My dog's belly was shaved for absolutely no reason!!! We have been growing her hair for 2 years now since she was diagnosed with thyroid disease. We specified no trimming at the sani area but instead they shaved around the sani area plus extending it to her belly. Why? Animal cruelty as you never shave a Husky to begin with. If you schedule with a specific groomer, they will not let you know if that groomer is not going to be there to for you to reschedule. The first bad experience, I let go. This one, I could not.
