We had two broken iPhone 13 Pro maxes that decided to inconveniently crack the back glass. Richard completed the repairs timely and was very effective at communicating. He does excellent work and I will be referring all my friends to him and asking all future repairs to his store Thank you for your excellent work and service :) read more

Stop looking. You found it. I have a bad habit of cracking my iPhone screens and have visited a number of cell phone repair shops in LA and Orange County over the years. Richard has them all beat. I was nervous about getting the back glass replaced on my phone and having just moved to San Diego, was unsure where to go and who to trust. Richard's San Diego Cell Phone Repair has the best and most consistent reviews. FOR GOOD REASON. I had a great impression the second I walked in. He greeted me right away, gave me an eta, quickly wrote out my ticket and I was on my way. It was ready right when he said it was and the replaced glass is beautiful. Something did not seem right when I returned to my car and tried to text my spouse. I panicked and walked back in. Richard was so kind and understanding, started looking at the phone, resolved the issue and even took my number down to follow up with me if there were any additional issues. Needless to say, he definitely knows what he is doing and will take the best care of your device. I really feel indebted to him and I wish I had more devices to get repaired--knowing my luck I will be visiting him real soon. Thank you again, Richard. You really saved me today and I thank you for your professionalism. read more

My step daughter had gotten the tip of the charger stuck in her older samsung phone. We took it in thinking that he'd have to take the phone apart. (We had tried removing it with needle nose plyers) He had the piece out in just a minute. And barely charged us anything. We have been going to him for years. If you need your phone repaired or even to buy a used phone- go see him. read more

Fast service. Reasonable price. Great work. I had my iPad 6 repaired here for broken screen. Recieved multiple quotes via Yelp. They were rated high so I went with thier service. My iPad was fixed the same day. Excellent work! read more

The owner was super helpful, fixed my glass back & replaced my iPhone 14 Pro battery for a super good price & did a good job. Even gave a complimentary screen protector which was super nice of him. read more

Called in and got same day service on an iPhone 12. Very professional. Thought my phone glass was cracked but it was just the screen protector. They told me to just put on a new screen protector and saved me $150. Very honest and friendly. read more

I dropped my work phone and that was it. The screen had shattered. Not horribly but bad enough that I knew I had to get it replaced. I searched on Yelp through location and this was the one with availability and great reviews. My fellow Yelpers did not steer me wrong. I was able to make a same day appointment. Joe took me ten minutes early and was super efficient. Fantastic job. Looks like a brand new phone. At least from the front. My phone was a iPhone 8. The replacement screen cost $80. I thought that was reasonable for same day service. I would definitely recommend San Diego Cell Phone Repair. I hope that I never have to see them again ;) But if I needed to get my personal iPhone screen replaced, I would 100% return. Plus they have soft and comfortable couches to sit on while you wait. read more

This was the third time that Richard of San Diego Cell Phone Repair has repaired my cell phone. And just like the last two times, he has done another outstanding job. The charging port of my Samsung Galaxy S20+5G stopped working, and he was able to fix it in a timely manner and the cost of repair was reasonable. Age of cell phone doesn't matter, brand of cell phone doesn't matter, if it can be fixed, he'll fix it. I highly recommend this company and his services. Thank you once again, Richard! read more

The owner was sooo nice. He looked at my son's phone and realized he just needed to remove a metal piece that was stuck in the battery hole. He didnt even charge us bc he said he didnt need to really fix it. But his time and effort that he gave us was very valuable and priceless. He also made my son very happy. read more

I purchased a Samsung S20+ and I thought my fingerprint reader didn't work. When asked if it could be repaired and mentioned that the camera glass didn't read it, I was informed that the reader is now located in the front of the phone. This information represents above and beyond service and it was free of charge. I would recommend this business based on integrity and ethics. GOOD JOB and thank you. read more

Very quick, Richard provided quality service very friendly. 10/10! Would highly recommend anybody coming here for phone repair

Fast friendly service! I booked online, and was in and out in 30 minutes! Comfy sofas & TV to watch while you wait!

