Going full on 5 stars. These people are great, their food is prepared wonderfully and they accommodate anything you ask. Had two perfectly baked pies tonight and some excellent garlic rolls. The co owner was hand making chocolates when I got there but was nice enough to share in some good conversation with me while I was there. It's great to see good folks like this succeeding in their business. Love this place!!

I was driving past today when I saw the sign saying best cheesecake in all of New Jersey well. I took that as a challenge to myself so I pulled an illegal U-turn parked my car and went inside. I was greeted with a nice smile by a lovely lady, Behind the counter who asked me How could she help me? I said, could I please have the best cheesecake in all of New Jersey? She said I sure could and now that I've had the cheesecake. I can say of the 212 previous New Jersey cheesecakes that I had. This is now number one but I am not dead yet. The quest continues.

That was a great place. Portion and quality of the food is perfect while it is not expensive. Definitely try it after High point state park

5 Stars What a…read morefantastic experience at Apulia Risto Pizza in Franklin, NJ! I visited for dinner around 6:30 PM and ordered the Chicken Piccata with extra vegetables. The portion size was enormous--more than enough food, and as you can see from the pictures, the plate was packed with perfectly cooked pasta, tender chicken, and fresh vegetables. Everything was absolutely delicious. The vegetables were cooked al dente, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the chicken was soft, flavorful, and prepared just right. You could tell the food was made fresh because it took a little time to come out, but it arrived hot and was well worth the wait. The service was exceptional. The ladies who took care of me were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made the entire experience even better. For the price, I felt like I received five-star service and outstanding value. It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers both quality and generous portions at a reasonable price. Franklin may not be the first place people think of when choosing a restaurant, but Apulia Risto Pizza is truly a hidden gem. I enjoyed it so much that I would gladly make the drive again, even if it's an hour from my home. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back!

What a beautiful building and that's all. The potential is limitless…read more My experience today is what should never happen at any restaurant. From the servers lack of knowledge of anything on the menu to the cold food we waited 45 minutes for, this place ranked "the worst place ever" to have a meal at. Even the drinks fell short with lack of flavor and ingredients. The tables are low and the chairs are comfortable, but not the greatest to eat from. Great for drinks and maybe finger food? When the food came we changed seats to a table, which they have a few of. From the moment they served our food cold I could no longer hold my tongue. I asked to speak with the manager and began to tell her my concerns. Her response was unbelievable. "this is my third day here", we don't have a Chef today and all of the staff are new". I said why open then. I really need to preface that. There were four people dining. We all had burgers and fries. One of us had a veggie burger. If you can't serve burgers, hot and fries hot that's a real low bar that you can't seem to get under. I really hope the Owner reads this review and straightens out what's gone wrong here. They removed three burgers from the order as one of our friends was so hungry. He decided to eat his burnt on both sides, veggie burger and he showed this to the manager and she didn't even make a suggestion like let me just take it all off the bill. My wife is not a person that would send stuff back however I am and the couple we were with the wife is the person who would send things back and the husband's more of a I won't come back here kind of guy. Both me and my friends wife post reviews, me in yelp and her on google. Look for her review. This was a truly disappointing experience. we wound up going right down the block to a place that we always dine at and had great burgers and some fish n chips. PS I took the menu pictures before all of this took place and I'm gonna post them anyway.

Solid, BYO Italian restaurant in this area with wonderful service and quaint atmosphere. My husband…read moreand I came here for an early dinner on Friday night and shared the Stuffed Artichoke appetizer (it was a special for the night). Soooooo good but it's not always available (so check before you go!). For dinner, I had the Veal Saltimboca alla Romano - perfectly thin and cooked and the cheese was deliciously melty (served with mashed potatoes and spinach with artichoke hearts). Hubby had the Chicken Gardina - wonderfully thin and fried to perfection. For desert, we had the Tartufo - obviously :)

Everything from the bruschetta, to the Cesar salad, to the Rigatoni ala Vodka had so much cheese and not a great tasting cheese. It wasn't Parmesan nor Pecorino but maybe Kraft from the can? IDK it just left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth. And the meatballs - once I taste grizzle I'm done they were definitely frozen not made fresh. The service was less than in so many ways. It felt as though we were bothering the entire staff by being there. For the price it should've been good - I wanted to enjoy it as it was my birthday dinner but it fell so short. Sadly will never be back.
