Nayomi, you made the best latte I've ever had! 10/10 recommend Finding Home Farms, and thank you so much for the great time!

This is actually my first time here. A home away from home it feel very cozy being here and very relaxing. I loved how they had a maple syrup section where you can try all of them. They were a bit water downed tasting. I got the grilled cheese and I didnt know that I could had asked for a side salad I would've had gotten that instead. I also tried the waffles they were okay they were a bit bland. Other then that I would highly recommend coming here and checking them out. read more

This is such a cute place from the moment you see it from the parking lot to going inside. The wood and decor is so welcoming! They have a great menu and the food was super yummy! I enjoyed the frittata with red pepper, spinach and feta! It was super fresh and the dressing was tasty which came with the salad. My friend enjoyed her signature coffee called SugarHouse Latte and breakfast sandwich. Waffles were a tad firm but soften with the syrup. You gotta try the samples in the back! So many flavors! Cinnamon is yum yum! My other friend had their brownie which he enjoyed so much I didn't even have time to take a picture! Definitely check this place out and relax outside! read more

What an adorable farm to table gem. In a remote location this little gem is definitely going to be one of my favorite spots. It's a very causal setting with several indoor and outdoor tables. The only downside is that they always seem to be understaffed and the employees are always in the weeds...which can be more a sign. If the times rather than management. This is not a sit down restaurant but order at the counter and pickup. They offer a great assortment of breakfast items that are made to order fresh. I love that they change their menu often which enables you to try different dishes that are in season. This little place is definitely worth the drive. read more

Great stop, organic maple syrup samples. Very campy gift store filled with local goods and nature and garden themed gifts. Also, a cafe with baked goods and drinks. I got a matcha and mom got the chai. This stop was very surprising and perfect. Picnic benches outside to sit and talk to the trees and grand entrance room with couches, tables and fireplace to hang out or study at. read more

Found this gem! From an invite to a women's group. Ambiance is comfortable--love the decor, very homey. There's outside seating, love to be in nature. Tried the Sugar House with Rye Maple syrup, double-shot espresso, and steamed oat milk--loved it! Never had coffee with maple syrup in coffee! My friend had a Nutella Double Expresso which is not on the menu (she asked the server what their favorite coffee is). Service was good. They do have an amazing menu (though there are no non dairy/non egg options other than offering an oat milk substitute) but I do recommend a stop here for at least a maple coffee or to buy maple, honey, soy candles, or pancake mix among other things. Maple is made on the grounds. Excited for the tour next March. read more

What a great find! Finding Home Farms is such a cute, charming and inviting place. The 'Sugarhouse' inside 'Finding Home Farms' serves brunch and baked goods. It's also a market that sells local goods, organic maple syrup, pancake mixes, jams, mustards, soy candles, home items, jewelry and more! We got to sample a few maple syrups too. We ordered an iced pumpkin maple latte, iced cider, wafflecado toast, breakfast sandwich (waffled), and a cinnamon scone. I really liked the breakfast sandwich the most. The drinks were also delicious. Both inside and outside seating areas are gorgeous, but we sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Definitely recommend visiting! read more

Came here for breakfast on a Monday morning with family. I was surprised to see the parking lot full of cars and some people were even sitting outside on the patio. We opted to sit and eat inside because of the summer heat. I loved my breakfast sandwich, which is egg and cheese inside of a heated up croissant. You can also add bacon if you wish to the breakfast sandwich. For my drink order, I had a hard time choosing from their extensive menu, but finally settled on the Happy Camper latte (which was on their specials menu for the day). loved the smokiness and the cinnamon flavor of the latte and my sandwich was delicious and just the right amount of food. After breakfast, I looked around their extensive gift shop which had some of their own maple syrups for sale (which you can flavor for free in store), candles, kitchenware, coffees, teas, children's books, stuffed animals, and costume jewelry. If you haven't been to Finding Home yet, I highly recommend it as it is such a peaceful spot for breakfast and their menu for both drinks and food is outstanding. Thank you to Joan for taking our order and taking such amazing care of our party of 6 on a busy Monday morning. read more

