I will never book with this grooming company again. This was by far one of the most unprofessional…read moreexperiences I've had. I completely understand that emergencies and last-minute situations happen. What I don't understand is the complete lack of communication. My appointment had already been rescheduled once, and when it couldn't be accommodated again, no one bothered to call or text me to let me know. Instead, I was left wasting my time with no explanation. I decided to give this place another chance because I had a positive experience with my previous groomer, but unfortunately, this visit changed my opinion entirely. On top of the poor customer service, the shop itself appeared to lack many of the basic grooming essentials you'd expect from a professional grooming business, which did not inspire confidence. Respecting your customers' time is one of the most basic aspects of good customer service. A simple phone call or text would have made all the difference. Instead, I was left disappointed and frustrated. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this business based on my experience.

** AMAZING - AMAZING - AMAZING **…read more I've been coming to this pet hospital ever since 1996. I've had a few doggies over the years..... It's been about 10 yrs since I've needed to visit an actual veterinarian office. Today was the day I needed to break that record.... My girl Luna gave me a fright. Home remedies weren't helping and I knew she needed to be seen. I called the pet hospital first thing in the morning to explain my concerns and to see if she could be seen. The doctor was completely booked. However, the receptionist offered to leave a message for the doctor to see if he could work us in..... We received a call shortly after to say that the doctor would be able to see us. YAY!! I was so very grateful & relieved.... Since it had been a few years since I've visited, I made sure to arrive early to re-register myself and Luna as a new patient. The front office was very friendly and welcoming. We were taken back right away and the vet tech Vianca was very helpful and kind with my nervous puppers. Dr. Jasdeep Dhaliwal examined Luna. He was absolutely amazing. So kind and patient. He saw that she was nervous to be there and sat on the floor with her..... I was blown away!! You could really tell that he loves taking care of animals. He's most definitely a special kind of person. Our visit was an amazing experience. Everyone provided EXCEPTIONAL service. Everything was straight forward and honest. No one is trying to oversell you things. This pet hospital is a true gem in National City. I am so very grateful that they worked us in and provided such a memorable experience. I highly recommend them!! Thank you Plaza Boulevard Pet Hospital!!

The team at Plaza Blvd is so amazing--when i first noticed "something off" with my german shepherd mowgli, i called a ton of places just going off yelp reviews and recommendations. No one could take us same day, until I reached Plaza. Their friendly staff was like "we are fully booked but i can squeeze you in at X time, you might have to wait a little but should be quick." They were busy, but not busy enough to show extreme compassion for mowgli and myself--they gave him pets and quickly diagnosed him with an infection. They were reassuring, not scary at all, and just instilled so much trust from the first visit. I left with antibiotics and suggestions for next steps (extractions) and what everything would cost. The team was professional and caring, and prices were fair. I'll be taking Mowgli here for the rest of his life!

The facility looked well kept and clean. There's a very big selection on dogs specifically and if you are a bit educated about shelter pets and are willing to be patient and maybe even consider some training, you will find a pet there for sure. I always like to remind people, specifically people who've never done this before, this is a place where animals from all walks of life get taken to. Some of them, if not most, will be showing some signs of kennel stress. It's always good to take your time with looking at them and ask as many questions as you can. Adoption is not something one should be impulsive about.

They would not accept that and told me I would be charged with animal abandonment which is insane because they used to have cages you can leave pets in after hours ? I didn't have a choice but to leave the dog . I thought I was doing a good deed to prevent the dog from getting hit but left feeling with regrets . One of the employees stepped in front of my car to prevent me to leave which is false imprisonment and I will counter sue for . They were also screaming at me while I was leaving , officer that came in didn't try to deescalate or see what the situation was . Crazy how our tax dollars are being spent . Sad part is that I wanted to give them my information in case the pups owner were not found . I just saw a collar and tag and assumed she was chipped and wanted to do the right thing . I hope she is doing well , although all this drama came from it I will not let these people make me feel bad for doing the right thing .
