Very friendly staff and a cute little place. The biscoff cake was fantastic! It had a great flavor and wasn't too sweet.

Very dirty place. The front door is dirty! They didn't clean the window. I can't eat like this. No worker there!

Southern Spice is a solid 4 star Indian restaurant in Las Colinas, which is full of similar…read moreoptions, due primarily to great value. I haven't had vada pav sliders before but the filling is kind of like fried samosa filling without the dough. It's good. The serving size of the biryani was very impressive. You can see from the photo that they fill the container and then add another mound of rice on top of that - basically 2 servings (we took one home). And they didn't skimp on the chicken either! The chicken is cooked perfectly, the sauces are a great complement and this is an excellent dish. The Lunch Thali gives you a lot of bang for your buck and mine included ~5 pieces of fish fry, about the same amount of veg pakora, yogurt dip, chicken curry with rice, 2 different soups, a naan/tortilla thing, and a carrot dessert (like a halwa). All had good flavor and the soups have a nice spicy kick to them. However, since all the dishes for the thali come off the lunch line (ie all premade), the tortilla, fish and pakoras had been sitting out for awhile and not too hot. Had they come out fresh from the fryer, I might have given this experience 5 stars. As it stands, I'll probably be back for lunch anyways - and the thali is available 7 days a week!

But not if you're not going to train the employees the difference between a dosa and a samosa. Pretty much my worst dosa experience in 8 years in DFW.

We decided to visit Sanjh for a friend's birthday. It was quite busy on a Saturday evening. Our…read morereservation was at 7 pm. The atmosphere was upscale and the prices reflected it. Our server was attentive and explained the menu was more "Modern Indian" food versus "Traditional Indian" food. We followed our server's lead and ordered the Bharwan Paneer Tikka along with traditional Somosas for appetizers. The Samosas were tasty but were a bit on the tiny side. The Bharwan Paneer Tikka was the standout dish of the evening. For our main dishes, we ordered the Dal Tadka, Bhindi Do Pyaza, and New Delhi Butter Chicken. We ordered some additional Garlic Naan and White Rice to accompany the main dishes. All the dishes were pretty standard without being too spicy. You might be a little disappointed if you like your Indian Food on the spicier level. We finished off with Rasmali and Kulfi Falooda. The Rasmali was the highlight of dessert. The flavors of pistachio and the accompanying sauce was a great combination. Overall, Sanjh is a fancy Indian Restaurant. I would return for a special event given the upscale atmosphere. You also have to open to interpretations of traditional Indian Cuisine.

Delicious casual spot for South Indian parottas and rotis…read more Our group of 6 ordered family style, with one parotta each. The food arrived quickly, and we found everything delicious--can't speak to authenticity, though! \\ chicken 65 - the chicken was delightfully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside - very flavorful and not too spicy \\ cauliflower manchurian - didn't know cauliflower could be this texture! also crispy and a little chewy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside - the manchurian sauce was a little tangy, a little spicy \\ mutton biriyani - easily two servings and was plenty for our group with the other dishes, too - fragrant rice with punchy spices and warm lamb that wasn't too gamey \\ mutton curry with parotta - this was my favorite curry--a little spicy, very savory - the parotta were so fresh and crispy and soft! i could eat just parotta but it carried the curry so well too \\ butter chicken with parotta - a little sweet and pretty spicy - doesn't look like a big dish but a little goes a long way \\ mango lassi - sweet, creamy - the perfect counter to the spicy curries The menu says they don't accept tip, and the service was fantastic regardless. There's plenty of parking nearby. A little pricey but would love to visit again, maybe for the weekend thali!