What a cute spot this is! From the outside it looks like a very nice barn. It's nestled somewhat in the back away from the main road. When you walk in it just has that cozy feeling country vibes. It feels homey and a place where you can sit and enjoy your coffee and food without feeling rushed. There were plenty of out door seating but we opted for inside to be in the AC. My friend had a brownie and coffee while my other friend had a frittata which she enjoyed very much. I had two things: waffle which had powdered sugar on it and it was a bit hard before dipping it in syrup and then I also got the breakfast sandwich on a croissant. They pressed the croissant in the shape of a waffle. I had eggs, bacon, cheese and added avocado. Everything tastes freshly made which is also why it was taking kind of the longer side to get our food. I also wanted to try the Sugar house iced latte which was an Iced latte made with Rye Maple syrup, double-shot espresso, steamed milk topped with maple whipped cream. What a delight this was! All of their pastries looked very tasty too! They also had a tasting area where you could sample syrups: Cinnamon, coffee, hot and spicy and original. Very clever idea this was. I had never seen anything like it. So I bought the sample pack of syrups and my two favs were the coffee and the cinnamon ones! If I am ever in the area again I for sure will be coming back here! read more

Completely agree with the other post. Rustic chic barn vibes were great but... really the worst avocado toast I've had (got it on toast and it was tiny, expensive, and made with the premade guac). The seasonal waffle (apple cinnamon) was excellent, but it was hard to get past the first issue when you are in the mood for both savory & sweet. read more

Great vibe and good food. We had the waffelito and the turkey melt. Our first time visiting but will come back again!

Every couple of NY State Maple Weekends, I venture up to the closest maplery I can find to enjoy the weekend, since I am a maple fanatic (and a food fanatic, yes yes). I learned that Finding Home has been on the list for several years, so I have clearly been lax in making it up to mape it up. I can say that after this year, I may make this an annual visit (at minimum!) I was enthralled with their special waffle today: full size (the normal menu has minis), filled with bacon bits, covered with delicious maple whipped cream, and with a side of maple that could easily have covered a second waffle. If it wasn't maple weekend... oh, who am I kidding, I'm licking the entire bowl and plate clean any day of the year. But the waffle was divine. The little croffles are also divine, pastries in waffle form for the win. And maple sugar because maple distillery. It being maple weekend, they opened up their tap room for chatting (I know I'm using beer terms for maple syrup, let me be) and we had a wonderful discussion together. They have some paraphernalia on sale, key being all varieties of maple syrup with all the various flavorings (I do highly recommend the cinnamon and, if it suits you, pumpkin spice). Only tiny downside I found is there isn't table service, though this is a maple sugarhouse and not a restaurant, so who am I gonna blame for this? They did bring the waffles to the table, but the drinks, apps, and table clearing all required visits. I'm sure if I was disabled they'd have served me at the table, they all seemed like wonderfully nice people there. So I'm looking forward to next time! read more

The coziest spot to grab a coffee or tea to meet up with friends or a great study spot. They also serve food and some pastries. The staff was great in helping me find a tea without caffeine in it and gave great recommendations. I had the turkey and Brie panini which was just okay but I would order it again it just came out a bit cold. The overall decor and vibes of the place make it cuter than just going to say like a Panera. They also have an adorable gift shop where they sell local products. I'll be back when the outside patio is open to bring my dogs! It seems they do ice cream in the summer so I would be excited to try that. read more

Meandered down country roads to find this gem where we had delicious Jane's homemade ice cream, bought our puppy healthy treats, and wished we had found this adorable spot before we ate lunch elsewhere!! Staff were very pleasant and people were visiting right and left . Recommend for coffee & munching , browsing the homewares, and relaxing in a comfy Adirondack chair. Recommend some planting for the future , because , only place to stare is the large parking lot! read more

Looking for a sugar rush? Look no further than the sugarhouse at Finding Home Farms. From the wonderful coffees to the sweet waffles paired with the maple syrup produced at the sugarhouse onsite, you'll find a taste sensation deserving of the trip. I had a Sugarhouse Latte and an order of the waffles, served with a syrup sweetened whipped cream. Both were outstanding. The view of the grounds from my table outdoors and the warm spring day made the overall experience even better. Head on over & get a sugar rush! read more

Amazing amazing decor and great environment! The coffee shop is, uhh kinda in the middle of no where, even your phone signal kinda dies, but wait, it is so worth the drive here! (They have Wi-Fi btw) Their baked goods are from North Wind bakery in Middletown and they heat it up for you. They don't have many meat items on their menu but the one we got was pretty darn good. It was like a toasted pressed sandwich, panini like. Worth the drive definitely and a great place to study! read more

