The food is PHENOMENAL!!!! You can taste the fact that it's freshly made! While it takes a little longer for the food to be prepared, I am more than okay with it due to the fantastic taste. The shakshuka was delish! A dash of spice but mostly a flavorful spice than a hot spice. The banana walnut pancakes were large and fluffy and stuffed with bananas and walnuts. We also both got blueberry mojito mocktails that were refreshing! The building itself is very clean and open like a high class brunch restaurant. While the service is a bit slower, since they are still newer I think they are still figuring it out and hiring new people. I expect that will sharpen as they get more situated. Would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone looking for a healthier, and more higher class brunch.

From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming, but the owner truly made the night unforgettable. She came over to our table, took the time to chat with us, made my dad feel so special on his birthday, and even surprised us with complimentary ribs and a few other dishes for us to try. That level of hospitality is so rare these days, and it genuinely meant a lot. The food was incredible--everything we tried was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and you could tell it was made with care. Between the amazing barbecue and the exceptional service, this restaurant exceeded all of our expectations. If you're looking for delicious BBQ and a place where you'll be treated like family, I can't recommend Embark BBQ enough. We left with full stomachs and big smiles, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for making my dad's birthday so memorable!

Had a good friend recently tell me I needed to come back, so we did. Tonight we ordered a half rack of ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, and the pulled pork Mac-n-cheese. In a word, the food was fantastic. I've had BBQ in a LOT of places and also have my own smoker that I've gotten pretty good at using it so I know good BBQ...and this is good BBQ. The ribs were delicious - cooked perfectly the way the want them in competition...not fall off the bone, but with a little bite, and the flavor was great. Amazing bark on the outside with tender meat on the bone. The pulled pork sandwich was so tender and delicious that I wish I didn't have to share it with Wifey. And their homemade BBQ sauce is absolutely great...a little spice on the back of the tongue, but still sweet without being overly sweet (they have four kinds, but I only wanted the traditional). The pulled pork Mac-n-cheese was very rich but full of flavor with a nice breadcrumb topping as well. Each platter also came with cole slaw, something often overlooked by BBQ places, but not here. Very tasty, very fresh, though I think it needed a pinch of salt. I do wish we had gotten some cornbread, but honestly, we walked away very full. The service here is super friendly and our food came pretty quickly...and I really love the layout and vibe here. I spoke to the owner about how much I loved the food tonight and how it was such a difference from my first experience. I'm so glad we came back. The people behind the counter all seem to LIKE what they're doing...and that means a lot. Real BBQ places are always pricey, because you aren't paying for just the food, your paying for the hours and hours and hours of cooking it takes to get the food to taste as good as it does and to be tender. You can't take shortcuts with BBQ. So yeah, Embark isn't cheap, but if there's one thing I've discovered over the years it's that you DON'T want cheap BBQ. Embark is a BYOB place so bring your favorite beer, order some great food, and sit with friends savoring the deliciousness. I will NOT wait this long to come back again.

I'm looking at you Five Guys. Sorry, but where I come from the beef makes the burger and if you want to throw some cheese on it, knock yourself out. The Habit Burger Grill gets it... simplicity rules. So, forget the landfill in a bag... grill up a tasty burger with some equally excellent fries and onion rings and you have smiles to spare. That wasn't so hard. I'm just hoping that their recent sale to YUM Brands (Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell) doesn't unleash the corporate efficiency experts looking for scalps and savings. In the meantime, HBG deserves an easy five stars.

We were discussing burgers yesterday and Habit came up. I'd never eaten at one. He wanted one. Perfect. Pulls in at 8:45, takes a few minutes to figure out the ordering kiosk. I will therefore note this is an issue to anticipate. The order itself didn't seem to take too long. As for what came home with my friend: * Intrigued by the dragonfruit limeade. Would be something to keep in mind if I find myself at Habit again. * I enjoyed my burger. The patty was the weakest part, very plain and underwhelming. But the portabello mushroom and associated toppings? Mwah. That all made the sandwich. But the best burger places know how to make the meat score points. * My friend got the tempura green beans. Apparently those were just OK, maybe not tempuraed enough. I noticed when looking at the sides, every dipping sauce costs money besides ketchup packets (m'eh) and none of them really looked that interesting to me. So the upsides? Good value, tasty mushrooms. The downsides? Limited selections, uninspiring burger meat. I'll call it a strong 3 stars and if I do end up here (or another Habit) I will reconsider.

