Store Location: Advance Auto Parts 439 Uvalde Rd Houston, TX 77015 Your store clearly displays a sign stating that business hours begin at 7:30 AM. However, when I arrived at 8:19 AM, the doors were still locked. When a female employee finally opened the door, I noticed that the employees were watching a movie. I approached the female employee for assistance, but she was unable to answer my question. I politely asked her to get another employee who could help me. Instead of receiving professional assistance, the male employee responded with an extremely rude attitude and was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. This is absolutely unacceptable. As a customer, I should not have to arrive at a business almost an hour after its advertised opening time and find the doors locked, only to discover employees watching a movie and then be treated with disrespect for simply asking for assistance. I understand that employees may not always have the answers to every question, but there is absolutely no excuse for poor attitudes, disrespect, or a lack of basic customer service. What concerns me even more is the lack of professionalism and accountability demonstrated by the employees at this location. Customers should not feel like they are inconveniencing employees simply by walking into a store and asking them to do their jobs. I am requesting that this complaint be taken seriously and brought to the attention of both the district manager and corporate management. I would like an explanation as to why the store was not open at its posted time and what steps will be taken to address the unacceptable behavior I experienced. It was also relatively close to her place and had excellent reviews. I went over to her place and pumped some air into the tire. I drove her car to Garcia and was immediately greeted by a friendly technician. It took less than 5 minutes for the tech to discover the leak was due to a worn-out air valve. It took about 10 minutes for him to replace the air valve. The total cost for labor and part was $10, dirt cheap. Garcia also sells used and new tires. I will not hesitate to use Garcia again.
