Late in the fall I called to ask if they had them in stock. They said yes. I said great. I will come in and buy them. " I get $240 off of the purchase price, right?" They said wrong! That was only for last year's models. I explained that last year's model I wanted to buy was out of stock and I was told you would have them in the fall. They refused to honor the deal. Btw, my wife and I both bought our ski boots here and we are happy with them. The young guys here that work the floor are great. The decision not to honor the discount came from management. After five days skiing I can say these are the best fit I've ever had. It took a while but I appreciated the attention to detail. I also got to see them operate for a while. They were happy to recommend gear that they didn't stock. They even sized a few kids for free and directed the parents on what to buy off of a website. This is a truly classy place. You need an appointment but it was like the next day. While they are very willing to help you save a buck, they were far from cheap, but I'd argue worth it. I've had "professional" boot fittings on 3 prior occasions and this was the first time I felt like I actually learned something, no shit.

It was difficult not reaching anyone anytime of day that I called. However, after an unforgettable conversation with a gentleman, I decided to rate this business and give it an honest review. I spoke with a someone on the phone and he was an incredible jerk who was not pleasent to talk to. I expected a 'wizard' to be more magical and persuasive in their arguments. After introducing myself and saying that I was looking for a discount on some brakes, he explained that it was cheap and, "we offer free shipping". I explained that there was someone local in my area that offered these cheaper. After learning that he wouldn't lower the price, I decided that this was a dude that didn't deserve my money not only because I didn't want to pay the price but also because I could get it from someone much nicer. There's a lot of attitude on his end and after I said, "Thanks for everything, tho" he gives me a "Bye" that reeked of entitlement and made be feel belittled. Wish I could have recorded this conversation for y'all to hear. I'm not a big fan of people from Montana especially if they treated all callers and potential customers like this. It has everything a male or female from my perspective could want: bikes, hiking gear, skiing gear, camping, storage, camp cooking supplies, folks were talking the whole kit and caboodle. This specific store had great customer service during my visits here, during those visits I've purchased two pairs of hiking shoes, socks and hydration pack. During one visit they where hosting a yoga class. Go figure! The location is on the booming development side of town in Bozeman and there are plenty other shops and eateries. Its is outdoors and you need it you will find it here!
