Completely awful and unresponsive service. Promise they will call you back and never do. Wait 30 minutes on hold just to be told you have to be called back. And then never get called back. I ordered an alternator and it worked well. I was continuously contacting them so I could be sent the return label since I did not receive it in my order to return the original piece I had in my car. I sent various emails and called plenty of times. When calling they would tell me to email them and they would send it and it never happened. I did not receive the return label after contacting them various times and I did not receive my money back for the core charge due to that. read more

service department are all thieves they charged $275 for a diagnostic report but all they did was look under the car. We never actually got the report. Scotty from the service department is the biggest thief of all, they wanted to charge me more than $3,000 to fix my car and i was able to get it done for $700 worst place to work with! Shady service Do your research before you get serviced by them as they will rip you off. Purchased a 2018 vehicle from them, which under circumstances gave us a terrible deal...high interest on a loan, but my bad for not researching and going through a bank. Not my complaint. Our tire blew out and we needed to replace it. Called to have vehicle service. Should have done research prior to other places but trusted in them. Last year around this time we replace 2 tires after we had two flats at a ford delar in queens. So we have basically all new tires. Recieved a call frim Vic we needed to replace all the tires... This was a red flag as if they were servicing our vehicle prior how did are tires crap out way before 50000 miles. My partner agreeded. They had to order the tires so our vehicle would not be ready till next day afternoon. The quote was $1300. As soon as my partner told me, I called around and was quoted $700 cheaper at tire only establishments with 3 year warrenty and free balance and rotation. I told my partner to call them back as we had another solution. Called back to cancel as if they were ordering the tires no service was done. The person who answered said that they just ordered and seemed upset but said ok. Than a few minutes later Vic called and said that they were almost done replacing the tires.... So basically we had the service, even though they said it wouldnt happen till the next day. Obviously nothing we could do at this point, then when we picked up the vehicle, no warrenty or explanation was given when asked why the price was so high. The cashier did not know what tires we got. Lots of miscommunication there and inflated prices. We will never get our vehicle serviced there again. read more

This is a zero stars review: The most obvious reason someone chooses to bring their car to a dealer's service department over a local mechanic is that you want someone who is an expert on how your vehicle functions. After all, no one should be more capable to diagnose and repair your car issues than the vehicle's manufacturer right? I recently brought my car into service at United Ford in Secaucus to have them look into fixing a couple of issues with it that I mostly considered minor. For background info, I have been bringing my vehicle occasionally to this Ford Service Dept for at least a decade for repairs that I would not trust to just any auto service shop. Until recently they went by the name "Meadowsland Ford". Other than a couple of quality control issues that forced me to return my car back to them to fix, I did not have much a problem with them. As you can read from other reviews under their old name, the service department United Ford was always lacking in customer service. However, this with particular visit I learned that both customer service and quality control have completely disintegrated there. First, lets start with the outrageous diagnostic fee that is asked of anyone dropping their vehicle off for inspection. It is at least 3 times the going rate of any non-dealer service shop in the region. I was told that this is because the technicians spend their time diagnosing problems and then customers don't follow-through on the repairs. I didn't understand at the time why that would be the case but I was soon to be enlightened. To be accurate, I was told that most of the diagnostic fee would be absorbed into the repair costs if I were to proceed with them. When I dropped my car at 8am, I was told that someone would contact me later with their diagnostic findings based on the repairs I requested. 3pm rolled around and I had yet to hear from United Ford so I called them. They answered and quoted me more than $1K for 3 repairs that I had considered relatively minor. I was also told that a needed an oil change - less than two weeks after I got one with the sticker on the windshield for proof! Obviously, there was no way I was going to pay those exorbitant repair charges so I figured that I'd be out the nearly $250 diagnostics fee and that alone would serve as a lesson to never return my car to United Ford again for service. So I had to leave my job early that day to pick up my car because UF has the most customer-unfriendly hours of operations. Since they were closing and rush-hour traffic is really bad in the area I did not take notice of the condition of vehicle until I returned home with it. It was at that point I realized that my car is in a worst state than when it was brought in to United Ford. For instance, I had asked them to look at a very minor problem with my rear windshield wiper and upon return it did not function at all! Not only that, I asked for a problem with one of my door locks to be addressed. An experienced mechanic would have known right away from the symptoms that the real source of the problem was in the rear of my vehicle and not actually at the door's control panel. Yet, my master panel was taken part and terribly reassembled. It now "gives" a little every time the door is opened or closed. Also, the mechanic left wiring exposed in the door jam. I brought the car back to United first thing in the morning and showed the service manager the new issues that I now have with the car thanks to them. He stated that the mechanic who worked on my vehicle was not there yet and I could either wait for him to come in or leave my car with them so he could correct his mistakes. Honestly, I did not want anybody there touching my car ever again so I just left. A few days later, I asked a friend who is not a mechanic but is handy to look at my rear windshield. He was able fix Ford's mistake along with the original issue within 20 minutes. United had originally told me that I needed a new part installed and that the cost would be $200 plus the $250 diagnose charge that would not be absorbed as originally stated. My friend inspected the rest of the vehicle and then said "Whomever worked on your car at the dealership trashed it. They should not be allowed near someone's car let alone be employed in an auto repair center." I will let my friend's comment speak for me and add "Do not bring your vehicle to this dealership for repairs!" read more

I had a recall on my Ford Explorer. I called the Ford dealership in Brooklyn and they couldn't see me until mid-September. I called this location and got an appointment for the same week. Once I got to the dealership they were so polite and professional. Victor took my keys and asked me was I ok. I asked him how to get back to NY. He told me about the train station and not to worry someone would drive me there. 5 minutes later another gentleman also named a Victor drove me to the train station. Victor#1 called me within a few hours to tell me my car was ready. When I came back to get my car Victor #2 picked me up from the train station. Talk about great service!!!! I will definitely return to this location if I have any more problems with my truck. read more
