I liked this place when we first went but a day after one of my dogs grooming they had a vet appointment. The vet said their ears were filthy. We tried one more time and a day after grooming they stunk so bad, we figured out because they hadn't been dried all the way! Not to mention staff on the weekend is exceptionally rude (isn't the normal staff we were used to dealing with) when we used the self washing tubs. Never again will we go here. read more

I used the self dog wash service for my German Shepherd. When I arrived, I was greeted and told it would be $20 and that everything I needed was provided, which sounded great at first. However, once I started bathing my dog, I realized the shampoo was extremely watered down, and there were only two brushes available. I always use conditioner on my dogs, but when I asked for some, they told me it wasn't included. Instead, I'd have to go across the street to their store and buy it, which wasn't really reasonable in the middle of a bath. About 20 minutes in, one of the employees asked if I wanted to purchase extra time. That's when I learned the $20 only covers 30 minutes, which they never mentioned upfront. By that point, I was already frustrated and the staff didn't seem particularly friendly or helpful, and the experience felt rushed and incomplete. For the price, I expected more transparency and better supplies. I guess I'll just make the drive to Petco next time ... it's also $20, includes everything (plus conditioner), and there's no time limit. read more

AMAZING. Wish I came here sooner for my other dog. Literally 5 minutes away from my house. My dog was extremely matted from when my parents were taking care of her for a bit so I decided to have her completely shaved. Brought her in today at 9am, got a call at 1230 that she was ready. I went in, nervous to see what my dog looked like completely shaved and when I saw her, I fell in LOVE. They exceed my expectations and even gave her the cutest style for free! She didn't look scared or unhappy when I picked her up and I can tell the workers here really care for these dogs. My princess is very particular about people. She hates 33288567990 people but loves Elizabeth. She loves coming in to IB Groomin' and getting bathed. They do such a good job with her and make her look so perfect every time. She always smells so good and feels so soft and clean. We had an appointment for the first time with both of our pups and it took 15 minutes and us calling them on the phone to get someone to acknowledge us being there. Then when we tried to talk to the person trying to check us in she had no idea what was even going on. Just staring blankly and all we were asking for was just a regular bath and a nail trim for our dogs. She then kept asking if we wanted a bath for our dogs like 5 times and going around in circles. I have been to many different groomers and every single time I go something always happens.. my dog has been traumatized in the past where he has gotten hurt with other groomers to the point that they burn his skin with the clippers or they cut his skin. He wasn't a difficult dog before but ever since his experiences he's been difficult and it has been a challenge to find the right groomer to cut his hair. It was my first time going to IB Groomin and the minute they called me to pick him up. I was extremely shocked that they were able to cut his hair and his nail. Super reasonable price. I took my 2 Frenchies and 1 English Bulldog and they were able to take care of them in less than 2 hours considering how busy they were. One of my frenchie has a little bit of separation anxiety and definitely hates baths. The staff was so patient with her and took care of her well. I have three dogs. Two of them need haircuts and one of them doesn't. The one who doesn't need a haircut barely has any hair, the other two get fluffy with hair on their footpads,so it's obvious which ones need haircuts and which one doesn't. My "complicated" instructions were the same every time: They all needed a shampoo, nails done, anal glands expressed, and two needed a haircut and one didn't. I thought that was pretty standard. Plus, The white one had cancer and radiation treatment to her butt so I need to know if they are unable to express her anal glands so I can take her to the vet for expression or she'll get abscesses. I told them what I needed when I called and repeated it when I dropped them off. They were disorganized and never once got it right. I had been there three times with my three dogs and each time they forgotten something pretty major. TWICE they completely forgot one of the haircuts (out of two), and once they forgot to do the nails on two of the dogs. Hopefully you will be seeing a lot better reviews in the future as they make some adjustments and come up with a system that enables them to keep track of what the different dogs need. read more

Went here because it was cheap an close for a nail trim. Unfortunately will not be returning , the cut was done crooked and you can still hear his nails on the floor . Also noticed one may not have been cut at all. We have taken him to different places that were more expensive an didn't have this issue. I'll be opting to pay a little more now an have definitely learned my lesson sometimes when things are this cheap you might just get exactly what you paid for . My husband and I were really hoping this place would be a good fit maybe we had an unexperienced nail clipper. We have been bringing our two Yorkie's to IB Grooming for years. I would say I can't remember anytime they allowed us same day service which I noticed many of the one star complaints come from. We are always scheduled days out and some time weeks out. IB Grooming is priced very well and they are not perfect. In other words if you want "Show" quality you probably need to go somewhere else. I've always been treated well as a customer. No they don't jump up and down do baby talk to my dogs they are professional. My one and only complaint is I have asked to be called every two months for scheduled appointment and I have to contact them. My conclusion is they are very busy. Why?
