Friendly clerks who smile like they don't know they work for one of the most famously sluggish institutions in America. Lines move. People actually seem to get what they came for. It's a post office that dares to flirt with efficiency. It's still the USPS, so don't expect champagne service and caviar stamps. But if you're going to mail a package, dodge jury duty letters, or ship your mother-in-law's fruitcake back to wherever it came from, you could do a hell of a lot worse. The USPS is not visible from Pines Blvd and is at the far back of the plaza with limited close parking. The interior was spacious and busy but waited only 5-10 minutes. This specific package was important to ship out today. The postal service officer scanned my package and circled the tracking number on my receipt. She asked me to apply her performance rating on the digital screen with a choice of three faces - frown, dull and smiley. I told her to please smile and after she did I tapped a green smile face and left. It was simple but if possible, I prefer local UPS Store drop off locations.

Doesn't affect me because I'm not involved luckily. The office is always lit up real nice and the place is always clean. I love using their self service kiosk because it is so much easier using it compared to standing in an endless line to pay at the front. The parking is huge in terms of spots and I like how it is very well lit and the parking lot is always busy, however you'll never be hunting for a spot because of how many spaces there is. They offer P.O. Boxes here and the prices vary on how long you have one and the size of them. Pretty decent prices on the rentals! It is the last turn before 27, but is set back and kind of hidden. Once you park in the large lot (which also has mail boxes to drop off mail from your car), you enter to rows of PO Boxes. As you go left, there is a large counter area where you can prepare your mail and head to the counter to send it out, buy stamps, or pick up a package that may be waiting for you. The staff at this location is always attentive and friendly. There is usually only 1-3 people in line when I come here, but they usually only have one person working the counter. This can cause you to wait a few minutes because the clerk is friendly and attentive to whatever services you may need. The pricing is based on a national rate, so all post offices should be the same. You can take care of your passport stuff here too. Life hack: ship it priority and get free tracking! If a nice, clean post office with a friendly staff is your jam, check out this location. You'll surely be greeted with a smile.

It's a 'mostly-secure' and 'mostly-reliable' system which under current 'rule' manages to make some of the worst logistic decisions on the planet. (You'd think they'd take a hint or two from UPS...) They consistently employ people who are the antithesis of anything resembling the term, 'customer-centric.'
