I love Shampooch! They begin grooming my pet at the appointment time, so he is only there barely over one hour. This is so less stressful for my yorkie cause he is not sitting in a cage having separation anxiety while waiting for his turn and ultimately spending an entire morning or afternoon at the salon. He is always given back to me with a 10 star groom looking sharp and very happy! My pup Bentley and I recommend! read more

My daughter has been very worried taking her elderly dog to get groomed. Our poor dog was very traumatized by a previous groomer. She was very cautious taking him to a new groomer. Shampooch was so kind and caring to her fur baby. He came home so happy and looking handsome. Thank you so much for taking good care of her Max. He's looking forward to his next grooming with you. read more

Roman and the entire staff always take amazing care of my baby. They handle her so gently and always have her looking so pretty, clean, and smelling like blueberries! This is the only place I trust with my French Bulldog. Even though I don't live nearby anymore, I don't mind making the extra drive because they're truly the best. I left a great review on Yelp a year ago, and here I am again -- still just as happy and impressed with their service. I highly recommend Shampoosh -- the employees are kind, respectful, and genuinely care about the pets they groom. Very happy client! read more

We have taken different fur friends here over the years. This time was a challenge. A goldendoddle who was in desperate need of a grooming. The girls there were amazing and understanding of how Miss Ginger is just a pup. They made her so happy and cooler. had a wonderful experience with this pet grooming service! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly very caring toward animals. They took the time to listen to my concerns, especially since my dog is older and needs gentle handling. The grooming itself was excellent--my dog came out looking clean, well-trimmed, and happy. I really appreciated the attention to detail and how patient they were throughout the entire process. It's not easy trusting someone with your pet, but they made me feel completely comfortable. What stood out the most was how kind and professional the team was. You can tell they truly love what they do. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate, and high-quality pet grooming! read more

Best pet grooming shop in San Diego. Daniel is a great guy. Took dogs in for nailing clipping. Fast and efficient.

Appreciation post: our dogs, Lani (15) and Lina (14), have been coming here for years. The staff here has always maintained a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and love and care for our babies. We knew we had it good at Shampooch, but I don't think we realized how good until we moved out of San Diego in 2019. Seriously, take it from someone who has searched and searched and searched for a half way decent and reliable groomer the past 5 years -- you cannot go wrong with Shampooch. They're so good and their prices so competitive that I'm honestly shocked we're still able to find openings when we visit every 3-4 months. So do yourself and your fur baby or babies a favor and book with Shampooch. You won't regret it. read more

I have been going here for about 5 years with my two small dogs. They always do a great job and are always nice.

My Spot didn't have the best experience at another groomers so I was hesitant to take him anywhere else. But I decided to give Shampooch a try and I'm glad I did. He's a short haired dog so he doesn't need a haircut and I mainly take him to get his nails cut since he doesn't let me do it but always end up getting him the bath special and he comes back looking nice and clean with the cutest bandanas. Staff is always very nice as well. read more

If you love your dog... don't bring it here. I used to take my dogs here with the previous owner, she was great!! today I took both of my dogs in to get groomed and they refused to give them a schnauzer cut because they were "too matted"according to the lady. She also refused to bathe them unless we agreed to shave them completely down because otherwise it would hurt them to brush the few matted hair strands on their stomachs. These dogs are used to hand stripping which they don't offer, if they knew anything about it, they would understand that hand stripping is actual pulling of the hair and it actually does not hurt the double coated schnauzers like I have. She was just being lazy and didn't want to take on two hairy dogs. FYI : Your dogs almost never really need to be shaved down unless they are severely matted. The razor actually causes more harm than putting conditioner and brushing it out. read more

I like that they are very timely.and Great with the dogs my dogs are not crying when I pick them up.

I am updating my review. I was a customer since this place opened, but the quality of service and that energy that made them special is gone. I wonder if they are under new management or new owner. My pups hairs cuts are now uneven. The groomers told me they attended dog show competitions and my pup would get that quality style cuts. The quality went from a high end Beverly Hills Salon to a Super Cuts. This is the best way for me to explain it. I am hoping the owners read this and internalize and make the improvements or go back to what it was once before. I like when I walked in everyone knew my pups name and asked how she's been. It's those little things that are missing. read more

I bring my terrier mix here to be groomed. It's across town for me, but this is the only place that returned my call so I decided to give them a try. I have had my dog groomed here twice and I couldn't be happier. It's been a week since he was groomed and he still feels soft and smells good. They take such good care of my dog here so it's worth the drive, they are very friendly and reasonably priced. My dog always looks so happy hanging out with the other dogs when I go to pick him up. They always text me a reminder and give me some notice when my dog will be done so I can be there when they finish. This place is awesome, when my dog is happy, I'm happy :) read more
