They're professional and completely dedicated to satisfying the customer, and competively priced. I checked them out thoroughly, talking with former customers and viewing several of their jobs, before hiring them. Of the 3 companies I had bid the roof project they were the only one to run the numbers in front of me (in writing), and present me with copies of their license, insurance certificate and shingle samples. They were also the only ones to supply references. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Professional, experienced, reliable work done by considerate craftsmen. Universal has done numerous repairs for us at our home and we couldn't be happier. The latest was to reinstall a storm door that separated from the door jamb after years of water leakage (that Artan fixed last year), but the damage was done and the stud was rotted. Ed and Jose did a fantastic job and carefully removed all the rotted wood, replaced it with new wood, then expertly reinstalled the door, which works perfectly now. This was not an easy task and they worked diligently until it was done. I highly recommend Universal Roofing and Chimney for any phase of construction job. read more
