****Like my reviews please**** and Thx!! Let's start off with Ms Ms.Erica filing a claim for me regarding my package being rerouted. She's a customer service rep that calls you back when u request a call back from holding too long ..Not local..I can't make this up soon as I got off the phone maybe 5 minutes later I got a return call from the Joliet station which is where my package was last tracked from the Supervisor/Manager Miss Tanesha. So pleasant over the phone and sounded very eager to assist me. When I tell you she lifted my spirits. I nearly had a panic attack with how fast she called back there was no time..lolbvs. I can't explain what a blessing it is to have such kind hearted genuine people that care about customer service still around. She helped to resolve my issue faster than her call back. I just want to say thank you for having such a great team. I'm at work now and I didn't spend much time getting my personal issue resolved. This was truly a blessing I prayed to God about this and boy does he move fast. I'm so glade you guys hired the right kind of people for the public. Words can't explain how happy I am for Miss Tanesha saving the day. It's the Holidays as of now 2 days away from Xmas and mostly all people have been calling off work from there jobs Bc were now in a bad snow storm and the weather is -1 and she still was able to make it in to work (Passionate about her job) and I must say she is my Angel. I'm thanking the heavens up above for her right now. Thanks USPS Joliet 60432. I had an amazing experience being that my issue got resolved in less than 10 minutes read more

Someone in that office stole my package, because of the warning sign on the box that stated it was a battery inside they knew it was something. They stole my phone that I was trying to return. Now I have to pay for it. read more

Very disappointing experience. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone--after calling about 20 times, no one answered. When I finally did get through, I calmly explained my concern about a missing package. Instead of helping, the employee hung up on me. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially from a location with government-backed jobs where customer service should be a priority. I hope management addresses this issue and improves their communication and service read more

2 days with package pickup requests and 2 days with the packages still in the box along with the request paper. Today the pickup request and a few different houses mail were put in the broken parcel locker. Whoever this woman is needs to lose her job. Can deal with her throwing packages to do the door but I'm not going to deal with chasing mail down the street because she's too lazy read more

The window service workers have terrible attitudes and are extremely unprofessional. It was very uncomfortable hearing one of them be very disrespectful towards a hispanic family and talk under her breath. I didn't realize window service workers were paid to be rude. Worst location in the area..do not recommend. read more

In the last 6 months checks mailed to me from WILL COUNTY COURT which I get every 2 weeks have been lost..twice were scanned for delivery... once just plain LOST for 3-6 weeks..whats going on with the post office..can't call mail boxes ALL FULL..can't leave message... called WILL COUNTY Friday hasn't been returned either ..today is 2 weeks since it was scanned for delivery... people DO STILL get IMPORTANT mail sent to them...ALL they seem to manage to deliver are JUNK MAIL and LOTS of that read more

Unprofessional window workers talking about personal lives in front of customers. One of the worst post offices in the area.

Came here to apply for my passport since I lost my old one keep in mind you have to schedule a appointment online before arrival, This young lady name Talisha helped me getting things together and taking my photo etc, the overall experience and assistance was excellent, the wait was not bad at all due to it not being too many people on the day I went. read more

If I could give this post office a -10 review, it would be accurate. This is the fourth time I put a hold on my mail. It was to last from 1/15/2025 and be delivered to my home on 2/6/2025. As of 2/10/2025, I have still not received it. I did put in a complaint with the USPS on 2/7/2025 and received an email on 2/8/2025 stating they have received my inquiry and would be in touch. It was signed by Shakyila with the phone number of 815-773-1061. I have called it several times this morning but it rings around 10 times then hangs up. I would go there to pick up my mail and may have to do this later today (there are tax documents and even a certified letter) but I do have pneumonia and a low grade fever so my energy level is not good and I'm told I'm contagious with a fever. Maybe I can get them sick and then they WILL have excuse to not do their jobs. The first time I had put it on hold which was about 2 yrs ago they didn't deliver the mail so I put a post it note in the box. They didn't deliver again. Put another note in the box and they didn't deliver again. Both times the notes were gone. Went over to the post office and finally picked up my mail. The second and third time they never picked it up and held it. Went to the post office and asked them if I had done something wrong and one employee said to go to this site and file a complaint which I did. The response was the postal person did not receive the hold. Sounded pretty unrealistic since the hold mail card was put into the mailbox. One of their employees had to have picked it up because they were both gone. This last time I went to the Joliet post office on McDonough Street, physically handed that to their employee, asked if they handle Crest Hill And they responded Yes. I also filled out another card, took a picture of it and put it into my mail box. The rest is written above. read more

