The installation…read morecrew was fantastic: they arrived consistently at 7:30am every day and stayed late to see that the roof was finished as quickly as possible (and before the snow hit two days later). The crew was the most professional work crew we've ever had on our property in 16 years, and super friendly too. We have two young kids who loved greeting the crew each morning and saying goodnight in the evening (and I didn't worry that the kids would overhear adult language, etc from these guys!). The crew cleaned up the site (no small task) every night and did a very thorough final clean up on the last day. There was minimal damage to landscaping as the old roof was torn off (we anticipated there would be some, given that it's a heavily planted yard). Scott Daniels, Vice President, was easy to work with from start to finish. There was only one miscommunication issue, really based on the fact that the estimate and contract process was preformed in August and the work wasn't done until January. But Scott had his crew take care of it and the job was completed as expected and still on time. The only negative was that Washington Roofing was booked so far out, but really, isn't that a good indication when a company is in high demand? For reference, our house has had more than five additions over it's 92 years, so the roof has multiple sections and a variety of pitches. It was no piece-of-cake project. The copper colored metal roof looks fantastic and it's great to know we'll never have to replace this roof as long as we live. Thanks Washington Roofing! If you want a metal roof, this is the company you should be calling.

Arnie and his team did a complete remodel of the exterior of our home in Sheridan, OR. The work…read moreover several months included: 1. Removal of composition roof, repair of any bad wood panels, and installation if a new metal, standing seam roof with peak vents, in roof vents where needed, new gutters and down spouts. He also worked around existing skylights. 2. Removal of original vinyl siding, repair of a number of bad wood panels, and installation of new Hardie Board siding and soffits. They also painted all the new siding and trim. 3. Removal of original Trex deck across back of house, installed new poured concrete footings (to code) including extra footings to support a spa on deck, and then installed a Timbertech Azek deck with powder coated steel railings and Timbertech stairs. He also handled the wiring before spa removal and after reinstallation. Arnie's team worked hard and did a professional job, always cleaning up and organizing the work site. Arnie was very pleasant to work with and was always available to answer questions and meet if needed. This was an expensive project, but his prices were competitive with other contractors and he was the only one who actually got up on the old roof to inspect the job instead of standing 30' away. I'd highly recommend Arnie and Optimus for this sort of work. I know he does other type of contracting, but these three areas are those with which we have experience. Great guy, great company.
