Old rude woman working the counter apparently doesn't know why people come in to a USPS drop off. I walked in and she just keeps playing on her phone for a while before coming to the counter. I hand her my package and she stares at me for a few seconds before "what am I supposed to do with it?" I really wanted to reply "I don't know maybe mail it?" but didn't want it to get magically lost so I said I'm dropping it off to get mailed and she just grabs it and throws it behind her. No receipt or scan or anything so who knows if it'll even get sent out. Totally avoid this place if you want to be 100% sure your stuff is going to be sent. read more

Very rude and unhelpful over the phone. I had one question about shipping to Hawaii and was on the phone for them for less than twenty seconds. They hung up while I was still speaking. Called another post office (185th in Aloha) and they answered my question kindly, quickly, and gave specific answers about pricing per pound, etc. If the man speaking to me did not know the answer to my very simple question, he clearly could have found the answer with minimal effort since the answer was so freely given by another employee at another location. It's so hard to judge this location. First, I go in there late night trying to use the machine... You know, the machine which eliminates my need to stand in line during the day. With the other 50 people who also need to mail things. Really, I just needed stamps. It took me a good 15 minutes and apparently the machine did not want to give them up if it had them to begin with. But the 15 minutes was me fighting with the machine. Oh, not fighting.... But waiting for it to either run or reject my card. That's how long it's sat there thinking about it. One might ask, "Why not just give up?". Would you leave a machine running your card? The machine never did give me stamps and tried to take the money out of my account twice. After that you would expect me to give this post office a horrific review. But then I went in there today to mail two things. We just established that I, obviously, cannot use their machine so I had to actually go in. I set aside a good hour because the last time I actually went into this post office a year ago I waited forever. This time... I walked in and walked straight up to the next available person. Technically there was one person in line before me but as I was walking up to the line, they were about to be helped. The gentleman who helped me was fast, friendly and very efficient. Nestled in the corner of the convenience store of the Space Age Fuel Station exists this tiny USPS cash only counter; and what a gem this is. Although, it doesn't pop up on Google, Yelp! or any other search engine (until now) this is the most convenient location for quick Post Office transactions. If you're located in NW Tribeca (Beaverton, Aloha, Hillsboro) then you too will find this location the most accessible. Sure there is a full scale Post Office further up 185th and also in downtown Beaverton but they both can take some time to get to during peak hours. This location is nearest Streets of Tanasbourne and always quick and easy to get in and out of! read more

I've never experienced a post office like this...part post office, part gas station. It is a very small space that is dedicated to the post office (more like post corner), which can be a pain during rush hours. The staff is much nicer than any other post office I've frequented, though...maybe it's the gas fumes...or the easy access to honey buns. In any case, I appreciate the service with a smile. Parking is plentiful and there's a bus stop nearby. No credit/debit cards for purchases under $10. Not many supplies for sale...get your tape and labels at Target. Not much room to pack goods so have your items ready to go. read more

Who knew there was a miniature post office within a gas station convenience store? I went yesterday and was super pleased with the convenience. The lady was great and helped me. When I realized my transaction was less than $10 (only had debit card, no cash) - I asked to buy stamps to make up the difference. She quickly calculated that I needed to buy at least 9 stamps. It's amazing if you have your package ready and prepaid. It's in the corner of a gas station and it doesn't have a lot of supplies. It only accepts credit/debit cards if the transaction is over $10 (credit cards also have an additional fee). If you have everything ready to go, however, it's a quick in and out as it rarely has a line like the regular post office locations. read more

Worst customer service I've literally ever seen. A girl working the counter fake pumps my fragile package at a coworker and proceeds to throw it onto a shelf, which I watch it fall off of. When I get upset at witnessing a USPS employee jokingly chuck my package, she exclaims that "she already asked if it was fragile," which regardless of if she did (which I did not hear) the manner in which she spoke to me was extremely unprofessional and flat out rude. After I am noticeably angry and ask that my packages be labeled fragile AFTER I watch one get tossed onto the ground, I received the worst attitude I've literally ever encountered from a professional. No apology, snarky body language and facial expressions, and throws my receipt at me with no words. If I could give zero stars, I would. Hope she learns a thing or two about customer service and basic human decency sometime soon. read more

Be aware of over charging postal customers at this post office. This was the second time we visited this post office. First time we visited to mail a package, we haven't checked the receipt (that was a mistake on our part). Yesterday my wife visited this post office to mail 2 packages to our son. After she mailed the packages and came home, she decided to check her credit card card account to pay her bill. That is when she discovered that the post office charged her 4 times. 2 charges for a total of $14.38 for 2 packages with 2 receipts with USPS header (these 2 charges are genuine) and then there were 2 additional changes for an additional total amount of $15.18 under the name of Space Age No. 23 (the name of the gas station where the post office is located). The post office attendant didn't bother to tell my wife that they will charge twice as much (for what, to pay their rent?) I will never visit this post office again. I would rather send packages by UPS or FedEx. read more

I've used this contract post office many times to drop off packages. Some of the young women who work here are very friendly. That's why there are 2 stars. But there is a very unfriendly older woman. She has nothing but a sour face every time I've been there and she will start rolling her eyes and getting in a huff if she has to do her job. Scan packages that take 5 seconds? Too much work! This is a Contract Postal Unit (CPU) of the USPS. They are not allowed to charge more than the standard USPS prices, so I guess they are run as a "loss leader" to get people into the Space Age gas station and/or convenience store. They provide only basic services (no money orders, for instance), but with no other US Post Office close by, they are a huge relief from the sometimes outrageous upcharge at the privately owned "mail" stores.