Wish I could give negative stars but employees are very rude and I mean it's your job to help us out maybe they should look into a more independent work where they don't have to interact with people read more

This has got to be the worst post office ever I've been calling them for a total of 5 days about my package that's just sitting up there non movement & no body answer the phone & it won't allow me to leave any messages read more

Worst delivery service ever, always receiving others mail and others always receive mine, it's ridiculous, talked to supervisor many times nothing is ever done and I'm still missing mail, I'm wondering when will this ever get fixed! Going on two years with this shitty delivery issue! read more

45 minutes on hold to report a package not delivered and noone answers. usps is the worst shipping service ibn the us.

I hate most USPS post offices. So I dreaded the fact that I had to send off a package while I visited Illinois. Still, this went fairly quickly and easily. That rarely happens. Maybe I was just lucky? read more

It is so hard to talk to anybody when I call them there's about 5 options every one says mail box is full I stay on phone almost all day .this is ridiculous . read more

This time I was in & out in 10 minutes because there were more employees working. The worker who assisted me was polite and prompt and I only had to wait a few minutes in line before being helped. As I was leaving, the line was becoming much longer as an employee had closed her "window." If you need to go and are in a hurry, I suggest you give yourself an extra 15 to 30 minutes as this branch is usually very busy. read more

Rudest employees around. Bad interactions on several occasions towards me or other customers. If it was towards me, it was only because I wasn't aware of where I should place my packages & decided to go to the desk for help instead, but I just get yelled at for not knowing and my packages get slammed on tables. Sticking to self service only. read more

We have complained several times about our mail. The weekly flyers have not been delivered. This week was not received at all. We have called and emailed and also the website. We also called Jewel and Food for Less to complain. We don't get them hardly at all. We were told by the carrier that they delivery them when they get them. Someone is dropping the ball because the stores pay to get them sent but they are not being delivered. We are very upset. 1413 NICHOLSON ST. JOLIET, 60435. read more

I hate it when I actually have to stop in to pick things up. The lines are usually long, and the people that work here have the personality of a dial tone. This particular visit there were two people working the counter while another greeted people in the lobby area Meanwhile the line was about ten people deep. The greeter isn't needed. Have them work the counter to keep the lines moving. #ThatIsAll read more

Place totally sucks and they have the worst attitude ever. There is ONE decent lady here but other then that forget it. Half the time the mail carriers don't leave a pink slip and when I track my package I have to come here. I give them my Id and still they want to get an attitude because their carrier didn't leave the correct slip. Place is lame and I hope with the post office cuts coming some of these tudes get cut with them. read more

I normally avoid the post office like the plague. However, this location isn't bad at all. Sometimes the lines are a bit long, but it's usually due to the patient counter staff assisting customers. Everyone seems to leave happy and I have always received pleasant, courteous, efficient service. read more

Service is very bad, especially troublesome wait that does not work, has been difficult for us

If I could give negative stars to this post office and it's carriers I would!!! They are rude and obnoxious with no clue how to drive or do their jobs!! Saturday I witnessed our carrier drive right into my neighbors landscaping bricks surrounding their mailbox! When confronted she was rude and extremely nasty!! I ended up up filing a police report to hopefully get some results from the post office! My neighbor was told to contact the office Monday but of course she has only gotten the run around and they don't want to take responsibility!! They should all be fired!!! read more

