I live in VA (cca 250miles from the dealership) and the windshield must have been replaced. Jonathan, the salesman found a repair shop in VA where the windshield should have been replaced for free. Eventually it didn't happen and I had to visit the Wayne dealership again for the windshield replacement. This resulted in 500 miles in the car, one extra day out of my office and rescheduling all my meetings that day. The car assessment would be 100% without this trouble. The question is how the presale inspection was done... Personnel - 95 %. Friendly and professional. Sometimes, the answers to my questions took longer than I expected. But I am not native US citizen so my question could have been unusual. Not having the issue with the windshield there would be nothing to worry about. The owner Frank is a very polite person, who always makes time to interact with customers. But he is also a very busy man. Working with his specialized mechanics team, in order for them to operate like a well oiled machine. He listens very carefully to each customer as they explain what mechanical problems they are having with their vehicles. Then I watched him several times in the couple of days while at his shop. Start visually investigating what the problem could be on whatever car came through the service station. Then if necessary he would perform a diagnostics test to locate the exact problem that needed to be fixed. I then watched him and his team of mechanics with a limited but reasonable amount of time, locate the exact problem and make the necessary repairs. I was amazed, because they knew exactly what they were doing and before you knew it the car had been repaired and on its way out of the shop. Every customer was happy and extremely satisfied with the professional work and reasonable price the paid. All his mechanics are every friendly as the video I have presented here will show as my car is on the lift being repaired. You will find "No" better car repair shop than ECP Auto Service. I asked so many question in regards to cars and I'm sure they were over it but they were so enthusiastic about it. They have a fridge that holds complementary waters and also a coffee/tea station if you like. I thought it was going to be super loud in there, being it's on a major highway in a large city plus it's a mechanic shop with heavy machinery that normally makes a lot of noise I was mistaken. I could hear the guys behind the counter talking about their pets and families, that's how quiet and sound proof that shop is. The bathroom is the one that takes the cake, anywhere I go if the bathroom looks like trash I bet you the service and everything else is too. Their bathroom is pristine, very clean bathroom especially for a male dominated shop I was shocked but at the same time I was so impressed. They had a table that holds magazines and newspapers for the readers out, just be prepared to read anything from sports, car and local menu's. Time of service...well depending on what you are getting it will determine how long you will be there. I was getting tints, I wasn't in there too long and I also did notice some customers coming in and leaving before me. Mainly because they were getting something else that took less time. I am not longer use them and every cost was triple on price, they constantly blamed Mercedes, they broke my hood struts, never replaced then , and they just kept blaming Mercedes was the problem, the problem was them. After the repair, the vehicle still had issues, and I did not feel that the work performed justified the cost. Communication about the repairs and charges was also not clear. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this mechanic and would advise others to carefully review the estimate and work before proceeding.
