I found this place by accident. I was bringing my dog over the the vet and I had passed by this corner store. It was actually their first day of opening. So, I decided to go check it out. This place is pretty nice. It's mostly a cellphone, video games (and consoles) and a PC repair store. Plus they have a lot of cellphone accessories, iPod accessories and PC upgrades. I guess that's why they called it Upgrade (duh..me) So, I picked up a few PSP games and saw that they have a few of the hard-to-get Wii consoles. These guys are the best! They speak Chinese, Spanish and English. They give you great service for a great price. They know what they are doing and don't try to scam you. first of all miguel and his brother julio were amazing helping me recover from hard drive failure ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND, NEW YEARS EVE/DAY. miguel was able to look at my hard drive right away, within 40 minutes of testing he new the drive was shot. upgrade was willing to clone my files and install a better ssd drive on my system with all my files mp3, videos, computer game scores etc. THESE GUYS EVEN DELIVERED IT LATE NEW YEARS DAY TO MY HOME. i cannot recommend this company enough. they did a tremendous job and with a switch from hdd to new solid state drive( ssd) my computer is even faster. the guys are honest and go the extra mile. i am customer as long as i live in brooklyn. read more

Anybody that dealt with them attest of their always shady and we are smarter & know better than you kind of attitude. Bought a Xbox one headset opened it it was broken he told me I put my broken one back and couldn't give me a refund & he didn't have anymore headsets. After arguing with him gave me the refund. Literally come there all the time no customer loyalty. There's a nice young dude in there tho. read more

Okay so I was searching for a reliable place where the techs were not blatantly trying to rip people off. I went to school for computer repair and programming graduated and even got A+ certified in 2004 but I decided it wasn't for me so I'm not completely ignorant to what these jobs entail. So after hitting a couple of local places in my neighborhood such as Shamrock Computer Repair.. Should be called SCAMROCK cause that's what they do.. They thought I was gonna pay them $100+ just to format my hard drive and re install everything.. That's a $40 - $60 job at best. So I came across this place on Yelp and it had really good reviews so I gave them a try.. Brought 2 of my old laptops to them one wouldn't even turn on anymore cause my cats spilled tea on it and I had 10yrs of stuff saved on the HD; the other one just wouldn't boot up anymore cause the motherboard was fried. They got all the data off the Hard drives for me, held onto it for more that 2 weeks until I purchased a new laptop, ported all the data onto the new one all for $60. Today I brought my new laptop in cause I was having trouble getting on the internet and they fixed it right there and charged me only $10. which they felt was a fair price. These guys are not only knowledgeable and efficient but they are very friendly and fun to talk to, (you get what you give) and most of all they are fair and reasonable and they have integrity. They charge a $20 diagnostic fee which they will deduct from the bill if you choose to have them fix your issue, which in my opinion is totally fair. also they are bilingual.. English, Spanish, and apparently French...LOL! They have come through for me twice so far so I have decided to make these dudes my go to guys for electronics. They also have a wide range of accessories for phones, IPods, IPhones, Video Games, Etc. I highly recommend these guys if you don't want to get ripped off. read more

They are selling bootleg merchandise. Shoddy clearly bootleg chemical odor parts missing bootlegs of name brand items. They don't give you receipt on purchase - then say no return. Use your credit card only to buy so you have a record and can dispute! Better, don't buy bootleg items and report them if they scammed you. And the store is not nice, it's a mess. read more

They are funny. My mom went in to change her screen and they changed it for her with no problem. When they finished and she looked at her phone she noticed the screen was tinted black. She couldn't see clearly at all. When she told them about it they took her phone and started changing her wallpaper to a lighter one! How ridiculous is that?? She should be able to have a black wallpaper and see her screen just fine. So she told them she wants it fixed and they kept saying it's the only screen they have. The problem was that it was a normal screen but looked tinted black because they didn't install it correctly. I doubt being in the business for so long that they did not know that! Instead of fixing it for her, it took two weeks of them telling her to come another day until they actually fixed it! At least they fixed it right, but I have to pull your teeth for you to fix your mistake? Ok never again. read more

These guys are total crooks. My phone was broken and i gave it to these guys and at first they told me that it needed a new battery and it was gonna cost $40. They said they were gonna call me when it was ready and they never did. 2 days later, they said that the batter wasn't the problem, but the motherboard of the phone was and it was gonna cost $120. Still uneasy about the price, i agreed. After them having my phone for literally an entire WEEK, they said that my phone was gonna cost $160!! I asked why and they said for the battery and the board. They didn't get my permission to replace the battery even though they have the consumers rights posted inside their store saying the customer needs to give permission if anything is going to be replaced. I argued about the price and he then told me i will not get my phone back if im paying less than 160! I paid the insane price and they gave me my phone back with the battery not even working and the screen wasnt working either!! They had to fix it again in front of me.They are very disrespectful to their customers not even making eye contact with them. I absolutely do not recommend this place at all. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF 100%!!!!!!!! read more