Great fix, even redoing it after having weird problems. If any future problems with any phones, I'll definitely go here. My iphone X screen cracked, even though it was covered with a case & screen protection film. Was super simple to make appt online. New screen was same quality as original. Although I was having weird problems afterwards, so Richard immediately took care of it and replaced it was another screen, no problems, no hassle. He definitely knows what he's doing which shows in both the quality of the repair and the screen. read more

If you need a fix, this is the place to go! I called ahead to verify if they had the replacement part (I thought) I needed. They had it in stock and I came straight away. After a quick assessment, Richard found the problem and fixed it in minutes without needing an extensive repair. Great service, will definitely be back with any future repairs. There is also plenty of parking and easy access to the shop. read more

I met with Joe and he was very professional and did a great job with my phone , I had to replace my battery on my Note 9. It was just about under 30 mins when he finished up, but everything worked and I had my phone with new battery. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you read more

Don't replace your phone, go see these guys first. Convenient and reasonable, plenty of parking.

Went through 3 Defective Screens/Repairs from Merchant, (super frustrating - had to keep coming back to the shop) - they finally refused to fix it again unless full payment was made as a new repair. I believe their replacement screens are very low quality, nothing approximating the original quality of the phone. read more

Great place to get your cell phone repaired! Took my iPhone X with a cracked screen and got it repaired in under an hour. You can tell there was quality work as Richard took the time to explain to me what he did to repair the phone. Price is super competitive and the owner is extremely knowledgeable. If you have a damaged phone look no further cause this is the place to go! read more

I dropped my phone so hard that the corner of screen was pulvalized. I didn't think that there was anything they could do about it but they fixed it only for $150, as opposed to $1000 for a new phone. Then it was sort of not smooth, the screen got stuck and I had to work around that by goingq in and out of the apps. So I took it back and he switched the screen again for no additional cost and it works like nothing has ever happened to it. I highly recommend this place! read more

i was in n out SUPER FAST. from me walking in to me leaving was about 15 mins. my screen was completely black and wouldnt turn on and they fixed it in 10 mins :)) very satisfied with my visit and will definitely come back again. they were professional and the store is very nice inside as well. read more

Legit. Sent my iPhone X with a crack in the back panel. Notoriously expense to repair and even the chain third party places won't dare tackle the repair. The 99 flat + shipping online sold me and was worth the gamble. Phone sent on a Thursday and got back in 7 days. Not bad considering that I live in Wisconsin and it was shipped it all the way to California. Found this business researching YouTube videos and felt comfortable with the approach. Highly recommend. read more

I wholeheartedly give San Diego Cell Phone Repair a 5-star rating!!! I unexpectedly tripped and dropped my phone last summer during a beautiful hike which resulted in a very undesirable cracked screen. Since my phone is quite old, an iPhone 6sPlus, I thought well perhaps it is time for a new phone and resolved to just retire this one. However, since I really did not have the funds for a brand-new phone, I decided to go the more economical route and get the screen repaired since my phone was still in overall good functioning order. Well, I am so glad I did because not only was San Diego Cell Phone Repair convenient and affordable, they did a beautiful job!! I felt like I had a brand-new phone in my hand when they returned it to me, all repaired and with a shiny new screen. So now, almost a year later, I still have my old model iPhone 6s Plus and am completely satisfied. I highly recommend San Diego Cell Phone Repair as they were exactly what I needed at the time and saved me $$$! read more

The screen on my S10+ broke a couple days ago so I reached out to a few shops and they were charging me between $50-$125 MORE than what San Diego Cell Phone Repair was charging me. Richard, the owner, was responsive with communications, reliable, and made my phone like new again in under an hour. I'll always come back here for future repairs and will recommend SD Cell Phone Repair to everyone! read more

Long story short my baby St. Bernard decided to use my phone as a chew toy. I went to my phone carrier only to be quoted over a thousand dollars on a new phone. Prompt email response to my questions. Quick service - Phone was ready in 90 mins ( there were two other devices he was working on when I dropped the device with him - Would be quicker if mine was the only device he had to work on). Reasonable price for the service. Has a lounge area with a couch and TV if you want to hang around while getting your device fixed, though I just killed my time in Mission Valley mall right across the street. Tip: The office is right next to the Hooters entrance on the inside. The signage on the exterior of the building is misleading. read more

They replaced my Samsung Galaxy S8 plus screen for $175 ... I had dropped it and cracked the screen. I thought I might have to buy a new phone but they were able to replace the glass in about three hours. Although no longer water proof (I did not expect it to be) it looks and works like new. They did a great job. Thank you, San Diego Cell Phone Repair! Highly recommended. read more

I always thought the only solution to a cell phone problem was to get a new phone...which is very expensive. I was wrong. My charger port wasn't working properly.
