered at 5:59 PM. However my doorbell never rang and I was home all evening waiting for package. When I called UPS customer service center they said the package had been signed for. They said they would research it. The customer center called me back a half an hour later and said the delivery driver delivered the package to the office of my apartment complex. I called them back because I was upset, the office to my apartment complex closes at 6 PM so I could not get my package that evening and UPS never attempted delivery to my door which they always do prior to dropping a package off at the office. The customer service center said the delivery driver was behind delivering packages, And that's why he just dropped them off at the office. They always attempt delivery at the door and if there's no answer, they either leave the pkg at my door, or if it needs to be signed for, take it to the office. They have been super helpful at this location. Always very friendly and patient. They have helped me with taping my packages shut, labeling them, and even stayed open a few minutes past closing time one night to wait for me to drop off my package (I called ahead.) I expected a NEXT DAY AIR package sent on a Tuesday to deliver.. on Wednesday. This is Friday and 0 attempts were made, despite tracking saying attempts were made (11pm ish, which we all know they aren't out delivering). So UPS is LYING on their website. NO doortags were left so I couldn't do anything to change the delivery - I called instead - TWICE - to request it held at this location. At least then I could physically go get it myself, but the change never went through on the website and the status is still that it will be delivered end of day today. So, that's 3 days of them pushing out status despite NEVER MAKING AN ATTEMPT TO DELIVER. It's not like this was a ground package or anything - this is an OVERNIGHT AIR package. Put some PRIORITY on it for god's sake and make sure it freaking delivers at least within a DAY. I would understand if it was delayed with the holidays etc but when you PAY for OVERNIGHT AIR there should be some URGENCY. No one who I talked to cared, they just keep saying be patient. Drivers steal package which they say is loss or missing and have the nerve to request you to have the sender macy's to open up investigation.
