We had several family issues going on at the time and I will always be thankful that God put him in our path. Derick, didn't treat us as money he treated us like family. Without you, Excellence wouldn't survive. Thank you for everything you have done. You and your team have played an essential role in the well-being of our father/uncle. providing a compassionate approach to our father/uncle's treatment, Your bedside manor and the ability to gently handle him has made a significant difference in our lives. Painting needed Several staff were compassionate ( and saved the day for Mgt) however many were not ( on their phones). Memory Care quality very lacking as if a patient is incontinent, unless you're there and push the staff to toilet/change them, they sit there or lie in their bed for hours. Don't expect them to help getting their teeth brushed either. Long story but you're lucky if they get it done. UNLESS you push the issue. Food mediocre at best. Activity provided but if a patient is unable to participate no effort to help or get them engaged. Staff to patient ratio very low. This area had about 20 patients and no more than two staff so if one was busy with meds or changing a patient, the other was responsible for everything else like entering or exiting visitor due to the lockdown policy. Forget the positive online reviews and if you tour, ask other visitors their thoughts. Maybe AL is satisfactory but MC is way below expectations.

I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.
