I can't say enough good things about Universal Remodeling. They recently replaced our flooring, all the baseboards, re-tiled the entryway, installed a ceiling fan, and handled a bunch of smaller touch-ups -- and everything came out flawless. What really impressed me was how detail-oriented they were. These guys are perfectionists -- they noticed and fixed things I wouldn't have even caught. It's rare to find a contractor who treats your home with such care and pride. Professional, punctual, and incredibly skilled. I'll be calling them again without hesitation!

Mario and his team were amazing. They finished way ahead of time and even did some repairs without charge. I would strongly recommend them.

I purchased whole brand new cabinets the same day he quoted me . He gave me excellent pricing and design to replace my old cabinets that was made from laminated wood. He also gave me solution to keep my natural stone countertop. My new kitchen is how I want io be. All customized to my needs. Thanks 405 cabinets!

Yep, I decided to start with the positive and in this case the GOOD is **insert drum roll here** Dang Nguyen! He was so patient and always had such a positive can-do attitude. Let me start from the beginning. I was feeling overwhelmed with my remodel. The contractor had done his best to replicate the cabinets I had, with the new ones. However, staring at the CAD rendering didn't put me at ease. Did I mention I am a type A personality. So the contractor, myself and Dang sat together and starting at one end of my kitchen going through to the very last cabinet. We looked at every single drawer and cabinet placement including where the appliances would go. I think I was bending their ear for at least an hour or so with constant questions. We double checked measurements, discussed inserts and if Dang needed clarification or if I had a concern Dang never rolled his eyes or tried to shut me up. He allowed me to "ask away" and never tried to scoot me out of the store. The fact that he was professional, patient, and created such a comfortable environment he deserves enormous recognition, respect, and a pay raise! When a cabinet or drawer didn't work out because of measurement changes, he always had a suggestion. For example, I don't cook but I love those pullout spice racks. You know, those narrow pullout drawers. I don't use them for spices but they are so helpful for other things. Another example is the stackable insert for the silverware drawer. I love gadgets so when I saw this in the show room, well of course this girlie needed to have it. I know it's not a new idea, but for me, and my 35 year old kitchen - it was a big deal and I am thrilled to say I love it. Another example, their showroom had at least 4-5 different trash bin drawers to chose from! What??? Now I am giddy with the idea that I don't need to put the trash bin under the sink. The BAD. For months, prior to selecting a contractor, my heart was set on the color "Sage" for my kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately 405 Cabinets & Stone didn't have that color selection. I was so impressed working with Dang, I actually changed my mind and went with a different color that is sold there. Am I sad about the color, I would be lying if I said no. But, once I make up my mind, I go all in. In this case all in means sage color accessories! My point here is turning a bad/sad experience, into a positive one. More importantly, I want to tell the store owner it was because of Dang, I ended up purchasing nearly everything at his store. Mirrors, bathroom vanities, hallway closet cabinets etc... The UGLY, two words Parking Sucks! (enough said) I hope this lengthy Yelp review is helpful - ask for Dang, and don't panic if you can't find a place to park. **insert smile here**

No drama, no surprises, their pricing, their selection, they don't try to "step on" every vendor that is involved. We chose our own slab, the team Lu Na brought together respects her, knows her to be true to her promises. They were in and out of here in record time. If they said they were going to be here, they were. No drama! Everyone was professional, friendly, TOP NOTCH in their skill set, and Lu Na was in and out as well to make sure everything was going to her plan. I loved this experience so much I am planning to pay for an ad in my local women's club newsletter because EVERYONE IN HUNTINGTON BEACH has been looking for reliable vendors and this team is here & we just happened upon them (I had been taking bids since September. 11 months we were at this. I'm really not that difficult, but we hired (and also fired) mid-work because the other vendors weren't reliable. We even tried Ikea. They designed but didn't install. We had people come in and give us bids and then no show afterwards. We were referred to a company in Tustin, and it just didn't feel right. He was talking me into something I didn't want because he couldn't provide what we did want. That day, a mere 3 weeks ago, we were driving on Gothard. It was 4:45 pm, and we saw the HUNTINGTON CABINETS storefront. It was 4:45 and the door was open. We had just come from that vendor in Tustin who didn't have the inventory we wanted (and he was so difficult). HUNTINGTON CABINETS had the inventory. She came to the house, did her own measurements, guided us with her expertise, and today is the final of the final. We are living (and loving) the work and the BIG DIFFERENCE Huntington Cabinets has made to our day to day here. They freshened up 3 bathrooms. They were in and out of here in record time. The trades were superb. And I love that we not only got what we wanted, but on the day of, their workers would effortlessly agree to small side enhancements to other areas that made such a BIG difference without having to make a second trip back (we did a kitchen remodel years ago and had extra porcelain but were missing a backsplash in one area. Well, you know how hard it is to get a mini job scheduled). While here, the slab installation team took it on and stayed a little longer to get it done. Who does that? Let me tell you who does that: THE TEAM THAT HUNTINGTON CABINETS HAS --- independent craftspeople you can select to use (we did) who respect the woman owner of Huntington Cabinets and I can understand why. She's knowledgeable, respects your time and there's no hidden agenda. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the work they did and wholeheartedly (from the rooftops!) are delighted we chose to work with Huntington Cabinets this October 2025. Go Lu Na!!!!

Todd was extremely knowledgeable and helped us design our dream house with a fantastic new layout and modern design. He provides three dimensional drawings and has a plethora of cabinets, hardware, and countertops on display in his Huntington Beach office. They replaced every inch of our main sewer line and found a way for us to move our laundry room inside. Todd and his team easily removed one load-bearing interior wall to create an open floor plan and built an addition to make our master bathroom larger. Todd has a consistent crew who works with him. The crew is super friendly, skilled at their job, and keeps everything clean. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure working with Todd. He stayed on budget and everything was completed the way we wanted it. He is the whole package. We would highly recommend him for any project big or small.
