I agree with what others are saying. The customer service is lack luster. I filled out a change of address at a different USPS and was told that it would take 10 days before the mail would arrive at the new address and that I would receive a confirmation letter in the mail. 14 days later, no confirmation letter or mail change. I went back to the facility and inquired about the status. The employee told me that I had to go to the facility in the zip code where the change occurred. Odd, but OK. So, I came to this location. When I told the employee my story, they rolled their eyes and said the other employee was lazy and didn't do their job. I about pulled out their teeth to get them to find out the status of my claim. They kept telling me that I didn't give it enough time. Could you just check! I still don't have an answer. They told me there's no change of address confirmation letter. No such thing. I'll wait another week. If nothing, I guess I'll go directly to Tampa to resolve my issue. read more

I visited this location after I was instructed by an agent through the toll free number due to a damaged package. The place is not busy compared to other locations I've visited. There was plenty of parking in front of the building. The grounds were nice and clean. This location is a bit tucked away, I had to use my GPS to find it. When I arrived to this location I was greeted my a friendly employee who was super helpful to assist in solving my issue with the damaged package. He was a little uncertain how to proceed so he wanted a supervisor's opinion. He called over Jose to make sure he was complete the process correctly. When Jose came over he was not very helpful in finding a solution. He was very short and rude. We were under the impression he did not want to deal with us, he just wanted us to go online. I am not saying he was incorrect to direct us online, but it was his tone and attitude. Managers are typically more solution based versus contributing conflict. After this experience I will not return to this location. The employee went above and beyond but the supervisor on duty ruined my visit. Next time I will seek out a different location. read more

I have made 3 complaints about my mail not being forwarded. TODAY IS GOING TO BE THE 4TH I did mail forwarding online paying the $1.00 fee and I also had to go in person to do the request. I'm still over 3 months later not receiving my forwarded mail!!!!!!!!! I have spoken to 2 different supervisors from this location. Came here today even though reading the reviews made me nervous about coming here. It was about 920 and there was already a line. The staff was friendly and after standing in line for a while made an announcement that one side was for drop off and one for pick up. So that sped things along. The customers here we getting frustrated with some of the employees -_- sooooo there's that but once I got to the counter the lady I interacted with was friendly, professional and efficient... what more could I want? read more

This is a decent enough post office. In my various trips ig found their are usually no lines around 4 PM. A little hidden away, my first time coming had me searching for a few minutes. Staff is friendly enough, some much more than others. Can only give three stars since they do not have the self service kiosks which are incredibly convenient if you must come during peak times or when post office is closed. They also sell stamps and greeting and gift cards if you've forgotten a special occasion and just want to send something out on the spot. The postal pick-up window is the reason I will only use UPS or FedEX going forward. Long lines with zero acknowledgement by staff (other than to YELL at people to get in the line by the blue door) that we exist. Have now been in line for 10 minutes without anyone coming to the window to ask for notifications. Third time (of 3) I have endured the exact same treatment. Schedule your time wisely for this. I got helped by Crissy and she was great, she assisted me in picking the correct envelope for my items and put it together and secured it for me which I'm really happy for cause usually I am lost when I go to the post office. I got an update from tracking my package that it would arrive a Friday evening. I saw that the tracking said out for delivery from this post office. I waited and waited and the mailman left a few packages at my door but I was still missing the main one I was tracking!! I waited again and then I got a notification that the package was taken to the opalocka distribution facility!!!!! I was so frustrated and thought maybe they'll send it out for Saturday. But NO it's back at the same Hollywood post office it had come from with "out for delivery" and now I just got a notification that it'll be delayed until Monday. I'm not one to write bad reviews and Covid isn't easy but it's not the delays I'm frustrated about it's the fact that I've LOST so many packages through USPS and I kind of doubt I'll get this one any time soon. They used to have a self service kiosk at this location...once it was removed I asked why and the employee said "so people like me can keep their jobs". Incompetent, lazy, rude thieves is even an understatement. I have a retail business and For every 8 packages mailed through this facility, at least 2 go missing or mis-delivered and extremely late, even if priority shipping used. I've even started waiting in their always long lines to ensure that my packages are scanned into their system and still having issues. For example, This facility is located in miramar and I mail a package to Pembroke Pines customer received it 2 weeks later, by which time I had already replaced the item. Another package with 6 items never got delivered to miami to this date. Another package heading for pompano is nowhere to be found several weeks after mailing and their response is "you have to wait 14 business days before filing a claim". I could go on and I about several incidents. They have no response, always seem nonchalant and rude when you make inquiries. And don't even bother using the USPS online lost inquiry because they basically accept no fault and tell my clients to request I replace the item or do a charge back on credit card. I kind of like this USPS, they usually only have two or one person at the front counter. But many people do not know this post office location so you are always literally in and out of the door. The other thing I like about this post office, this is one of the few locations that offer street addressed PO BOXES. So you do not have to waste money at an expensive UPS store to rent a box for 3 months to register a business or something else. read more

