Brisket, sweet potato fries, wait, double bacon, burger and a establishment burger.
D C.

This was a very nice surprise. Decided to go here for the smoked meat and ended up having with everything else. One of the best burgers I've ever tasted. The brisket, double bacon, cheeseburger, wings, and the sweet potato fries were simply amazing. Everything had such great flavor, big portions, and mouthwatering looks. This place is a must go and true to the saying If it looks good it must taste good. We will be back.

Came here Sunday afternoon with friends. One of my friends suggested this spot which he found via Google. Once you enter, the menu is to your right and you place your order in the counter. The place is bright and has a lot of natural sunlight. After you place your order, you can see staff members cut up your meats in front of you. There is a dining area next to the area you placed your order at. I order the 3 meat combo, got the brisket, burnt ends and pulled pork. They weigh out the meats to make sure you get the right serving amount. Also ordered a large (16 oz) Mac and cheese ($10.19) and it was really good. The brisket was solid, burnt ends were sweet and good. The pulled pork was solid as well. I came in hungry but I think two meat combo is enough food if you get a side of Mac and cheese. I was so full after finishing all the meats. I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for bbq. * Street parking * Good service

Decided on the three-meat platter, which came out looking as good as it tasted. The sausage delivered deep smoky richness with a perfect balance of savory and salty. Burnt ends had a beautiful bark that gave way to tender, juicy bites. Brisket was melt-in-your-mouth soft with a pronounced beefy depth. Sampled all three sauces: BBQ brought a sweet, tangy lift, Alabama white had a nice creamy profile though I wished for more heat, and the Carolina sauce offered a bold mustard base that cut through the richness. The mac and cheese was indulgent, creamy, and full of flavor. The beans were a standout with hearty chunks of pepper, likely poblano, adding a subtle green heat. Cornbread and coleslaw felt more like an afterthought compared to the other standouts. Service was impressively fast. The space works perfectly for a quick takeout run, yet the warm, casual dining area makes staying in just as inviting. Already planning a return trip for the loaded mac and cheese.

I went here with my family to celebrate my niece's birthday because she wanted bbq food and BOY DID IT DELIVER!! She loved it and so did we. The people were super friendly and the place was warming. Since we were 6 adults and 2 kids we just ordered family style so we can try everything. The service was quick and the food was super fresh! The BRISKET was my personal fave! No need to chew. We ordered mac and cheese as well and my nephew devoured it all. The place was clean as well, including the bathroom. Definitely recommend it if in the neighborhood! Me and my family enjoyed it very much.

Great bbq!! Authentic bbq. Love that the meat is not drenched in sauce you add if you want it. Love the spin on cornbread with the ginger.

[Blowing on my nails.] The menu is a mix of American comfort food and gastropub classics, but with flair, and has a bit of everything to satisfy different palates. Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal. The cocktails are serious as well - the presence of a drink with egg white is my personal litmus test for a bar that knows what it's doing, so the Thyme to Bloom special had my name on it. I'm salivating just looking at photos of dishes I didn't order, and am already plotting my return!

Since their animals come from farms that take care of them (better than most humans) they are on the pricier side. $15 for a pound of ground beef for example but trust me, its worth it!! Especially unfrozen if the option is available. We never bought delivery and always drove to the store. Duck, venison, chicken breast, bison, beef, steak and drum sticks were all great quality in our experience. Also purchased venison dog treats and dog food that we served to my sisters dog raw. It contained vegetables like carrot and peas that he finished in minutes... chow down. Again, it's pricey but reasonably so bc the meat is fed great, and are cared for than most places you buy meat from. We were discussing burgers yesterday and Habit came up. I'd never eaten at one. He wanted one. Perfect. Pulls in at 8:45, takes a few minutes to figure out the ordering kiosk. I will therefore note this is an issue to anticipate. The order itself didn't seem to take too long. As for what came home with my friend: * Intrigued by the dragonfruit limeade. Would be something to keep in mind if I find myself at Habit again. * I enjoyed my burger. The patty was the weakest part, very plain and underwhelming. But the portabello mushroom and associated toppings? Mwah. That all made the sandwich. But the best burger places know how to make the meat score points. * My friend got the tempura green beans. Apparently those were just OK, maybe not tempuraed enough. I noticed when looking at the sides, every dipping sauce costs money besides ketchup packets (m'eh) and none of them really looked that interesting to me. So the upsides? Good value, tasty mushrooms. The downsides? Limited selections, uninspiring burger meat. I'll call it a strong 3 stars and if I do end up here (or another Habit) I will reconsider.

