I saw Dr. Rosenberg for my regular eye check-up. Once again, I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I seriously do not know what happened with the patients writing such negative reviews. Luckily, I have only experienced wonderful care from the doctor and her staff. The woman who assisted me at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. She checked me right in and the man took me back right away. No delays whatsoever. While giving me the full eye exam, the man was so warm and gracious. He was personable yet professional. I felt his testing was very thorough. I waited only a couple of minutes to be seen by my doctor. She greeted me warmly, was familiar with her notes from my last visit one and a half years ago. We went over my family history, and she gave me her detailed opinion on everything. I felt very cared for and felt I was in very competent hands. The business itself, is clean and organized. The front desk area is open and cheerful. It feels so much warmer than a big doctor's office at the hospital. My appointment for a full consultation, exam and visit with the doctor took less than one hour. I fully recommend Dr. Rosenberg and her team for quality care in a pleasant atmosphere.

While on a recent trip to NY my eyesight got really blurry 3 times. During the 3rd time I figured I better call a doc to make sure I wasn't going blind. First I called my OBGYN because I've decided that anything that's wrong with me these days must be a sign of pregnancy. However, the physician assistant assured me that blurry vision is NOT a symptom of pregnancy and I should probably call me internist. And then yet another physician assistant at my internist told me the doctor to call was probably my eye doctor. So that's how I found myself back at Dr Yang's office 4 years later. After a 40 min wait (ugh) I saw a super nice assistant who told me I'm pretty much blind (been so since I was 10) and I should probably wear contacts or glasses. I explained that my eyes don't like contacts and my vanity doesn't like glasses, but I do wear them for safety reasons when I drive. It's also kind of nice being able to ignore people I don't like on the streets by using the blind excuse. No contacts/glasses for me! The assistant was very thorough and then after another wait (this one much shorter) I saw the one and only Dr Yang. Dr Yang was very pleasant, asked me many questions, examined my eyes and said he couldn't find anything wrong (besides my very poor eyesight). Weeks later I haven't had additional 'blurry vision" episodes so I think it may have been a symptom of an awful sinus infection I came down with a few days later, but regardless it was nice to get checked out.

Dr. Yang did a great job on my cataract surgery. I'm 70 years old and only need reading glasses to read the newspaper. 175 - down from 325!

Doctors are good. The waiting is intolerable. They need to fix their scheduling system to meet with reality.

I think I found the best internist, EVER. Setting up an appointment was a breeze - the…read morereceptionist, Angie, is a sweetheart, and she was able to squeeze me in when luckily there was a cancellation. The office is located off of St. Clair in the Northwestern Memorial building (and there is validated parking available); the office is very cute, clean, and modern, and I waited less than 10 minutes after my scheduled time (which is pretty much unheard of; the receptionist also apologized which I thought was ridiculous!). I filled out basic medical history and such on their patient portal beforehand, which I thought was quite convenient and makes things more efficient. I was really excited with all the raving reviews on not only on Yelp, but on other health websites that rated Dr. O'Mara. When the doc walked in, she was extremely nice, very knowledgeable, straightforward, a great listener, gentle, professional, and very informative. She listened to all of my health issues as well as my thoughts and opinions, and basically gave me a plan of action. She took her time with me, asking questions, and the whole time, I was not felt rushed! The best thing is that she was very genuine and I was extremely comfortable, being a new patient with all these high expectations! There is a lab on-site, and the phlebotomist, Lauren P., was so sweet and kind, and drawing blood was not at all uncomfortable (considering I have a very low threshold of pain and am such a pansy!). Dr. O'Mara and everyone on staff seems to be extremely detail-oriented and organized (which I absolutely love). The high ratings on the doc do not do her justice - she really is AWESOME. I have a follow-up next week am actually looking forward to a doctor's appointment - isn't that crazy?! I am looking forward in being Dr. O'Mara's patient for years to come! +ask for Angie, the receptionist :D +Dr. O'Mara = AWESOME +limited parking (park at garage)

I wish I could give Dr. O'Mara higher praise than 5 stars. I have recommended friends and…read morecoworkers alike, and now I recommend her to you. Dr. O'Mara's office is a clean, modern one-physician practice. She exhibits all of the professionalism and knowledge I have come to expect and appreciate from Northwestern practitioners and affiliates. I was randomly assigned to her through Northwestern's physician referral practice after I suffered a serious medical event and I was shocked by how great my experiences with her have been. My initial consultation was in her office, where she interviewed me about all of my health concerns, family history, and really took the time to get to know both me as a person and my health issues. Despite a relatively complicated health history, Dr. O'Mara has gone above and beyond. She takes the time to research issues about my medicine and listens to my questions, no matter how silly they may seem to me, in a non judgmental environment. She has followed up on problems or before procedures through phone calls about things I, at times, hadn't even thought about. She is always eager to explain these things to me. She truly cares about her patient's well being and happiness -- even following up on what I thought about places she had sent me for a referral. In short, I have never received this level of care with any doctor before. Her assistant, Angie, is also very nice and helpful. To top it off, it's extremely easy to make appointments here, and Dr. O'Mara keeps an electronic portal where you can ask her questions, view your test results quickly, and access other features from your visits. If you need a new internal medicine doctor, visit Dr. O'Mara.
