When I told the employee my story, they rolled their eyes and said the other employee was lazy and didn't do their job. I about pulled out their teeth to get them to find out the status of my claim. They kept telling me that I didn't give it enough time. Could you just check! I still don't have an answer. They told me there's no change of address confirmation letter. No such thing. I'll wait another week. If nothing, I guess I'll go directly to Tampa to resolve my issue.

The USPS is not visible from Pines Blvd and is at the far back of the plaza with limited close parking. The interior was spacious and busy but waited only 5-10 minutes. This specific package was important to ship out today. The postal service officer scanned my package and circled the tracking number on my receipt. She asked me to apply her performance rating on the digital screen with a choice of three faces - frown, dull and smiley. It is the last turn before 27, but is set back and kind of hidden. Once you park in the large lot (which also has mail boxes to drop off mail from your car), you enter to rows of PO Boxes. As you go left, there is a large counter area where you can prepare your mail and head to the counter to send it out, buy stamps, or pick up a package that may be waiting for you. The staff at this location is always attentive and friendly. There is usually only 1-3 people in line when I come here, but they usually only have one person working the counter. This can cause you to wait a few minutes because the clerk is friendly and attentive to whatever services you may need. The pricing is based on a national rate, so all post offices should be the same. You can take care of your passport stuff here too. Life hack: ship it priority and get free tracking! If a nice, clean post office with a friendly staff is your jam, check out this location. You'll surely be greeted with a smile.

What makes this particularly suspicious is that the employees who packaged the watches were the only people at the shipping location who knew what was inside. Now that it has happened a second time, I am demanding a full investigation. I intend to pursue every available reporting channel, including UPS corporate, a formal UPS claim, the BBB, Florida consumer protection authorities, and the Pembroke Pines Police Department. I am deeply concerned about the handling and security of valuable merchandise at this location. This location is actually a bit farther from my house than the actual post office but I really don't mind driving there in order to not deal with the issues I stated above. The clerks are always helpful and the last time I was there the clerk actually told me a way to save money on the item I was mailing. I don't think I've ever waited more than five minutes getting helped. In all fairness, I've never gone there during the holiday season so it might be different. but the times I have been there it's always been an easy and positive experience. I also needed some stamps the last time I was there and although the choices weren't as many as you might get at a larger post office it was still fine.