I remember it being an all-white plain fast food place, similar to the vibe of Five Guys. Well, this one's different, and maybe that's why it's one of the few Fudds still around. Much classier inside, wood paneled and amber lit. There's a back room for large parties or extra seating, or a cozy up-front section with comfy benches. Warning: the benches are low. Second warning: Fudds is still a place where you enter, walk up and order, and wait for your food. No table service. Some things don't change. Like the value. I ordered an ultimate bacon grilled cheese burger. Subbed elk and the price barely went up for that dark, meaty flavour. Ordered rare, they advised that they can't go below medium rare. Understood, and I went to wait. And wait. I could tell they make things fresh to order, and with a large 6-person order that came out just before mine, I'm sure that was the bulk of the wait. Burger arrived, I threw my veggies on for nutrition, some onion petal sauce for the fries (yup, just what you'd want to dip your onion rings into), and for good measure added cheese sauce to the four cheeses on the burger. Why not. Verdict: What a glorious burger Fudds makes. Even though they missed my request for a bun instead of the default Texas Toast - again, maybe thrown off by the large order before me - still delicious from beginning to end. The meat was indeed nice and dark pink inside, something most burgers fail to achieve. Deep rich elk taste throughout validated my upgrade. The fries are also top-notch - thick cut, seasoned well, and most importantly, unlimited! I went back for thirds, tried some different sauces each time, discovered the Cholula on the third attempt and realized I should have been slathering my food in that the whole time. But, with that, this was an incredibly long-overdue return, and I promise it won't be twenty-*mumble* something years before the next. I am so glad that not only has Fudds survived, but they've saved a location most convenient to me.

And what would've been a 4 star for the nostalgia became 3 with the price. Roughly $40 for two of us. This makes five guys seem cheap. In any event glad I got to try it again after so many years but that will be enough for the next decade.

We got two Double Shack Burgers, cheese fries, and onion rings, all delivered for a total of a bit over $60 (expensive!). Everything arrived cold and the burgers came disheveled. I understand that it can be hard to keep food warm for delivery, but the burgers/food could've been wrapped in foil, or something to help it travel and stay warm, at least. Our order of onion rings was quite expensive and we only got 7, very small rings. This was not enough for me and my husband to share as we had planned. The fries arrived soggy, but the cheese sauce was tasty at least. The burgers similarly seemed to have corners cut. The lettuce and tomato barely covered half the burger, and the burger was falling apart when it arrived. Since it was already falling apart, we decided to disassemble it and re-heat it, as it was cold. There was also no option to add pickles, which I would have appreciated. Overall we were able to revive everything in the airfryer, but I was still surprised by how Shake Shack seemed to skimp on the entire meal. Really disappointing!

It's a very casual, cafeteria-style spot with a semi-open kitchen, but don't let the simplicity fool you -- the food is incredible and the staff here is friendly and patient. The highlight of the experience is the small buffet that features a variety of freshly-made Latin cuisine -- including pulled pork, chicken and beef stews, and other traditional Latin entrees and sides. You can build your own plate by selecting one or more entrees and sides - which are priced accordingly. As a 'gringo' who wasn't entirely sure what everything was, I really appreciated them taking the extra time to explain all the different options and give me their honest recommendations. The counterstaff is bilingual and were pretty patient with my elementary school level Spanish vocabulary and grammar. I ended up going with the pulled pork platter with two sides ($7) and it was terrific -- the perfectly seasoned and tender pork, black beans and rice, and macaroni salad were delicious and very filling. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the portions are very generous for the price. If you're looking for authentic, home-style Latino food in a laid-back setting, this is the spot! PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home to enjoy with your meal. Sazon Latino is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol.
