It's late on a Tuesday afternoon and we were in a jam, the only key to a building that we were restoring had gone missing and it was essential that we had access to the property as tradesmen were arriving the following day to start work on the restoration of this badly damaged property, thankfully I found George of Geo locksmiths. The lock on the access door was an extremely expensive lock not carried by the local DIY stores, so George picked the lock and removed it, replacing it with a temporary lock, so that the property remained secure. George then took the lock to his shop and manufactured three keys. The following morning George returned to the property, re-installed the original lock, sent me a video of the lock and keys working, waited for my tradesmen to arrive and handed over the keys, I cannot adequately express how impressed I am with George. As far as this company is concerned, George will be our go-to man for all security related issues, I cannot recommend Geo Locksmiths highly enough. Michael S. This is the only locksmith company that I have contacted in Brooklyn and I'm so glad I did!!! The first time I had contacted this locksmith, I needed new locks installed into my apartment door and they arrived at the exact time that I had requested, the job was done quick and the price was very fair. The second time, I had broken a lock in one of my bedrooms and couldn't open the door after that. I called this company right away and within less than an hour everything was fixed. If you want the job to be done right then I highly recommend to contact Geo Locksmith, located in Brooklyn, NY. They are very professional, quick, answer all of your questions and the charges are very affordable. If needed again, I will definitely call for your service in the future. read more

George is an amazing locksmith! I had an emergency late on a Saturday night. My key got jammed in the front door to my apartment and the lock was broken. He showed up in less than 15 minutes from when I called him. He worked quickly and efficiently. He came with all of the tools necessary to get the job done. George fixed the door for me, made sure everything was okay, and helped me put materials together to send to my management company for proof that the lock was broken. I highly recommend contacting this company if you have any issues requiring a locksmith. The service was impeccable and George was extremely professional. If I ever need the services of a locksmith in the future, I will definitely call Geo Locksmith again. -Bianca read more

I was visiting New York recently when I got locked out of my car after I stopped at the store to get cigarettes, the problem was that I was on my way to pick my sister up from work and I was already late. I called Geo Locksmith and explained the situation, the person I spoken to on the phone assured me that he would be there in less then 15min in fact he was there in less than 10 and unlocked the car in less than a 1min and so after I thanked him I was on my way to get my sister from work. Reliable and professional service, I recommend it to everyone, I know that if I ever get into a similar situation again I am well armed with a Geo Locksmith business card in my wallet. read more

I needed my locks changed in my new co-op apartment. I found George via this very Yelp! page and I am so glad I did. He came same day, was extremely professional, helpful and kind. My bottom lock needed to be fully replaced vs. just a cylinder change. George advised that actually the co-op is responsible for the bottom lock. So ethical and kind of him to alert me to this, as I'm a new home owner. He was absolutely right, and saved me $225 in doing so. George did change the cylinder on the top lock for me and made sure all was working properly & I was feeling good about it. Genuinely good guy, who does his job well. I highly recommend him! read more

A friend of mine referred me to this company after I was locked out of my home with my infant. They were so understanding and arrived so fast after hearing the panic in my voice. The man that came was so professional and so sweet knowing how upset I was. I was charged close to nothing for their services which was such an amazing surprise as nowadays everything is so overpriced. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any locksmith services! And I will certainly be using them again in the future. Which I hopefully won't need to! read more
