You have an option to have them drillout parr of the top candle wick area and use three candle with a small LED light. This option illuminates the whole candle with a nice glow. Although tempting to do, we opted to keep it the way it was made. They packed it in a small box with those styrofoam peanuts so it wouldn't get damaged, which was a nice touch. The shop itself is just gorgeously decorated and is like stepping back in time into an apothecary: bottles, vintage wall art, and a green velour chair in the corner for the tired shopper. The proprietor of the shop, Leila Hazou, was so welcoming and when I couldn't find an "Athena" rollerball, she offered to make one for me!! I also ended up purchasing the migraine rollerball that will offer natural relief for those days wrecked by my headaches. My friend couldn't leave the store without purchasing one of Leila's candles. The store hours are Thursdays through Mondays, 11am- 5pm. Leila also has an online store and occasionally offers an in person candle making class, which I look forward to taking in the future.
