It was incredibly satisfying to slide into a booth and immediately be enveloped in the warmth and hospitality of this restaurant after such a cold and tiring morning. We both got the meatloaf platter which was on special. It came with two slices of meatloaf smothered in gravy, two slices of homemade bread smothered in butter, and three sides: fries, cole slaw and corn. It was hearty and delicious. Our waitress was far and away one of the kindest and friendliest people I've ever met. She made our experience a thousand times better. As others have mentioned, cash only so be prepared! Different employees will charge or not charge sales tax on the sandwiches and prepared salads. 3. The baked goods are very over priced.