What a horrible place. I have a serious case of Mail Theft that originated at this post office. Had to file a police report as well as open a case with the postal inspector. I receive a voicemail from an employee here named Manuel Pasado, telling me to call him back at 954-430-3926. Well, guess what...no one ever answers the phone and there is no voicemail. Ok first I have to give it at least 1 star in order to leave this review. This Post Office is ridiculous. I received a notice to pick up mail. I came in on Saturday at 9:15 /9:20 in the morning to get it and I see already a line of 5 people waiting by the pick up line. The postal employee tells me as soon as she sees the orange slip in my hand that I have to wait until 10 for pick ups as per her supervisor. The postal employee had at this time 1 person she was taking care of regarding mailing out letters. The rest of the post office was like a ghost town and by this I mean empty except for those of us waiting for the pick ups by the blue door. The orange slip clearly states Saturday pick ups 9AM to 1PM. The blue door for pick ups clearly states Saturday 9AM to 1:30PM so I don't understand why we have to wait until 10. They can not say either that they were short staffed because you could clearly hear plenty of them in the back carrying on laughing and what not. Yes I did place a call into the 1800 number and yes someone did call me back. Yes I did file a complaint and I have a complaint confirmation number which someone should be calling me back by Monday no later then Wednesday. I will be waiting for this call if not I will be calling again. On Monday I will be placing anothrr call to another supervisor who is over this supervisor here. On 9/30/19@4:35pm a Usps envelope was delivered to the Miramar, office from the senders address in Tyngsboro Massachusetts. That very day, I confirmed this envelope to be there (Miramar) and that it "was" delivered to the receiver's address. Post day # 3, after five (5) phone calls to the Usps (800) number this envelope can not be located. I've attempted to call the Miramar, office directly using the two numbers I have. The 1st. # 1-954-704-3926 HAS been Disconnected. The 2nd. # 1-954-704-8993 the phone just rang, and rang, and rang. If this is the usual customer service then you folks stink... After 5 pm Eastern Standard Time this evening (4 hours and 40 minutes from now) I'm going to call (the 800 number for the 6th time in 3 days) to have the search elevated to the higher district level. I hope in the future Usps improves it's level of customer service as I hope not to deal with this service in the future. read more

One of my packages had a check inside and it was stolen and the check was cashed. They insisted that they delivered my package, but they were lying. Mailman here are all criminals! I am deeply disappointed and disgusted in the USPS in the Miramar area. My grandmother lives in Florida in the Miramar area. She came to N.Y to visit me. We mailed this jar of tea from NY to Florida where she lives. This way, by the time she would fly back to Florida, the package would be there by the time she arrived. Luckily, when the package arrived my grandmother was home. And to her dismay the package had been OPEN and one of her TEAs gone! She tracked down the mailman (who was still in the area) and told him that she knew that the package had been open and that her tea was missing. The mailman, obviously aware of the stole tea, described the missing item to a "T" and said it was sitting on his supervisor's desk!! My grandmother demanded it be brought back and the mailman, on the phone with his supervisor said they "couldn't find it" and don't know where it was. This was all a big joke to them. The mailman tried to make it clear that the missing tea wasn't something he was apart of. But, the whole situation reeks of disgust because when he saw my grandmother approaching she heard him say on the telephone "she knows." A few days later, the missing tea (with a good portion of it missing) was sitting in her mailbox. So that mean this company is opening up people's mail, and devouring what they see fit? read more
