I had a great experience at Barking Spot! They groomed my Frenchie and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The staff was friendly, professional, and really efficient. My little boy came out smelling amazing (not too strong, which I really appreciate since he has sensitive skin and allergies). His nails were perfectly trimmed, and best of all, he didn't seem stressed at all when I picked him up. You can tell they really care about the dogs. Definitely coming back! read more

I have been coming to Barking Spot from the grand opening when Victoria was the owner - and clearly she not only has an infectious love for dogs (animals) she values the people she works with and her customers. Very soon my wife and I built a rapport with Lena & Sammy which I cannot say enough of other than they have become part of our family. This being said, it was evident that they new owner did not share these virtues - high turn around of people, does not value the veterans that bring in the loyal customers, in it for the money, period. I don't feel he even likes animals! Or people for that matter - speaks only to how many workers just come and go. When we heard that the only 2 people (Lena & Sam) were leaving on account of the working conditions that the owner is establishing, came to no surprise. Hence I will not be going back. They lost 2 fine groomers and overall good humans, and a business like that does not deserve to stay in business, how they treat people is how they will treat your fur-babies. Please, Stay Away!!! read more

My pup smells so clean and his nails are cut just right. He didn't look anxious like at his previous groomers which is a major plus. Thanks for taking care of Mojo read more

Given recent positive reviews by fellow yelpers, it was time to give Barking Spot a fair shake and bring Max back in for a bath. We scheduled an appointment, dropped him off. 30 minutes later Max was ready. Nails trimmed, dry, and fresh as a daisy! He looked so handsome in his red striped bandana cape. Thank you for taking such good care of Max! Barking Spot offers 10% for first responders. read more

My dogs come here to get their baths/grooming and never disappoint when I pick them up. I have a senior mix poodle and they are able to give a good cut if needed. With our corgi, he sheds a lot so they are do great at de shedding. If you call, sometimes they don't answer but they are great at via text message and will be able to respond fairly quickly. Great at answering questions and booking appointments through via text. Give Barking Spot a try for your fur babies! read more

It was our puppy's first experience at a groomer. I was worried to leave her with strangers. But when I went to pick her up, her groomer said she was the sweetest pup. Her haircut came out perfect! Thank you Samantha for treating her with care. She even gave her a cute little purple bow to match her collar. We will definitely be back. read more

Barking Spot Dog Grooming is, quite simply, the best grooming service we have ever encountered. We've been bringing our beloved Maltipoo here for over a year, and the results are consistently spectacular. On our first visit, the groomer, Sammi, really impressed us by asking if we had any special requests. In a moment of whimsy, my wife asked if our dog could get a Mohawk--and the outcome was absolutely stunning! The Mohawk is sharp, stylish, and perfect for her personality. People constantly compliment her unique look, and we've kept the style ever since. If you want top-tier, personalized, and truly creative grooming, look no further than Barking Spot. They treat your pet like royalty and deliver stunning, professional results every single time. read more

I wanted to give this place a try since it's close by. This was my dog's fastest grooming session so far taking just over an hour. I could hear my Samoyed barking nonstop from a distance and realized that she was put in a crate while waiting for pickup. She isn't crate trained and their website advertises that they are cage free so I'm really disappointed with that. Grooming was okay, I wish they trimmed her nails though read more

My dog's belly was shaved for absolutely no reason!!! We have been growing her hair for 2 years now since she was diagnosed with thyroid disease. We specified no trimming at the sani area but instead they shaved around the sani area plus extending it to her belly. Why? Animal cruelty as you never shave a Husky to begin with. If you schedule with a specific groomer, they will not let you know if that groomer is not going to be there to for you to reschedule. The first bad experience, I let go. This one, I could not. Pre grooming photo and post grooming photo attached for context. read more