I have heard so much about Finding Home Farms on Facebook that I had to check it out myself! This place is beautiful!! Although it is a little loud inside you just get this peaceful feeling just being there. I had waffles and a hot chocolate. We had to sit outside because there was no seats available inside and I can't do steps. By the time they delivered our stuff to us it was cold. My waffles also came with no butter and were so small I ate them in like 2 seconds. I was going to say something about everything being cold but apparently no one checks on you. Having to order at the counter and pick up your drinks but food is delivered to you is kinda odd I thought. Few suggestions: If there's seating available upstairs you may want to put in a elevator so people like myself can get upstairs and not have to sit outside. Waitress/waiter should take your order and deliver it and check on you to see if customers need anything. I'll definitely be back but not on a weekend when it's so busy. read more

Cute hidden gem! Try the pumpkin crumb cake, delish! I'll be back, I especially loved the decor.

Maple syrup is delicious, but the food was just okay. The avocado waffle dish was particularly disappointing; it was soggy and lacked flavor. I wish they had used fresh avocados instead of store-bought guacamole. Drinks are also just okay but ambiance is sweet read more

A nice surprise. The coffee was amazing and so was the breakfast! I'll definitely be back.

The ambiance is amazing here, big leather couch, real wood stove, tall ceilings with a cozy feel. Food is decent and affordable. I'd really give it 3.5 stars but they are trying. Weakest coffee I've ever had in my life. Twice too, so this wasn't a mistake. Had to get a shot of espresso to put in it to make it taste normal! Lots of cute gifts, maple syrup seems really overpriced though? Anyways I think would go back but maybe fuel up on caffeine before hand? read more

Adorable, quaint, quiet, friendly, and delicious! A friend and I wanted to try somewhere new for lunch. This was perfect! Order your food and drinks at the counter, pick up your drink and someone will bring your food to you when it's ready. You bus your own table. There are fun places to sit inside and outside and there is NO ONE rushing you out! The menu is small and limited to the flavors of the week. We had the quiche, the grilled cheese (subbed salad for chips) and iced lattes. So good I got another to go! Will definitely be back! read more

Where does maple syrup comes from? How is the process of sap collection from black maple trees and boiling pure syrup done? It it always a dark brown color? Finding Home Farms is a cozy country modern maple farm equipped with modern machinery for production, maple sugar process, sap collection, distribution for sale with free guided tours available. As visitors walk the outdoor grounds you can see black maple trees are located on site and attached with traditional bucket tap tubes for sap collection. My party of four were intrigued with the owner's lecture of handling maple. The air is very aromatic filled with maple. There is also soft ice cream for sale. Vacuum pumps with three visible steam stacks for ventilation as a modernized producer use propane, or steam to evaporate sap. The free guided tour offers free maple syrup samples. Now, I do not have to travel all the way to Canada to obtain pure maple. My party of three were visualizing how in earlier times without machinery the difficulty, labor intensive, workers constantly enduring third degree burns, time consuming process and production of maple syrup was. Thankfully, progress comes with technology which makes production process easier and today's 21st century there are more options for machinery and automation than earlier times. Finding Homes lures me to have Belgian waffles, pancakes, and French toast now. I love their logo and design labels as it is very simple, easy to read and very home-like appeal without the commercial mass produce look. This maple farm comes with a very cute and adorable gift shop where variation of maple syrup USDA grades are available for purchase. Sales receipts can only be e-mailed or texted to phone due to their register software configuration inability to print and the force to go paperless from the digital age. Finding Home is very ecosystem friendly where gift shop purchases customers are provided brown paper bags. Finding Home participate in a maple weekend for tours, samples and family events in the Hudson Valley. There is a arts and crafts station for children to create art from maple shape leafs which depicts a very autumn look. Lavender sachet $8 I LOVE this very aromatic sachet in a burlap bag. Herbal lip salve balm, lavender $8 I love this lip balm as it sustains moisture in my lips during blustery cold days. This is significantly effective than traditional chap stick. It was an accomplished visit. read more

Hudson valleys hidden charm. We absolutely adore finding homes for its cozy atmosphere, grade A quality products and friendly staff.

Looking for a new, cozy, delightful lunch spot, this is it! The owners are lovely, warm people. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a member of our party on very strict food preferences and they were so accommodating. It's such a charming spot and the esthetics are spot on. They have great gift selections including their own line of candles, jams and baking mixes. Their maple syrup though is the best I have ever had, a much more rounded and buttery flavor and all the variations we tried were fantastic too. We went in winter on an unusually warm day and sat outside after we ate, I can only imagine how nice it is when everything greens up. Definitely a spot to check out, we loved it!! read more