I didn't receive mail for a week and the substitute delivery man didn't even come to the house to pick up outgoing mail clearly visible from the street. Called to talk with the supervisor, no response to my voicemail. Went into this location to discuss with a supervisor, left information for a call back, nothing yet. Today my regular mailman asks me why I'm not getting any mail and hands me a package with a large boot print on it smashing it. I assume that's the USPS way of handling complaints, throw away your mail and damage your packages. Typical government agency performance. You'd never keep your jobs in the private sector. read more

Why is it not possible to leave zero stars? That would be a negative one there. A simple question about max allowable weight of a first class stamp was met with..."I'm busy" & "Go back and wait in line, I need to count my drawer now." read more

I sent five envelopes Priority 2-Day at around $7 each. None of them arrived on time (one took 8 days). When I inquired about a refund, I was told there is no guarantee of 2 day delivery. Most of the destinations I mailed to were estimated to be 2 day delivery via standard first class mail. No explanation, no apology. Ridiculous and awful. Please privatize mail delivery. read more

I recently went here to turn in my passport app. During my time there staff was very very rude with me for no reason. They act as if I knew how this process went. We have been doing prepaid shipping for years now and never had to wait in line. Until just recently. Now we are told that we can not drop off our packages in front if they are too big or won't fit into the bins because they are full because they are too lazy to empty them. They used to accept this no problem. Now for no other reason than they are just too incompetent and lazy will they not do this anymore. A select handful of people working there are extremely rude and incompetent. The postmaster there is a jerk. How this guy got the position of postmaster is unbelievable! This guy allows his employees the freedom to disrespect customers. He has No communication skills, No common sense, No problem solving skills, No customer service skills, No managerial skills. He is rude, he will talk over you while you are talking with him and if anything you say upsets him he will start yelling at you. So he has No patience either. This post office is by far the most mismanaged fiasco of a delivery service I have ever experienced in my life. These people are rude and incompetent beyond belief! Several times I have seen some of these clerks and supervisors treat customers like dirt! read more

Clearly UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! They've scanned my package into their system and it was sent out for delivery. One week later no delivery, no update, no NOTHING! I've called faithfully for a full week and I keep getting pushed around over the phone to ALWAYS end at leaving a voicemail with their office postmaster. DEAD END everyday for five business days. No accountability! Several times the just wanted to brush me off. No professionalism whatsoever!!! I will return with update to my package status. May have to file a claim. So unprofessional on their behalf. Why are our tax dollars paying them? This place is in serious need of a NEW postmaster who's grateful to have a job. read more

This is the worst post office. Besided being slow, they're lazy & ignorant on every level. I would go out of my way and drive to Plainfield or Bolingbrook post office instead of dealing with their bs. If they have attitude problem, I certainly don't trust them with my mails. read more

This is by far the worst post office ever, RUDE clerks, long lines, slow service. Sometimes my mail shows up at 8:30 at night! Last night the carrier left the certified letter in my box without bothering to ring my bell and I've been waiting to receive this letter . It took 4 days to go from Bedford Park to Joliet and then they don't bother to come to my door!, now I have to wait in a long line due to there lazy ways. read more

I have gone to this Post Office many times and it usually has a line, not the regular employees fault but management!!! I would not even have to go if the Mail person would have got out the truck and rang my door bell for a signature!!! Going back tomorrow for the same problem. Once I asked when the rates were going up (I knew it was in a couple weeks but not the exact day), I could not get an answer cause they did not know!!! This is your job, where you work, these people get great benifits and pay compared to people in non goverment jobs and are worthless. Please get with it as I pay for the service, its not free!!!! read more

Window hours are 8am-2pm on saturdays. Someone is at the window "helping" a customer (mostly arguing and asking what the customer expects the post office to do- bad attitude from the worker!) when i arrive at 10am. I wait behind this other customer for almost 30 min, postal worker sees and makes eye contact with me, then other customer leaves. Postal worker starts to shut window door when i state that i need to pick up mail. She says window isnt open. (??) and slams the door shut in my face. How is the window not open during window hours, especially when someone IS there to work it, and WAS working it just a second ago? LAZY employees.
