There were easily accessible outdoor gardens, safe and secure. I appreciated having them available to my daily use. There was always an activity going on, inviting to all who were interested. I simply cannot forget Ice Cream Fridays. Definitely among the highlights of my week. The staff always had special goings-on. Circus was one week that was fun. I deliver food for Meals on Wheels every Wednesday and never once have they dropped the ball in any way. Every person working in the organization that I have met is caring and compassionate. The attention to food quality blows me away. They strictly follow a protocol that is impressive. The hot and cold food temperature is checked and rechecked before being placed into appropriate travel containers for my use. The containers are cleaned after every use. Sanitation is very important. The entire organizations concern over the well being of those being served is honorable. Everybody on the food delivery route is known and cared for by name. A wellness check is a priority along with a hot and cold meal. This is a great organization and one that asks each volunteer to commit to one year of service. It is a worthy cause and this is an awesome place to be involved with.