All of the Fuddruckers that I grew up around are gone and there's only a few left in the country and this was one of them. Had to take full advantage of it! As you walk in, there's a big queue to walk through until you get to the ordering counter. They have lots to choose from for burgers and some other stuff however I always just get the basic burger and then go to the toppings bar and fill it up. Fries come with every entree but drinks are extra. It's also unlimited fries. You just have to go up to the pickup counter again if you run out of fries and they will give you some more. I just started with one of the basic 1/3 pound burgers and topped it up with tons of pickles and liquid cheese that I just love and miss so much. They have lots of different condiments as well as jalapeno cheese and some sort of horseradish mayonnaise. Definitely good choice here! Definitely planning to return in the future. Brought back some great memories of Fuddruckers from my past. Plenty of seating and place was clean.

I remember it being an all-white plain fast food place, similar to the vibe of Five Guys. Well, this one's different, and maybe that's why it's one of the few Fudds still around. Much classier inside, wood paneled and amber lit. There's a back room for large parties or extra seating, or a cozy up-front section with comfy benches. Warning: the benches are low. Second warning: Fudds is still a place where you enter, walk up and order, and wait for your food. No table service. Some things don't change. Like the value. I ordered an ultimate bacon grilled cheese burger. Subbed elk and the price barely went up for that dark, meaty flavour. Ordered rare, they advised that they can't go below medium rare. Understood, and I went to wait. And wait. I could tell they make things fresh to order, and with a large 6-person order that came out just before mine, I'm sure that was the bulk of the wait. Burger arrived, I threw my veggies on for nutrition, some onion petal sauce for the fries (yup, just what you'd want to dip your onion rings into), and for good measure added cheese sauce to the four cheeses on the burger. Why not. Verdict: What a glorious burger Fudds makes. Even though they missed my request for a bun instead of the default Texas Toast - again, maybe thrown off by the large order before me - still delicious from beginning to end. The meat was indeed nice and dark pink inside, something most burgers fail to achieve. Deep rich elk taste throughout validated my upgrade. The fries are also top-notch - thick cut, seasoned well, and most importantly, unlimited! I went back for thirds, tried some different sauces each time, discovered the Cholula on the third attempt and realized I should have been slathering my food in that the whole time. But, with that, this was an incredibly long-overdue return, and I promise it won't be twenty-*mumble* something years before the next. I am so glad that not only has Fudds survived, but they've saved a location most convenient to me.

We got two Double Shack Burgers, cheese fries, and onion rings, all delivered for a total of a bit over $60 (expensive!). Everything arrived cold and the burgers came disheveled. I understand that it can be hard to keep food warm for delivery, but the burgers/food could've been wrapped in foil, or something to help it travel and stay warm, at least. Our order of onion rings was quite expensive and we only got 7, very small rings. This was not enough for me and my husband to share as we had planned. The fries arrived soggy, but the cheese sauce was tasty at least. The burgers similarly seemed to have corners cut. The lettuce and tomato barely covered half the burger, and the burger was falling apart when it arrived. Since it was already falling apart, we decided to disassemble it and re-heat it, as it was cold. There was also no option to add pickles, which I would have appreciated. Overall we were able to revive everything in the airfryer, but I was still surprised by how Shake Shack seemed to skimp on the entire meal. Really disappointing!

You can build your own plate by selecting one or more entrees and sides - which are priced accordingly. As a 'gringo' who wasn't entirely sure what everything was, I really appreciated them taking the extra time to explain all the different options and give me their honest recommendations.
